<Review on 27th Sep 2023> The steak doesn’t tender and juicy anymore!!!!!!!! Somehow this restaurant became kinda slow and bad service. I came this restaurant twice this month, Both order same mune-fillet mignon medium rare, and pepper sauce. Both times, dry steaks&well done steak, the staff forget to bring my sauce so i have to wait for more than 10mins to get steak sauce. Even more, i wait for 50mins to get first order and 45mis wait to get main dish. Service and food quality have to be improved. I used to love here a lot but not anymore. Very disappointed. [review i left before in 2022] Trying steak restaurants here and here is the best. A perfect fillet mignon and pepper sauce👍 👍👍 they have live jazz music start from 7pm and amazing atmosphere. Overall, 8.5 out of 10. -0.5 for room temperature breads -1 for a glass of white wine coz we order one red and one white

It looks like a fish market but inside you find a very nice restaurant with good food and nice piano bar. Beautiful design as well in an industrial style. I have eaten excellent beef and perfect pavlova sweet. Like it!

The restaurant had many good ratings and reviews, but was a total let down. The restaurant itself was beautiful inside and out. It had a very nice atmosphere. Now, the food was not that good. Maybe if I ate steak, it probably is an amazing restaurant, but I'm a pescatarian so it doesn't work. I ordered fish which came with only tomatoes and some yellow peppers. This left me feeling more hungry and not full. The cocktails were mediocre. Nothing to talk about. I've eaten at a number of restaurants and this is my least favorite.

This cozy restaurant is simply amazing. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Delicious dishes ( sea food, fish and meat), very professional and hospitable waiters, beautiful presentation of the dishes and wonderful desserts. All in this restaurant was perfect. The courtyard is perfect for having a nice dinner. I would love to come back again and again.

Great food, friendly staff as expected with surprisingly mid-range prices. I’ve been regularly eating here and so far I’ve only been disappointed with the meze mix on the menu as the pita bread were quite obviously reheated and were not fresh so I’d avoid it. I must add though, the Pavlova was stellar.

When I enter a place I give it five stars by default; then it either stays at 5 or goes down. To my disappointment it went down in Der Elefant. Atmosphere: 5/5 Although the atmosphere was great mainly to some really nice jazz music playing and dimmed lights (great for a date) 👍🏼, the food was pretty average. Starter: 2/5 Calamari were chewy and gummy, the breadcrumbs didn’t stick. The salad used to garnish the calamari looked like it had been bought a week before it was placed on the platter. 👎🏼 Main: 3/5 Burgers came medium well instead of well done, as asked for. The side salad was completely dry, had no dressing or even oil on it. Fries from a frozen section in a supermarket. 👎🏼 Wine: 2/5 that was a terrible disaster, because the wine came in an extremely dusted glass - I literally swiped off the dust of the glass. The waitress apologised and brought a new one (although with a screw up like this any respected restaurant would probably take it off the bill). 👎🏼 The wine itself was ok, otherwise it would have gotten 1*. Desserts: 4/5 desserts were fine although nothing special. It’s a nice touch they come with a free espresso. 👍🏼 Service: 4/5 the service was ok, a little bit slow. Wearing thick masks by the staff defeats the purpose completely 😷 - you cannot hear anything what they say so they have to take them off while talking. 😏

Very fresh, simple ingredients in our meal, the catch of the day. Delicious seasonings on the salads and fish. Very pleased with this good meal, our first in Warsaw on this return trip.

One of my favorite experiences this restaurant, I like the way there are cooking live front of you , I’m forgot to take pic for our lunch 🥗 but over all experience was great also the price is good for us .

An excellent restaurant. We've gone there many times, both for lunch and dinner. They raised the prices, but we still like going because of the good food and service. The food is delicious. The oysters are fresh, rinsed. Quality and fresh Tar-tar, tasty onion soup. The dessert is lovely. Good service. Prices are in line with the high quality. My husband was served the main course first, then they brought the hot soup 10 minutes later. Then the service came over and started apologizing (although we didn't say anything and didn't complain) that they mixed up the hot and cold dishes. As a compliment of the restaurant they brought us 4 free desserts. Definitely will be back.

Excellent place for pescetarians and other sea food lovers. The food is outstanding, although comes with a slightly higher price tag, it worth every penny.

Cozy indoor decorations or bright cheerful patio... Both made you a great dinning experience in this restaurant. Nice to start with the fresh oysters, and dry aged steak should never be a miss. Reasonable price and how could you complain with a 90's classic Porsche display next to your table.

Food in the seafood area is very good, everything was tasty 😋 but if we talk about meat, I’m not sure, because another day we had burgers 🍔 and it was not good. I didn’t liked meat and the whole dish at all. Atmosphere is nice 👍🏼

Honestly the best restaurant in Warszawa. Everything tasted excellent and the service was always taking care and trying to make everything perfect. Everything on the menu is recommendable!

