The beer here is high quality and brewed with love. Food= BYO. I asked the bartender and he said that's the only way eat and drink responsibly and i agree. So bring food and have a blast! I love the pastry stouts. I'll be back soon-

Thrilled to visit yet another brewery in Hackesack NJ. I enjoyed it immensely compared to a negative experience at a recently opened brewery 8 miles to the north. Very sociable and knowledgeable beer tenders are the key to a successful brewery. If a customer tells me "I come for the atmosphere" and knows nothing about the beer, I'm out! The brewery does not offer food but there are several restaurants nearby including two pizzerias.

What a fantastic brewery! Mike was as friendly and helpful as can be. They had a very large variety of beer types, so your almost certain to find something to your liking regardless of your preferences. This is unusual and a refreshing change from most breweries, which tend to heavily revolve around one specific style. Everything I tried was delicious. Lots of seating (despite the place being very busy for a Wednesday night). The prices were also very affordable for beer of this caliber. I will definitely be back many times.

It is the one of coolest brewery. Bring your own food and enjoy the best beer selections. Entry is from Johnson ave (look for the small sign after no:76 building) and there is a small driveway which takes you to the place. There is parking lot in front of the building (I think total 10-12 car capasity) Loved the coconut beer

The beer was excellent but the sitting area was not nice at all. I love porter beer and was so happy to try theirs. I even purchase some to bring home. It’s a good idea to bring your own food or snacks.

One of my closest friends Maria invited me & it was a great time. A place where everyone from every background can kick back and feel comfortable. Everyone is super friendly. So many strangers just randomly walked up to me to strike up a conversation. Great Music & even better Vibes. And even if you're NOT a huge beer drinker, they have something FOR YOU. I don't remember the name, but there was this purplish beer that was so dang on good I had to get THREE lol. Old school 90's hip hop vibe is how I can best describe the Vibes. Think Grand Puba & A Tribe Called Quest. EXCELLENT FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF I'll definitely be back soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS!

I had a really good time there. I went to try Lord Sear's new nola beer. Mike the owner was really cool. I like the spot. It has a nice outdoor section in tvs inside for the games. I'll def be back

I've been coming here for years now. Mike and his staff are great and all very knowledgeable about the beer. One thing to remember in New Jersey you need to bring your own food to breweries because they cannot serve food. The staff keeps a ton of menu's behind the bar for local restaurants that deliver. You can also walk to a few places near by.

We hosted a party at Hackensack Brewing. Booking was extremely simple and uncomplicated. Mike and the entire staff were endlessly accommodating, even on a busy Saturday. They reserved our space, put out an extra table for us, and adjusted the music volume as needed. They were a constant and pleasant presence. We were allowed to bring our own food and decorate the space. Everybody in our group was impressed by the drinks and ambiance. An incredible, hidden gem!!!

Beertender was super nice and gave us recommendations for our new town since we just moved here from the west coast. Tons of beers on draft. Movies playing inside and music as well. Popcorn smells amazing! Indoor and outdoor seating available with umbrellas for shade. Parking is somewhat limited. Really enjoyed the Parking Lot Pils and the Kolsh. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great beer and even better service! First, they have a wide selection of styles. Some places, it's just a bunch of IPA's, but not Hackensack. They cover the spectrum. I ordered some beers to go to take down to the beach. When I arrived at the pick up time, the gentleman manning the counter went to pack up the cans. He came back looking confused and confirmed that I had ordered all of these from the website and not over the phone. He said several of the beers were not available and shouldn't have been listed on the website. One apparently hadn't been in stock for over 6 months. He was very apologetic and asked if he could substitute with similar beers which was fine. They were all new to me anyways. To make up for the website he mistake, he threw in a four or five extra beers! Can't wait to go back and actually sit around the beer garden. Beers were all excellent.

Awesome staff and beers! The new chipotle-infused blonde is stellar. Very cool hip-hop heavy taproom and a great selection to go. I wish I had remembered to bring a growler (or three)! I'm very much looking forward to sitting down with their anniversary ales.
