Specialty cocktails: the Rainbow Cookie Martini was So Good... but be careful not to drink too much, unless you're not driving and don't have to work the next day. The small plate sharing was fun as you get to experience more of the menu options. The Brussels Sprouts, Risotto Meatballs, and Truffle Fries were all very good. The Butternut Squash and Kale salad was Fabulous!!

Been coming here for at least a decade, and now I bring my baby girl with me! Everything is amazing, but I always get the truffle artichokes, the salmon, and the shrimp, scampi, toast! My true favorites, and then whatever drink is in season… This time I tried the rainbow cake martini and I could’ve taken a bath in it! So good can’t go wrong with anything here everything is fantastic scratch made.

It was our first time at Spuntino, we had a great time there. Christian was very pleasant and informative with the menu. The appetizers, food and drinks were delicious. Would recommend and would come again.

The wine flights were amazing!!! They have a huge collection, obviously as they are a wine bar! You can mix and match for your flight! The beer was surprisingly yumm as well. They are known for the tapas, as the name suggests they have small plates, so you can order a lot of dishes and sit back and enjoy! The artichoke sides were full of flavors, the pasta was kind of bland, you may want to ask for cheese and chili flakes! Overall it was a fancy beautiful ambiance restaurant with good food! 🥘

Absolutely THE MOST DELICIOUS pasta I have ever eaten! I had them add shrimp. We were traveling from NYC to Indiana and searched Google for Italian restaurant. I would travel back to eat again, almost! Servings look small, but with the olive bread...way filling! Olive bread! Also amazing! And beautiful atmosphere!

Unassuming from the outside and pleasantly surprised on the inside. Rustic interior opens up to a flavorful dining experience. The drinks were good and the meal even better. Everything was plated very visually appealing and teased your senses before taking that first taste. Well done!

We were here for the first time on February 14th and we decided to try their special menu for Valentine's Day and this menu was very tasty. The service was not bad , we made a table reservation one day in advance. the only strange moment was with the flight wine, we took 2 types of flight wine, but the waiter did not warn us that these were only 3 red wines (not rosé, not white and not red) but 3 red wines, and we received 6 types of red wine - it was so-so.. :( because we expected 1 rose,1 white,1 red . Although the waiter knew that it was our first time here

An awesome wine selection with a tapa style food choices. From the lamb chops to the bruschetta everything was great. The ambience is also great. I was a bit dissatisfied on the overpowering of olives on the calamari but besides that I recommend this place for a good night out!

It’s hard to choose a favorite restaurant with so many local options, but this one is it. I really love this place. I haven’t been let down yet, and I’ve visited plenty of times in the past. The classic exterior leads to a themed and fitting interior. Inside, the crew and food are great. There are a bunch of dishes I would recommend. The new olive bread is a great addition to the menu, the piccante and margherita pizzas are a must order, a majority of pastas are good, and the carne is also a great option. Beside the food, reception and table workers are always nice and the food comes out on time. Don’t take my word for it; give this place a shot.

As some reviews before me, I would say this place is a solid 3 star restaurant and that is only because its personnel goes above and beyond. I had to move the reservation I made an hour earlier and they accommodated my party and I very quickly. The host, general manager and waiter were fantastic! I have only nice things to say about them, they were fantastic. The decoration and ambiance are beautiful and they have a great selection of wine. As we are not wine connoisseur we went with a sangria which was surprisingly tasty. Unfortunately, for us, we were expecting a more authentic italian flavor which was missed. The food lacked flavor, it was bland and there wasn’t a salt shaker in sight to save us. Like the restaurant name suggests, we were expecting small plates, “tapas” , but some of these dishes were ridiculous. The bruschettas are 1 slice of bread, the cesar salad was lettuce and 1 piece of Parmesan crisp, no dressing. The mixed grill was overcooked and bland. The spaghetti carbonara had tomatoes and peas. The salmon is 1/4 of a salmon filet, it’s just ridiculous for the price. We won’t be returning.

Amazing food, romantic atmosphere, and superb service. Tonight we enjoyed the Valentine's tasting menu and wine pairing. Highly recommend!

I finally took my wife to eat here and she loved it. I've always loved it. Such great food and tappas is our thing because we love to try many things so this was great. Will definitely be returning.

It’s been a while since I had been here. They changed the interior. Very nice inside. Most plates are tapas style. Small plates. My lobster ravioli was delicious. Our drinks delicious. I did not like the eggplant meatballs. It had a strong aftertaste. I thought the plates were overpriced for their size. The zeppolis were a bit too lemony for my liking. The restaurant was not packed so I can’t say if it was fast or not. The server was very nice and made some recommendations

Whent to Spuntino for a nice meal before a movie and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, everything was super fresh and tasty. The wait staff was very pleasant and profesional. The dishes all came out relatively quickly and the servings where a good size. If you decide to drop by then I hope you enjoy.

