The GOAT of Taiwanese spots! I almost don’t want to share to keep it hidden. This is if your Taiwanese popo was selling food. $8 for Lu Rou fan?? $1 for ice milk tea? Delicious ! Hearty! Kind on your wallet Ps: If you order doordash you can only get the beef stew (which is amazing but I included a menu to see what’s in the shop)

One of the best braised taiwanese braised pork (5/5) second only to Antidote in NYC. The pork has intense soy and umami flavor while also being tender, fatty, and very filling. They also give you an extremely excellent portion for only $8 - what a deal. The people here who work here are also so sweet. I highly recommend!

Found this place on social media. It’s a hole in the wall restaurant in a middle of industrial businesses. The Taiwanese braised pork with rice was so good. The pork was tender, full of flavor and juicy. The white rice was recommended to complement the dish and it definitely did work. A hot milk tea definitely completed the meal along with 3 different dumplings consisting of pork, beef and shrimp. The beef dumplings was definitely my favorite. It was the juiciest out of the three.

highly rec the beef noodle soup, beef is super tender and the broth is very flavorful! We also tried the kimchi and pumpkin dumplings (reviewed positively online) and though it’s an interesting flavor, taste-wise, it was just okay and a little oily. Love a pou and her little shop, humble and cozy but maybe it was not a good day to come because service was very slow, we were waiting for 2 hours (with not a lot of customers) and still didn’t get served one of the dishes we ordered at the end (卤肉饭). I’d come back again in the future to support her and try other dishes, hope she gets more worker to help her out!

One of the best hole in the wall food spots I've been to in NY. The owner is the sweetest and her food is phenomenal. Best braised pork I've ever hard. I got a plate of braised pork, 5 potstickers, and milk tea for just $13

We were in the area and came here after reading the reviews. This place is truly a hidden gem, hole in the wall. The appearance can be deceptive, don’t expect a fancy restaurant. Come here for authentic food, served with love. We ate fried bean curd with rice. Their hot chilli oil is amazing.

Granny is so sweet and a true delight. She pulled up a chair and sat at my table to take my order. Granny declined to note an item I had ordered citing I had already ordered too much food and would not be able to finish everything. Lol. She was right, the potstickers were amazing and filling! This restaurant is hood hidden gem. Please don't come here if you're not hungry and please don't come here if you're expecting red carpets, upholstered leatherback seats, ambient lighting or other exaggerated foo-foo frills.

Great lunch and dinner spot, I got the Korean Kimchi Beef dumplings and the Beef Noodle Soup. The beef in the noodle soup was perfectly tender and flavorful.

Super authentic Taiwanese food!!! The braised pork over rice and beef noodle soup are delicious😍 The A-Pou is so nice and reminds me of my own grandma The atmosphere is so nice too. Just like a typical Taiwanese local restaurant playing Taiwanese music too
