I really like Indian food because its very tasty and has a lot of spices. So in this place everything was good. The portions were very big. Food has good smell and tasty.

Indians must skip this restaurant. The Indian waitress working there treats Indian customers very badly but she pays lot of attention to non Indian customers. Food is pathetic 🤮 I ordered chicken Biriyani, mutton soup, gulab jamun , samosa, etc Orange color rice with some chicken pieces was brought in a plate in the name of Biriyani☹️ No taste 😢 Knor soup with some rotten mutton pieces was served in a bowl in the name of mutton soup Couple of months old 3 chilled gulab Jamoon which was yucky Only savior was Samosa which I liked 😊 Indians should definitely avoid this restaurant

Indian restaurant in the old town area, great place to sit outside and watch the world go by. With the occasional horse drawn carriage going past. The food was delicious, no complaints at all. And English well spoken

Went here for dinner on our first night in Warsaw and it was so good we came back on our last night. First class Indian food, good sized portions and staff are polite and helpful. Service was quick and food piping hot. A great experience and would highly recommend.

My visit to Maharani restaurant left me with mixed feelings. While the restaurant boasts a charming ambiance and an interesting menu, the overall experience was marred by some service issues. I observed bad food service as well as no friendly staff communication. These aspects impacted the flow of our meal and contributed to a less enjoyable dining experience. I believe addressing these service-related issues could significantly enhance the overall customer satisfaction. It would be beneficial for the staff to receive additional training or support to ensure a smoother and more efficient service for future patrons. I appreciate the potential Maharani has, and with some improvements in service, it could truly become a standout dining destination. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, and I look forward to hearing about positive changes in the future

Simply amazing. Used to live in UK for 15 years and over there I became curry lover. I thought I had it all until I tried Kadai Mutton at Maharani. It wasn't just a curry it was a party of flavour in my mouth...Loved it!

The food looked lovely, but I wouldn’t know as we waited 15 minutes to be served (didn’t even get as far as drinks or poppadoms!) so gave up and went to the Italian next door…(very nice)

The food here was delicious. We had the onion bahji for starter then chicken tikka masala, prawn curry and cauliflower and potato for our mains. We had some food leftover but very little rice left. Our wonderful waitress brought us a fresh container of rice for us to takeaway with our leftovers. That was so nice of her.

Ordered chicken Biryani and felt like served curry mixed in plain rice. Tea tested like milk with light tea flavor.

Super tasty food ! We ordered some classics - paneer tikka masala and biryani. Good amount of food, excellent price, and really nice people! The lady who served us share with me some stories about India!

A good Indian food place. We ordered Paneer Pakorha Masala Chai Pros: 1. Good service with a smile. 2. Indian food flavor is nice. Toned down to European crowd level. 3. New Indian music. Cons: 1. Food lacks the spectrum of spices, Indians yearn for. The food is for European people. Definitely give this place a try.

Absolutely lovely food. Generous helpings. Spicy level to the point that you would like it to be. We ordered for starters, and that could have been enough.

These guys are the best! Poland is not exactly known for spicy food but they will make it hot. And the chicken soup was simple yet sublime.

We ordered two dishes from starters . I was waiting for two starters 30 minutes. I realized it was too late . When I ask to service girl when my food will be ready she told me within few minutes dish will be ready ! In few minutes and I waited nearly 40 minutes for the dish but I didn't my food than unfortunately I had to canceled the order . I am a frequent visitor to Indian restaurants and I often order the same dishes to check the dishes. Well, in this place I was not given this opportunity. If you don't like to waste your time than don't visit .I do not recommend this restaurant 😒

If you are tired of Polish cuisine or like me are vegetarian, this restaurant is the right place where Penjabi, Indian cuisine is served. Service is great. The vegetable cashew korma and the roast sesame nan were very good. Prices are very reasonable. The terrace is a nice plus.

Cozy indian food restaurant right in old town. Nice Ambience . Delicious food. Fast service. Dahiwala Baingan, Garlic paneer, Shahi Paneer, Tadka Daal. Tandoori Roti’s and Lachha paratha were all tasty and light.

