student
athlete
battling
numerous
shoulder
and
back
injuries,
not
only
from
my
sport
but
also
from
the
weight
of
my
breasts
I
knew
I
needed
to
take
the
next
step
in
terms
of
pain
management/
relief
aside
from
my
routine
appointments
with
my
chiropractor,
massage
therapist,
and
orthopedic
surgeon.
Being
so
young,
it
was
intimidating
to
make
such
a
major
life
changing
decision
and
start
the
process
of
a
mammoplasty
(breast
reduction).
I
knew
this
surgery
would
help
me
be
able
to
move
forward
and
recover
from
my
injuries
while
simultaneously
boosting
my
confidence.
I
started
calling
offices
in
Philadelphia,
New
York,
New
Jersey,
etc
to
ensure
I
received
the
best
care
possible.
However,
the
offices
I
called
initially
did
not
call
me
back,
were
not
taking
new
patients,
and
did
not
even
attempt
to
try
insurance
companies.
I
felt
hopeless.
Something
that
I
felt
was
the
only
thing
to
help
me
relieve
my
pain
and
self
consciousness
was
not
going
to
happen
until,
I
stumbled
upon
Rowe
Plastic
Surgery.
I
requested
a
call
on
their
website
and
they
called
me
soon
after
the
request.
The
staff
understood
that
I
was
young,
lived
two
and
a
half
hours
away
from
the
office,
and
that
I
needed
help
to
move
in
the
right
direction.
After
that
phone
call,
I
was
scheduled
a
video
and
in
person
consult
with
Dr.
Charles
Pierce.
During
the
appointments,
Dr.
Pierce
was
very
thorough
and
professional.
He
educated
me
on
the
different
types
of
procedures
he
could
do,
what
would
best
fit
my
individual
needs,
and
made
me
feel
comfortable.
Both
Dr.
Pierce
and
his
staff
truly
advocated
for
me
as
a
patient
when
dealing
with
the
insurance
companies,
understanding
that
I
was
young
and
scared,
and
also
that
I
have
a
commitment
to
athletics
at
the
collegiate
level.
In
a
short
span
of
time,
the
staff
scheduled
my
ideal
surgery
date
and
ensured
that
I
was
prepared
for
surgery.
Eventually,
the
surgery
date
came
around
I
was
not
scared.
I
knew
that
I
was
in
good
hands.
Now
that
I
am
three
months
post
op,
I
can
proudly
say
that
I
am
so
lucky
that
I
found
Rowe
Plastic
Surgery,
Dr.
Pierce,
and
his
staff.
The
work
they
did
was
absolutely
seamless.
My
life
has
completely
changed
in
such
a
positive
way.
As
a
collegiate
athlete,
I
have
been
able
to
combat
the
injuries
I
sustained
previously
which
I
was
not
really
able
to
do
before
the
surgery.
Now
when
I
part
take
in
my
sport
I
am
able
to
enjoy
it
and
elevate
my
skills
and
talents
to
the
next
level
which
is
something
I
never
thought
I
could
achieve.
As
a
21
year
old
woman,
I
finally
feel
comfortable
in
my
clothes
and
have
found
a
new
sense
of
confidence
and
do
not
have
limits
placed
on
what
I
can
wear.
I
find
myself
being
able
to
indulge
in
more
exciting
adventures
and
activities
and
truly
enjoy
them
which
I
felt
I
couldn’t
do
before.
I
just
wanted
to
give
a
special

Allison

and

for
