It looks like it’s missing a manager. There’s no staff enough on busy days. Big line just outside waiting to be seated. In other hand, a lot of AVAILABLE tables with no one seated! The server just told that she’s alone and they rather to form big lines instead of let everybody come in inside. You should hire more servers. Definitely, you’re losing money.

The food came after 40 minutes! For 2 burgers with fries, that is the longest time I’ve ever had to wait. Unfortunately I was also disappointed with the quality of the food. One sandwich was dry and the bun was burnt. The other sandwich’s bun was burnt as well and the beef tasted nasty! The fries were hard like rocks and bitter. Overall the food was not tasty, burnt and came very late! I definitely won’t come here again!

I am disappointed by this place, from the outside it looks like good place but its actually not, they gave us drinks and we had wait another 15 minuter for the food, my milkshake melted while I was waiting. Also I added photo of philly cheese steak, the half of the steak is on the plate. I don’t recommend this place, it doesn’t cost your time

We have Route66 burger,it was good but not the best. Burger was unsalted and the portion was little small. Service was fairly fast for the busyness. Strawberry milkshake was also nice.

Even though I finished my burger, this was so trash I could make a better burger without even a patty because these chefs clearly were taught how to cook from a caveman. Not only that they did not allow me to have my potato corners in the restaurant when they don’t even have there own fries. I am most definitely NOT coming back.

Most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever been to my glass was extremely dirty and the waitress didn’t even care about it! Waitress was also very rude she was on the phone the entire time. Don’t go here!!!!!

We've eaten at a few Johnny rockets in New Jersey, including the one in Hoboken and Paramus. This was our first time at the Elizabeth location. Of course there are problems with the location being so small and the line outside having to wait to get in, but that doesn't affect my review. Our actual wait outside wasn't too long less than 10 minutes, so that was good. However when it came to the actual burger, they weren't cooked enough. They tasted like they could have got a few more minutes on the grill just to get to medium rare. But regardless of the amount of cooking, the burger is really lacked that flavor a burger should have. We also paid $2.00 extra for the unlimited fries, but being how busy they were it took too long to get to fries making that $2.00 a waste. There's a jukebox in the corner entrance, feel free to select the free song to play before you sit down. Also there is another entrance closer that we saw people walk in and sit down from while they were still a line of people waiting to get in. This is something that should be roped off to prevent those that feel too privileged to wait. I was also shocked that how disgusting the refrigerator looked for orders waiting to be picked up! I hate to pull my food out of the refrigerator that looked that bad! We walked into Johnny Rocketts and that’s when the service went downhill. My family and I sat down and we waited and waited for menus. The server gestured that she would bring them over after she was done with another customer. Finally she came over and ordered our food. She returned and replied “No more chili” and I said “huh”, so I immediately changed my order and then we waited and waited for our food. I asked hubby “Do you want to leave” and he said “Ahh let’s give them a chance”. While waiting I observed others waiting and leaving. We finally received our food after a long wait… food was okay but nothing to brag to grandma about. In the past we have visited this establishment and the service was nothing like the service we received. They only had two servers on the floor but a ton of people in the restaurant… Do yourself a favor and just walk right pass Johnny Rocketts! This is not the Johnny Rocketts that you think it used to be….

I passed by today for the first time in years. The food use to be taste way better back in the day. Service was beyond mediocre and our waitress barely acknowledged my table. I noticed that there was 3 plates with burgers sitting on top of grill waiting to be brought to the tables. They sat there for 6 minutes or so. Turns out that one of those plates was mine. I also noticed my server off to the side on her phone quite a few times instead of checking in on the table. That seemed to be the most important thing instead of actually doing her job. Normally, clients don’t have to chase after their waiter. They come to check in on them. After asking for the bill, the waitress brought back the receipt with the tip section circled. I’m all for giving a good tip, but it has to be well deserved and sadly it wasn’t.

Horrible service I waited like 25 minutes for my food. The sandwich was trash and soggy. The sandwich look like it just came out of the garbage 🗑️. I would never go back in this restaurant. Definitely bad management. I just walk out of that place. And had to go get some fast food

I had the Philly steak and green salad with a coke. It was super busy and the food was good. The waitress I had was super friendly and checked on me thru out my time there. She was happy in her work and had a smile on her face. I could see everyone in the kitchen and they were all talking and working as a team. Great atmosphere for a busy joint

It was very, very busy here. The waitress was nice and did a great job considering. The problem, surprisingly was the food. All 3 of is and nobody finished their food. We weren't even going to box it up but hate to waste food. They were just burgers and a hotdog but to put it in perspective, I almost always finish my food ordered out. The food here just was not that good.

My first time eating at JR. Let's start with the positive side. The staff were nice and friendly, I felt comfortable. I was so happy that they had gluten free buns! The fries were tasty and well fried. The not so positive. The music was too load, maybe I'm getting old :-) The burger was not for me. It taste like a Swedish Pannbiff (minced meat mixed with onion, egg and bread crumbs formed into a patty). It didn't go well as a burger. Hopefully it will taste different next time I try JR.

I cannot make this stuff up. My family and I was in the mall and wanted to grab a burger. We decided on Johnny Rockets. The waitress attempted to seated us at the worst possible location. I asked if she noticed if the seat was ripped and that this would not be suitable. She asked me what I wanted her to do fix it. That was my queue to exit but against our better judgement we stayed. Ordered cheese burgers, onion rings and milk shakes. My cousin bit into his cheeseburger and noticed something odd. The bacon was raw. He brought this to the waitress’ attention and acknowledged by stating that “it was gross”. The took the burger back and removed it from the bill. This location is the pitts don’t go is my advise.

If you are hungry do not go to this place. The place may be a fast food but fast service is not part of it. I spent 30 minutes waiting in line and in the table and another 30 min waiting for my food. A simple burger and French fries.

philly cheese steak was good but not so great for the price. chickecn club sandwich was supposed to be in sourdough bread but they gave cold brioche bun. as if i was buying a ready made stuff from airport..they did not even tell that they are out of sour dough bread
