Love this place! My Brothers and I frequent this business often. Great food, deserts, and atmosphere to just sit and chill. You can even play dominos 😁

Great food and great people. I arrived as they were closing so kitchen was closed but instead of just turning me away, the lady who I believe is the owner, gave me a bunch of epanadas that were not sold, for free. This shows that they make fresh food daily and do not sell leftovers. This explains why their food is great. I am not endorsing them because I recieved something for free but simply because their food tastes good.

Very good. Hard to find good Puerto Rican food in northern NJ. I had white rice, pink beans and pernil. Rice was perfect. Beans had great texture were a bit light on salt but, still good. Pernil had good flavor. Had an alcapurria (see pic). It was more dough than substance. I will pass on this. Also had a cheeseburger empanada (see pic). I was surprised that they are baked because Puerto Ricans fry them. I will not hold it against them because it was excellent. I enjoyed it very much. Prices are fair. I will definitely come back.

Empanada Spanish Grill catered our company Holiday Party. The staff was so accommodating and easy to work with. The food arrived exactly at the agreed upon time. The food was outstanding, authentic Spanish food. Everyone raved about the taste and quality of it. We will definitely be calling Empanada Spanish Grill for future events. A big thank you goes out to your dedicated staff. Best regards, Dianne K. Cording Landscape Construction Midland Park, NJ

Finally, a Puerto Rican restaurant to rave about. Came here on a whim with my mom and grandmother around 6 pm (they close at 7 pm). They lady at the counter, Chachi, attended us and was super nice. We told her it was our first time... she did explain that since they were closing, certain items were not going to be available, such as fried sides as they were cleaning the fryer. Not a problem! They typically have different items each day. However, what they do have daily is peril(shredded pork), chicken, rice, and habichuelas (red or black beans). My mom and I had the Pernil with white rice and Habichuelas Rojas. We cleaned up our plates! It's as if I were back on the island. The taste was amazing. My grandmother had the chicken Empanadas and their baked chicken. She loved it. We will be back. My mom was so happy we found this gem! Thank you for keeping the taste authentic! Puerto Rico vive! 🇵🇷

Our dinner was delicious. They have a wide variety of empanadas (as you might expect). Each of us was able to find something to our liking. The beef stew, the roasted chicken and the chorizo dinners with rice and beans made for a delightful dinner, and the price was reasonable.

The food is next to abuelas comida(grandma's food). I go here whenever I need a home cooked meal and need my soul warmed. Their food never disappoints and can put a smile on any face. Please keep cooking with the love that shows in the quality.

Cute little family-run spot, with great empanadas and home-style cooking. I usually get the special - a plate of meat like pernil (pork), beef stew, or BBQ-sauced goodness, with rice and beans - you can mix and match from what they have that day. You get a lot of food for the money. Also a great selection of Latin American sodas and homemade hot sauces. Plus the family that runs it are delightful folks.

My sister and I had the empanadas needed more cooking and flavor. However, the young lady who served us was so awesome.

These empanadas are delicious and the customer service is great. Patiently answered our questions and good fresh hot food. Love this place! And be sure to go next door for desert empanadas!

I haven't had coffee this good since my Dad would make when I was growing up. The empanadas and other delicious pastries and things are just wonderful. I walked in and felt like I was walking into my parents kitchen. Love .....love it

First time here, tried the beef, hamburger and pepperoni and the spicy chicken empanada. The beef tasted like hamburger surprisingly, the hamburger was an interesting combo but in a good way and the spicy chicken was SPICY! All were a bit soft and chewy, not crispy fried. The three and a can of soda cost $12.36.

I was looking for lunch and came across this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and went to the counter. They had food made on display and I went with the chicken stew and 2 chicken empanadas. One of them had mole sauce! I paid and left. The first thing I ate was the chicken and mole sauce empanada, and that was ok. The plain chicken one was much better! The chicken stew dish was pretty good and very filling. I enjoyed my overall experience.

I mainly go for the empanadas but they do serve other food mainly in a buffet style Maybe four or five selections of meat rice and assorted sides. The variety of empanadas are vast and very delicious I like this place over most because they bake the empanadas. Another bonus with this location is the owner makes custom hot sauce if you can get your hands on a bottle before they're empty it is delicious.

Love their empanadas! My only complaint is that I wish that they would list what flavors are available each day. Sometimes i go and there are flavors that i cannot eat. It would be nice to list them on one of your social media pages daily.

Empanadas were cold, burnt and old. I was told to come back in 7 mins and they will make them lighter for me. I go back and I get the same burnt ones. Threw them out. Will not be going back. Paid almost 8 bucks!

This is my go to lunch spot when in Clifton area. A daily assortment of delicious empanadas, great price point for a quick lunch, and friendly staff. Would def recommend.

I order a ham and cheese sandwich it’s was plain literally just the ham and the cheese. Has Puerto Ricans I thought that it’s was gonna come with mayo ketchup , lettuce and all of that and the shake was ok not real strawberry but it was good ( the service 👏👏 good)

Decided to come here for lunch before work and I regret it. As a full Boricua, I know what good tasting Puerto Rican food is and this place is not it. Lunch combos are overpriced and the taste of the pork, rice and beans are very bland with no flavor. Never going back!

A great place for consistently good BAKED empanadas. I would make this a go to spot for a quick bite although their hours can sometimes be a bit weird. I have come to this place and it was closed at a time you would expect it would be open such as in the middle of the day.
