This
hospital
refused
to
give
care
to
my
father
after
he
had
broken
his
collar
bone
because
he
was
not
insured
at
the
time.
He
is
a
pastor
and
the
church
treasurer
was
there
and
we
were
prepared
to
pay
for
his
visit
in
cash,
but
the
nurses
went
back
and
forth
to
the
doctors
on
call
that
evening
and
we
were
told
that
they
were
all
‘unavailable.’
Not
a
single
doctor
came
in
to
his
room.
They
said
that
they
could
provide
us
with
referrals
to
an
orthopaedist
but
unfortunately
because
we
had
no
insurance,
the
best
they
could
do
was
give
my
dad
an
ibuprofen.
This
was
pre-covid
and
over
a
year
ago
but
my
family
and
I
were
sitting
together
and
just
talking
about
this
and
I
realized
I
never
wrote
a
review.
Holy
Name
Hospital
has
a
billboard
on
Rt.
4,
advertising
how
the
quality
of
care
there
is
second
to
none...
how
their
patients
come
first,
and
every
time
I
drive
past
it
I
boil
with
anger.
Everyone
deserves
to
know
what
kind
of
institution
this
is.
They
will
turn
you
away,
refuse
any
sort
of
care.
Not
even
take
scans.
Instead
they
will
take
your
vitals,
give
you
some
ibuprofen
and
still
charge
you
$1700.
The
doctors
and
nurses
that
evening
did
not
care
about
medicine
or
treating
patients.
They
couldn’t
see
past
the
possibility
of
not
being
paid
for
their
time.
A
disgrace.
