Overall rating: 4.75 I ended up having a large breakfast, so just had a snack here but the samosas were very good. I LOVED the mango lassi!! The samosas are great but very hot. I think I had to wait a good 7-10 minutes before they cooled down. While I only had two items, the service was so so nice. So nice & friendly it was very noticeable. Some of the menu items were a tad too expensive for menu, but definitely want to come back with a friend or a date. Highly recommend.

Nice place. Clean and well maintained. Definitely a hidden gem in NYC. Their samosa chaat and momos are fantastic! The sauces that came with the papad in the beginning was really good. The sauces that came with the momos were okay. The service was good and the ambience was great! And surprisingly all of this was about 45usd.

Everything you desire for Indian food. Flavors were robust and exactly as expected. Nothing wowed me enough for 5 stars but this is a local favorite as shown by about 15 to-go pickups in and out in the 30 minutes we dined there.

The waiter we had was very nice and attentive! Their all-day special is such a great deal, appetizer, main, & a choicr of dessert or side for $23.95. Was so full we had food to bring home!

Genuinely some of the best Indian/Himalayan food I’ve had. Unbeatable special- includes appetizer, entree, rice, and either naan or a dessert for $23.95. Our server was extremely attentive and so sweet. Would return just for her! Our cups never went below below the halfway mark. Cool atmosphere, dark and quiet.

Went to this place for dinner. The place has indoor and outdoor seating available. The service was quick from taking order to get food served. Tried the Paneer Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan from their menu. The overall food taste was good for a local Indian restaurant in the city. We had asked them to make the gravy spicy but it wasn’t that spicy. Their Naan’s were super soft and one of the good ones I have eaten so far. We selected the outdoor seating option and it smelled a bit bad from the water flowing through the sides of the street (but it’s NYC, so expect that).

I just tried Sathi for the first time and it was fantastic. I went with friends and we did the price fix menu which got each of us an appetizer, a main entree, rice, and either a side or desert. We all got something different and shared everything. The vegetable samosas and pakora were both delicious. As for the mains, we had Chana masala, which was great. We also had butter paneer which I had never had before but quite enjoyed. We had vegetable korma as well and while I thought the sauce was good, there was a decent bit of broccoli in it which I thought was kind of weird. We got garlic naan, paneer naan, and Dahl soup as sides all of which were enjoyed. They ended up comping dessert for all of us which was very nice. Sathi also serves beer and wine and we enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with our meal. We sat outside in their enclosed seating which is also heated. Our waiter was very friendly and happily answered any questions we had. All of our food came out promptly. Prices were reasonable, the price fixed option was like $24 before tip. The wine was like $34 for the bottle. The vegetarian entrees are priced lower than most of the meat entrees which I always appreciate. All in all I had a great time here and would definitely come back. My friends and I all left feeling perfectly satiated.

I love going to this little hidden gem! Their lunch menu is a great deal. They offer two meats with one defaulted to Chicken Tikka Marsala or a vegetarian option and the other of your choice. The choices are vast! After picking your mains, you can also choose naan or rice. I opted for the rice but my coworker chose the naan. Boy, I wish I got the naan instead because it was freshly baked. Highly recommend the naan as it was charred on the outer layer and very soft when you bite into it. My dish has the Tikka Marsala and Lamb Saag. No wonder that Tikka Marsala was one of the defaults because it was delicious! You could just eat the sauce alone. I wanted to lick the bowl! The Lamb Saag was average. I wish I could adjust the spiciness level on the mains as I prefer a bit of a kick. These two dishes were very mild in terms of spicy level. The restaurant is small but average for NYC. I wish they had turned up the heat a bit or get door insulation in the winter time as there were drafts coming into the restaurant while we dined. Pros: - Great value for lunch - No wait - Attentive staff - Naan was freshly baked - Tikka Marsala was creamy Cons: - A bit cold indoor - Did not offer to adjust the spicy level
