Highly recommend checking out CM Chicken if you're in the mood for some of the best Korean fried chicken. The portions are large and super tasty. The staff is really friendly and make sure you enjoy your meal and dining experience. My partner and I had the Soy Garlic Tikku and Green Onion chicken with wedge fries. Both were fantastic! Also, the traditional Korean Iced Tea was delicious.

I have been waiting for this to open and I am not disappointed. I got the CM soy garlic burger. The chicken was delicious and moist. It was not overly sauced. The bun was soft in all the right places with that nice firm outer shell. The fries were good as well but a little on the salty side. I would suggest asking if they can reduce the salt. They were properly crispy and not saturated in oil. I will be going back again tonight for dinner to try just the chicken. Can't wait!

This place has been getting a lot of buzz lately, which can cut both ways - it may very well be worth the hype, but it just as often means it's overrated to some degree. Thankfully CM Chicken is more of the former. I stopped by here for lunch yesterday (a Friday afternoon). The restaurant was completely deserted save a handful of employees, and the fellow behind the counter seemed mildly surprised that I wanted to eat in (I got the impression from the customers who came in during my visit that this is almost exclusively a takeout establishment during weekday lunchtimes). It's a nice basement space that you access from the street via a flight of stairs - constructive feedback, that was starting to look a little rickety and could use an upgrade. The two TVs on the wall were airing K-Pop music videos, so if you don't like eating with Dance Dance Revolution music playing in the background, this might not be for you. I don't like bones in my meat unless it's ribs, so I opted for the soy garlic chicken tenders ($15 or $16). Very generous portion; I was pretty hungry coming in so I was able to devour it in one sitting, but you could easily make this into two meals. The flavor was amazing, and the meat itself extremely juicy/tender. I'm always slightly leery of Korean BBQ because it's so easy to feel disgusting after eating it (that's a genre that's never going to be mistaken for health food), but I walked out feeling pleasantly full and not uncomfortable. My recommendation would be to avoid getting any type of side with this - I'm sure a few extra bites here would have tipped the scales literally and figuratively for me. The food came out within five or 10 minutes, and the service was exceptional - it definitely helps that nobody else was in there, but the guy behind the counter/waiter was attentive without being overbearing and got the check for me probably within 30 seconds of consuming my last bite. Doesn't get much better than that. I wasn't even halfway done with my meal before I reached out to a friend who lives nearby to alert them to this recommendation. Don't sleep on this place - it's not a hidden gem, but it is a gem nonetheless.

A unique fried chicken restaurant, with variety of taste and style to pick from. When we arrived at the restaurant, I was surprised to see it’s in the basement. The entrance looks a bit shady, as the 1st floor is out of business, and the staircase hallway are somewhat rusty and unappealing. So the initial impression lacks the wow factor. But the inside of the restaurant is pretty cool. They created marvelous atmosphere with sound colors, furnitures, picture frames, and of course playing k-pop on two tvs. Food wise their menu has half a dozen variety of fried chickens, burgers, sides and drinks. I tried the soy and garlic fried chicken. Liked the soy more. But in both cases the fried layer was too thick for me. I liked the onion rings way more than the plain french fries. Those fries need some more seasoning. Though it took them sometime to prepare the order, we did have a wonderful host, taking our order with plenty of patience.

This is downstairs with a bit of a courtyard for outdoor seating. When you enter there are 2 tv screens on the wall playing Kpop. BTS was on the one with no sound and the other was Rocket Punch with sound. Very enjoyable. The atmosphere is very nice. Off to the right are these sofa type seating. The chairs and tables are a bit medieval style. Straight to the back is like a cafeteria type of area in front of the kitchen. I ordered the Cheese Monster Tender, waffle fries and a Diet Pepsi. My guest had the original fried tender, onion rings and Pure Leaf Lemon Iced Tea. We also had the mozzarella sticks and some curly fries. The sides were large! Mozzarella sticks were 9 to an order and served with marinara sauce. With the chicken they served celery and carrots with ranch dressing and pickled Korean radishes. The radishes were so tasty. Sweet and sour tasting. I don't like radishes but I loved these! The cheesy monster chicken tenders were served with a cheese sauce that was a bit too spicy for me. The chicken had cheese powder on it that was so tasty. The chicken had a very mild bite! So crunchy and juicy! They give you a pound of chicken in a serving! Absolutely amazing! I couldn't finish everything so a to go back was given! The staff, Eric, was very friendly and great with explaining the menu and items delivered to the table. He walked over a couple times to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. On the table they have a container for your trash, which makes cleanup very easy and no wing bones on the plate! This was a very enjoyable experience that I'm thrilled Yelp Elite introduced me to! I can't wait to bring my 2 nieces here that are very into the Korean foods, lifestyle, and culture! It's quite the experience!

The food is so great, had to bring some friends here. Best fries I’ve ever tried hands down. They were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The soy garlic wings always are a banger too. The flavor just… mwah 😊🤌 It was one of my friends first time eating there and he didn’t know how to use chopsticks and never had. The guy who worked there even taught him how to which made my friends day sm! It’s very beautiful inside too, and very uplifting, nice music. I always feel welcomed when I’m in there, positive energy always.

I have had this place on my radar for some time and was so excited to try it out finally. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady. She took my order and told me what I could get. I went with the chicken wings with the spicy garlic sauce on the side, calamari and a lemonade. I waited about 15 minutes or so for my food to come out. When finished I grabbed my food and left. When I got home I dug in and the chicken and sauce was very good. I didn't, however like the calamari. It wasn't seasoned to my liking and wasn't fried hard enough so I didn't eat it. Besides that I did enjoy my experience.
