Big disappointment today. Drove for over an hour to get there only to be told at the gate that our activity has been cancelled due to strong wind. Now I understand the reasoning for this cancellation as it can be risky, this is not the problem. The fact that they did not send out any emails notifying paying customers of this cancellation or even a main page notice. We looked on the website after we were told and still could not find any notice of cancellation. I will go again as the venue looks good and will be a fun day out. Just the loss in time and money going there today that doesn't sit well with me. They should be proactive in informing us thats all. Update: After reaching out to them they added a story to their instagram notifying of the suspension due to high wind.

We visited for stand up paddle boarding and the party package - the activities were well organised but the food that is included was unfortunate and we waited quite long for it. The food stalls on site look great though, so I would recommend booking activities only and then deciding on food after.

Been here twice now, once for Stand up Paddleboarding and once for Bring Your Own SUP. Both times I noticed an atmosphere similar to a holiday park. Everything and everyone is chilled out and relaxed. Staff are friendly and helpful from the reception desk, bar, life guards and food vendors. Everything you need is on site; food, bar, showers, changing facilities, toilets and most importantly the lake and man-made beach. I shall definitely be bringing my SUP most weekends.

Fantastic experience for open water swimming, paddle boarding and the Aqua park is very well managed. Book in advance to avoid disappointment and queues. Excellent set up with a lovely bar area and hospitality marquees for shelter when it’s hot. Great for smaller events and parties. Lovely food from the Fully Loaded burger van and pizzas. Ava’s cafe has some great cakes, croissants, pastries and good coffee. All in all a great day our for the family.

This is a great no frills place for a wild swim. The water was quite warm for the time of year, watch out for the weeds, there seems to be alot round the edge and In the middle. They are very easy to avoid. It was very quiet when I was there. Take your own tow float and colorful swim hat to save money Changing area, toilets, lockers and outdoor cold showers provided. The cafe is expensive and also the water park is quite pricy. Also seemed very thin on staff, the toilets weren't very clean either. All in all I knew about this as I'd read the reviews before I went. I got what I wanted and I was happy. I had a great time and would definitely go again.

If you plan on camping at Caversham Lakes, then be prepared. No one will greet you upon entry, and you will be unlikely to meet any staff during your stay. The 2 available showers are cold which was actually nice for the heat wave that we went during, but isn't ideal on a usual day. There were 2 sinks running cold water (not such a big deal), but one of those sinks were blocked. We saw a review from over a week prior to our stay complaining about this. There are also 2 disgusting portable toilets. The staff didn't clean those either. The area itself looks like a dumping ground for people's old appliances, furniture and other rubbish. It seems as if they never actually maintain anything. The campsite itself is quite small, so expect to be bumper to bumper with other campers. I personally wouldn't recommend this a campsite.

Grandkids had a great time on the beach. Considering your not allowed to bring your own food then I feel there should be more food outlets available. Wasn't impressed with the toilets. Sinks dirty and no hand soap and unpleasant sewage smell. Didn't feel it met the covid regulations No hand sanitiser near toilets either

Fantastic day out. I went to the aqua park with my daughter while my wife relaxed by the shore and we all had great fun. Food was great there too and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing and the site clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and the aqua park was well staffed with lifeguards helping and a safety briefing and lifevests provided. Thoroughly recommend. Dog friendly too which was great and it had a huge car park.

First time visitor, enjoyed the aqua Park. We had an injury on the course that was quickly and efficiently helped out by the lifeguards who were great! . The changing rooms are one big room (no cubicles). The only let down was the toilets, they were disgusting and the smell of sewage was awful 🀒

Perfect place to do fun water activities with the family. Make sure you bring your own padlock and be aware the changing rooms are just a shack so if your a shy kinda guy maybe get changed in your car. Carpark is absolutley horrific so RIP fancy car owners.

Why are the floating rafts nearly always covered in bird mess? Brought the kids for a swim this evening and they were not able to jump off of the rafts due to the thick layer of mess on them. Such a shame, would have made a difference.

Awful! They emailed me a week before saying that 7pm wasn't available... and then 2 hours before arrival told me it was closed and to contact Groupon to get my refund. Ruined a birthday! DONT BOOK