Last time I liked this restaurant so I visited again and found it very disappointing experience Roti and Naan were very good 👍 Dal Soup was good Palak Paneer was not bad... there is scope for improvement. Chicken Kashimiri was very poor in taste, the chicken taste was bad and curry was just butter chicken curry with something added into it...it was smelling kind of different Finally Tea.....horrible and disgusting...I have never had such a horrible tea in life...why do they call it tea I don't know The restaurant doesn't represent Indian Taste so my request to all non-indian visitors, don't judge indian food by tasting it at Maharani. indian food is much vibrant and delicious

Great palak, good price and nice service! 😍 I am a huge fan of palak, bit it was the best palak I have ever ordered!

Fantastic place! Great food, for a very reasonable price. The staff is Indian so yes, you can expect the real food experience which is not an obvious thing in Poland. Also, the service was very good and very quick. Nothing to complain, much to recommend!

Super yummy food! I highly recommend the mango chicken ❤️ also the waitress was very nice and helped me to make the best decision on what to eat. Thank you a lot!

  • 5/5 Beata J. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent food. Every dish that we ordered had its particular taste, unlike in many other Indian Restaurants where the same bland of spices tend to create similar taste across the menu. Bright, tasty, authentic dishes. Very friendly staff who honored every request. Thank you for introducing your delicious, ethnic food to us here in Central Europe!

I was not expecting great things from a restaurant this close to the tourist heart of the city... but this place blew me away! Delicious food, big portions, delightful service - it was the culinary highlight of our trip to Warsaw!

Great food - as almost everybody would agree! Great value too! But what may get missed is that the service is equally good too! I have traveled to several European countries and this is one of the best Indian food I have eaten outside India. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who likes Indian food!

If you are looking for authentic North Indian flavors, this is your place. Very well located and lovely food. Great escape from so called “Indian” food in Europe. Look out for Naan breads and homemade paneer.

Beautiful food, lovely staff and great prices. I ordered a chicken tikka starter which was absolutely perfect. The chicken was so juicy and the accompanying sauce was lovely. For main, I had Bhuna Gosht (lamb bhuna) with saffron rice and a garlic naan. Again, it was beautifully cooked and the portions were amazing. I had to ask for takeaway boxes because I couldn’t finish it all in one go. 10/10

Very interesting place with Indian culture inside. Mitten soup is wonderful. The way of preparing all dishes with mutton is wonderful. If you want to eat something new with pleasure - it’s your choice.

DELICIOUS! Best Indian food I’ve had outside of India. To be fair, I’ve never been to India, but that just means all the other Indian food I’ve had was outside of India too so that goes to show how good this place is. We tried the chicken tikka masala, curry chicken, chicken korma, and butter chicken, all 10/10. The paneer naan was great too, as well as the guava juice. The server was efficient and kind, and told us some stories about her family. I highly recommend Maharani if you’re craving some amazing Indian food!

Really bad. Poorly made food (and I've had a lot of Indian food, in India and Europe), horrible interior design and worst of all, your clothes will stink for days afterwards. On the plus side, not too expensive. But really, I don't recommend it.

  • 5/5 Agnieszka B. 1 year ago on Google
The best Indian cousin I had for a long time. I live in Berlin and been dining in many Indian restaurants here, but honestly Maharani is absolutely outstanding! Delicious food, grate Indian wine and a very friendly, grate service. I'll surely come back 😊

I visited Maharani restaurant today, and unfortunately, my experience was not up to par. While the ambiance and menu options were promising, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, leading to a slow and frustrating dining experience. I encountered issues with too much slow service, which significantly impacted my overall enjoyment of the meal and on my left day. It's disappointing because I had heard positive things about the restaurant, but my visit did not live up to those expectations. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and works to improve the service quality for future patrons. Honest feedback can be valuable for any business, and I believe addressing these issues could enhance the overall dining experience at Maharani.
