Me
and
my
husband
bought
Acer
laptop
on
sale.
When
we
arrived
at
the
house,
my
husband
realised
that
the
part
of
the
cable
(the
one
connected
to
the
electrical
socket)
was
missing,
and
that
the
little
plastic
bag
containing
it,
was
torn.
He
then
went
back
to
the
store,
and
they
gave
him
the
missing
cable.
Back
home,
we
wanted
to
do
the
laptop
set
up,
but
we
were
unable
to
because
there
was
somebody
else’s
profile
already
set
up.
The
profile
was
also
password
protected.
I
then
went
back
to
the
store
(that
would
be
our
3rd
time),
to
ask
for
a
solution.
The
salesman
gave
me
the
password
and
mentioned
that
the
laptop
could
have
been
used
as
a
demo
laptop.
So,
I
have
been
sold
a
used
computer
in
guise
of
a
new
one.
When
I
arrived
home,
I
have
phoned
the
salesman
and
explained
that
according
to
the
consumer
law,
I
have
a
right
to
receive
the
new
product,
if
this
product
has
been
sold
as
such.
Salesman
has
talked
to
his
manager,
who
said
that
because
the
laptop
had
been
on
sale,
he
could
not
offer
us
any
compensation.
I
tried
to
explain
to
the
salesman
that
the
laptop
was
on
sale
not
because
it
was
used,
but
because
it
was
put
on
sale
during
the
sales
period.
The
salesman
was
sympathetic
but
couldn’t
do
much.
When
I
asked
to
talk
to
the
manager,
after
few
min,
he
told
me
the
manager
was
extremely
busy
and
in
a
meeting.
I
then
called
Krefel
customer
service
who
told
me
they
only
handle
on
line
complaints
(even
though
that
doesn’t
seem
to
be
accurate)
and
they
sent
me
to
fill
out
the
on
line
form.
The
way
the
customers
are
treated
in
this
shop
is
absolutely
inacceptable-legally
and
ethically.
Me
and
my
husband
were
very
good
clients
at
Krefel
but
it
seems
like
we
will
have
to
change
shops.