Great food, even better service. We live a few blocks away and had been driving by/looking at the spot for years. Finally decided to try it for a quick date night and it exceeded all expectations! The host was wonderful and our server Tori was one of the best we’ve ever had - knowledgeable, prompt, and sweet! We can’t wait to come back.

The food is delicious but the quantity is embarrassingly disproportionate to the price. I got the roasted squash and arugula salad for $13.5 (see the pic). They spread it over a rectangular plate so it looks like more, but as you can see, it's about $3 worth of food with 100% markup when I push it all to one side of the plate. I probably won't do tapas here again.

The cheeseboard was delicious! We got a mix of different plates to try a variety since it was our first time there. I was not too impressed with the Marina sauce used on the pasta, but the truffle fries, and bruschetta were delicious! Most of their serving would be considered small for most since we are used to big servings so keep that in mind.

We started with the Truffle menu and worked through several other dishes along with several of the Holiday drinks. Truffle menu was well done with standouts like the truffle burrata, fig & truffle bruschetta and truffle pasta! Our server was fantastic and elevated our evening with suggestions and fresh drinks! Great job!

Came to Spuntino for the first time with my husband and we were instantly seated and then greeted by Gia. She was excellent informative, kind, attentive. She offered exceptional customer service. Loved the ambiance and the food was so good and the wine selections it’s no surprise why Spuntinos is great. Overall fantastic experience we will be returning.

Bar service was satisfactory. Pizza and wine flight was excellent. Main courses definitely need an improvement. Was very disappointed with the salmon taste and pasta portions.

Came here for a date night and we didn't know what to expect but we left full and very satisfied. Set up a reservation through OpenTable and we were immediately sat in a nice corner table. Service was a little slow but very thorough and was not a distraction. We started with the meat and cheese dish, then the rest of the order made its way on to the table. We took advantage of the Monday wine special which was 50% a selection of various bottles. We finished off with a donut/zepoli dessert and left happy. We would definitely come back here.

The food was on point and the service was excellent. Our waiter kept a smile on his face the whole time and was very nice. I definitely recommend this place.

Found this gem, while my friend and I were looking for places to eat before the movie. So glad we dined here — everything was SO GOOD! Since the dishes were all served in tapas style, we each shared 2 different types of bruschettas (grilled shrimp scampi & seared tuna), charcuterie board, truffle french fries, and pane fritto & prosciutto. Since this place was known to be a wine bar, we knew we had to get the wine flight. Definitely was a good choice, since all the wine we tasted were delicious. We had the time to wine down, which came with white/rosé/red wines Server was super nice and the manager was informative and an absolute pleasure to speak with as I was discussing party events with him. If you’re in the clifton area and looking for a great wine bar + italian tapas restaurant to try before the movies, definitely check this place out!!

My friend and I had a positively tasty lunch here. Our waiter, Ceclio, was so upbeat and engaging. Also, he made an excellent wine suggestion. This restaurant is worth a visit.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at Spuntino in Clifton, NJ. I was there about three weeks ago and the bartender Ava was outstanding. Ava’s service was kind, harmonious and she was knowledgeable of everything the establishment had to offer. Today I returned expecting the same gracious dining experience from before and I was dumbfounded by Lexy’s (Bartender) initial approach to my arrival. She was extremely rude to a guest I was with and was very dismissive when I decided to grab my things and dine elsewhere. She insisted that I have a seat at a table and when I politely declined she sucked her teeth, shrugged her shoulders and responded “well then, ok”. As a well known mixologist in some of NYC’s most prestigious Michelin star restaurants, I’m extremely disappointed with the way Lexy represented the brand and the team at Spuntino as a whole. I’m baffled knowing that despite such a great first time experience, this was the outcome of my return.

I know it is a chain, but this place is consistently very good. Ambience is great and service is really good too. Prices are reasonable. A glass of wine is an excellent portion size.

We love this place so much! It is the perfect place for lunch/dinner with friends or family. I have had work functions there as well. Just wonderful atmosphere, exceptional food, and the finest servers around: Tammy, Laura and Ava are our favs! Save room for the tiramisu cheesecake!!! We devoured it before I could take a pic! Lol

Popped in her for a quick drink and small snack. Fantastic environment, great place to take a wine lover and place to grab a bottle or dinner.