Group of 4, 3 glasses of wine, no appetizer and each of us took a different fish. The dishes will come with sides, salad and potato or bread. On a personal note, my fish was just decent, okay texture but with average taste. Had a bite of what the others ordered which was considerably better. (recommend to take the fish of the day) The place is comfortable and the service is good, will perhaps visit again to upgrade my rating.

Exclusive place with amazing atmosphere, great food, service and beautiful music played by 2 gentlemen on a summer terrace. I felt amazing there and will definitely be back next time when in Warsaw. Thank you!

🐟🎉 Absolutely satisfying variety of fish! The fish here was super fresh - talk about a taste of the sea in Poland. 🌊 However, the seafood selection like calamari, shrimp, and lobster, though good, didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of portion size and flavor. 🦑🦐 A bit of a letdown there, but still, if you're in Poland and craving some fresh and tasty fish, this is a charming spot to reel in a great meal! 🐠

Well, this was a great taste experience! We were 6 people. All of us were happy at the end. New-York steak, oven roasted duck, Der elefant burger, hummus, cocktails - everything was perfect and well-prepared. Plus, there was live music, that was a cherry on the top :) Service was a bit slow, but understandable as the restaurant was full. Interior is warm and comfortable. Will be back definitely!

Great restaurant with great atmosphere. We had fillet steak both times we visited and they were delicious. The trio of desserts was also very good. They have live jazz at 7pm on Friday nights which makes the atmosphere awesome.

Perfect place! very stylish, pleasant service, large menu and reasonable prices. We celebrated the holiday with a large group, it was very cool, we all liked it!

Being vegan, I can't praise enough seafood/fish restaurant for their delicious plant based options Truffle spaghetti was s a simple , elegant starter . It has been veganised on my request, so don't forget to ask your server to omit dairy. Buckwheat noodles with cauliflower steal and ree curry sauce was bit mild, bit still delicious. Earthy , nutty noodles go great with creamy curry sauce and firm cauliflower steak.

Beautiful seafood, fresh, you can sit right at the bar, enjoy some oysters while watching the chef's cooking. Also some very reasonable wines. Very nice and friendly staff

Der Elefant is one of the most iconic restaurants in Warsaw that I've been to. Our waiter was very dedicated and knowledgeable in the restaurant's menu and beverages. The food is sophisticated but at the same time high quality. The purposes of going to Der Elefant can be diverse. It is a good location for a date, a business meeting, or a simple dine-in. I recommend!

My favourite restaurant. Definitely recommend to try the French Onion Soup. Great steaks, burgers, drinks. Nice personnel. Recommended.

Suberb food, excellent service!

I was in this restaurant in mid-July. It has very nice atmosphere and good quality food. Interior design of the restaurant is really beautiful. The staff is very professional and friendly. Usually it is very difficult to have mixture of professionalism and friendliness but there was a good balance. This place is recommended for business dinners and nice events.

Without a doubt, one of the best steaks I've ever had. Every dish, and side dish, was delicious. The aged beef gives the steak such flavour and texture.

Great food and atmosphere. We had oysters for a starter and they were fresh and delicious, accompanied with a tart berry dressing. For main course we took the steak and seafood and shared. We had a vary nice evening with excellent food. Would recommend reservation since the restaurant was full.

Very nice restaurant. We booked in advance without any issue. If you book, they will give you the option to select 3 different "fixed" menus or you can order from the complete menu. I ordered the Polish dish "duck" and it was very good. However, some coworkers had issues with the "rare" steak.

Love this place. Delicious fish in the fish market, I highly recommend to try their "Meze". The regular restaurant inside also serves amazing steak and burgers. Stylish interior, and the prices are very reasonable, you get value for your money. One of the best spots in Warsaw.

Were there with work and spent the evening with a loong sitting with a total of 45 people. The starters were brilliant, seafood and stuff. But as we were such a big company, it took very long time to get through all courses.... But overall it was very nice

Asked for the sea food plate, Greek salad & chicken soup. I'll never come back to this restaurant, the food is not fresh at all, they must be fires the Chef works here. The chicken soup I got was with dried chicken 🤦🤦 All the sea food was like gummies not fresh at all.. I don't know how a place like this is getting such a high rate here in Google, It looks like the workers themselves make the reviews Don't go there!!!

I am gonna give 4 stars because the food is really amazing, absolutely worth the price to have a great culinary experience. (In my picture you can see the T-Bone Steak). However, unfortunately the service was very poor, our waiter while pouring wine drop partially on the table for almost everyone and walked way as he didn’t care; The atmosphere is very cozy.
