Let me say it upfront if this restaurant will not get a Michelin star next year it will be a huge disappointment. Epoka is a really well thought-through restaurant focused on old Polish cuisine, which couple hundred years ago happened to be quite intentional, and sourced ingredients that even for modern Poles today would be considered somewhat distinguished. From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel well taken care of. Menu is based on seasons, but not the astronomical rather the calendar ones with each dish executed with perfection. What makes each dish even more special is that it’s done by one person end-to-end - there’s no usual line kitchen divide by meats, veg etc. In Epoka it is divided by the dishes. All in all we really enjoyed our dinner there. What I can say is if you’re not very hungry go for the smaller menu, the full consist of ~17 dishes. Apart from the fabulous wine options Epoka has also great non-alcoholic beverage paring - if in doubt go for it! For me the best upscale restaurant in town. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the next edition of Michelin guide with Epoka having at least one star.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Epoka restaurant and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The first thing that struck me upon entering the restaurant was its unique interiors. The historical details were seamlessly blended with modern elements, creating a stunning ambiance that transported me to a different time. But it wasn't just the interiors that impressed me; it was the food that truly stole the show. Epoka restaurant offers a unique and modern interpretation of recipes from the past, presenting them in a way that feels both familiar and new. Their modern Polish cuisine is a true culinary journey through epochs, taking diners on a journey through the history of Polish cuisine. Every dish was meticulously crafted, with an attention to detail that was truly impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Epoka restaurant for anyone looking for a fine food experience that combines historical details with modern culinary techniques. Whether you're a foodie or just someone who appreciates good flavors, Epoka restaurant is sure to impress.

Excellent fine dining experience in Warsaw. We tried the ”full history” tasting menu which consists 15 items. The whole Epoka team was very friendly and demonstrated all areas including kitchen. Waiting a moment of time when this place will receive Michelin star.

Interesting concept, well executed and designed dishes, beautiful interior. Food was tasty and beautiful. We did 17 courses and each one was interesting, but possibly a bit too much food. Perhaps smaller portion sizes or just one salmon dish rather than two would be sufficient. Our favorites were the lamb tartar and the pate dish. SO good.

Such an amazing place! A real gastronomic experience. In my case, Im vegan, all dishes were adapted to my diet keeping the escense of the receipees and marinatinf the wines accordingly. Each time a new dish arrives at the table, someone provides a detailed explanation of its origin and how the dish was thought. The same with each wine.

Everything about Epoka is simply put amazing and is created only with the very best of things. The interior is unique, very luxurious, elegant, intimate, with beautiful attention to detail. From the moment you enter the restaurant you are treated like a special guest: full attention on your needs and wishes. The food is something I never had before. A real pleasure with some surprises and unbelievable great flavour / tastes. All in all, Epoka is a real pleasure for all senses!

This was a nice special suggestion from our hotel concierge! Located in the Europejski building, it is very central and we really liked and enjoyed the concept. The restaurant name refers to their concept. They read old Polish cooking books. Then they create a new interpretation of the dishes. Very friendly and welcoming Service! The dishes were also very good! We took the non alkoholic drink pairing and were very happy with it! I would recommend this restaurant.

Premium experience, able to have a chat with the chef, visit the kitchen, ask questions. Very good service and the food was pretty good although it was meat heavy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Epoka. Marcin and his staff were very welcoming and friendly and guided me through the history of the location and the food and patiently answered all my ignorant questions. The dishes of the tasting menu were exquisite and well paced. Each dish had a clear vision and it was especially interesting that they were based on old but exotic variants of the familiar Polish dishes. Of course the ingredients were of the highest quality and expertly prepared. I enjoyed that there were many layers of each dish to explore with each bite. I only have limited experience with fine dining, but I know that the next time I want to treat myself in Warszawa, I will come back.

One of the best Michelin recommended places I’ve been to - Including the 1-2 star ones. Amazing creations, great history to the food, amazing kind passionate attentive chefs, waiters and the whole team. And of course amazing taste. This place definitely deserves Michelin stars, most likely 2. Would want to come again. Worth visiting Warsaw just for this place. Made me happy

Currently, quite possibly the best fine dining restaurant in Poland. A bold statement, but throughout the years, we've been to it multiple times and it never goes below a certain (high) level, most of the times reaching at least two Michelin stars level of quality. The gimmick is that the dishes are modernized versions of old or ancient Polish cuisine. This works surprisingly well, adding a certain flavor to the experience -- and, especially for the Poles, an element of surprise. Turns out the ingredients we consider exotic, at a time were just a regular part of the local table. The presentation is immaculate and the flavors are godly. The wines deliver as well, and the pairing choice comes highly recommended. I will always advocate for adding at least one non-alcoholic pairing to the evening. In the case of Epoka, it's not "a back up plan for people who cannot drink", but an experience in itself. Simply the best non-alcoholic pairing we've ever experienced, and this is based on our fine dining adventures both in Poland and abroad. This is a chic, art deco locale, but there's no stiffness. The service is perfect, friendly but professional.

A gustatory and visual trip through Poland's culinary history, one may say often overlooked and filled with clichés. Here, Chef Marcin Przybysz has dusted off 'old food grimoires' to bring visitors with a crafty and tasty experience that with each plate takes us on a journey throughout Poland's rich yet still hidden cuisine for gastronomic aficionados outside Poland. Goldsmith work with every bite in a historical location. While not opting for the wine pairing, we fully revelled in this exquisite Solaris Turnau wine that was recommended to us. Bravo and regards from Belgium!

Unforgettable impressions after visiting this unique place. You can feel pampered from the moment you enter. The combination of flavors of dishes, top-class wines and a sophisticated interior design is breathtaking. The chef and all staff have their absolute contribution to creating the atmosphere of this place. I absolutely recommend it. The Epoka restaurat will steal the hearts of everyone who values good cuisine.

It's an impressive building, space and kitchen with all of the latest gadgets and everything new. Service is very "fine dining"-like, though the people are approachable. Sadly, the 20 recipe menu didn't really live up to expectations. For the price and chef's history you'd expect something more creative, but unfortunately it just didn't come. The food was pretty good overall but there just wasn't anything wow, which you should expect for the price. I hope the chef is able to get more comfortable and creative with the dishes if given enough time.

Amazing food. Stunning design. Super friendly staff that makes this place welcoming. And even though it's very elegant space - you don't feel intimidated. They are just there to make you feel good. And enjoy time spend with a top notch cuisine.

True and only foodie experience in Warsaw ! Epoka is not just restaurant , it's an experience. It's located in Raffles hotel building . Marcin Przybysz , chef takes you through culinary trip starting from a year 1682 to 1920. Polish cusine was very refine and not many know the history. We took the 20 dishes tasting menue . Every dish was so unique , delicious, and very artistic. You can also see the kitchen , meet the chef and hear the stories. The service is immecable , the interior is gorgeous with old and modern flare. Antoine, makes sures that you are taken care of . He is so polite , detailed oriented and such a high customer service that you would not get anywhere in Warsaw !!!

We visited the restaurant after recommendation from our hotel. The venue has a gorgeous modern interior dominated by velvet and marble. The staff was very friendly and relaxed, yet without being intruding. We arrived at 20:00 and chose for the 20 recipes menu with wine pairing. The food was absolutely delicious and the plating imaginative, definitely worth five stars for that! Staff explained each dish very well. Although the wines were entirely according to our taste, I was a little disappointed not to see any polish wines in the pairing. The staff explained that this was due to a preference for a good match rather than keeping to a specific region, which is a good enough reason to me. So, why not five stars? The evening felt rushed. Some of the staff spoke very fast (as he just wanted to get it over with) and there was rarely a second to breathe between dishes. Thus, the small break to showcase the history of the resto and the kitchen was appreciated. We definitely recommend a visit to Epoka, but see to that you arrive a bit earlier to leave some breathing room during your evening.

Epoka is a place worth recommending. You gonna be amazed with all details well thought-out. After few secondes spent there you feel enchanted, in love with this place. You feel like the outside world has ceased to exist. You forget about all you problems, you live in the moment. Perfection is also felt in the meals. Taste is splendid, lavish. Way of serving the dish is extraordinary, sometimes even breathtaking. Servis is extremely cordial and you can feel that their politeness is not fake. All of that create this outstanding ambiance, that you don't want to leave the place.

Definitely the best restaurant in Poland. Absolutely amazing food, very professional but relaxed staff, super friendly atmosphere, fantastic concept based on old polish recipes, exceptional wine pairing - every element carefully considered and refined. Guys from Michelin should reconsider their choices without awarding at least a star to Epoka…
