The entrance to this place is between H&M and Dave and Busters, inside the mall. I did not know that. The place is made specifically with kids in mind. Most all displays are lower so the kids can see clearly. There are tokens that can be bought and then used throughout the aquarium to purchase food to feed the animals. The layout is circular. Small, but plenty entertaining for the kids. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. And they're always willing to help. Definitely recommended.

Its a small but good aquarium for kids. You have everything thing in small place. It may take between 30mins to 1hr depending on your choice for feeding birds and animals. Feed token are extra cost. Staff are good and supportive and explaining when needed. There is girl with mermaid 🧜‍♀️ suit for taking pictures with kids. It has hand wash 🧴 available in multiple places to use after touching animals and birds 🐦. All aquariums are fully loaded with fish’s. There is a souvenir and toys shop in the entrance.

Wait time is over two hours and they are encouraging you to upgrade your tickets by paying $15 for each person on top of what you have paid already to avoid waitlist. Our wait time was just over two hours and it was not a worth, we explored the entire place within 10-12 min. Not much to see, most aquariums with fishes are very filthy that you can barely see any fish, the entire place smells bad and dirty. My kids were devastated to see iguanas in such horrible conditions, we have been to many places and have seen wild iguanas in Florida that were in better shape. I don’t recommend this place at all, not worth your time or money.

The wait is too long: 1.5-2hours wait, especially when you are waiting with little kids. You have to go early or purchase a $20 pass per person to skip the line. Other than that the kids had fun feeding the fishes and other animals (you also have to purchase tokens to feed the animals-not included in the tickets)

Very crowded and annoying to get around the tiny space. None of the animals look like they wanna be there. They charge a $26/feeding package on top of the ticket while you can totally just get them inside and choose the animals your kids like to feed. The mall has also seen better days making the trip to the zoo awkward and everyone lines up at chick fla afterwards making it impossible to get a seat. I’d recommend coming here if you got free tickets otherwise go to a real zoo or watch discovery at home.

My son loves here so much that he immediately decided to have his birthday party in here. I have three kids, we bought 100 coins and they used 50 coins in one visit. They locate inside a shopping mall. There are lots of restaurants and fun facilities. This is the place to go if your kids are fish lovers. Feeding the fish brings too much joy and fun! Not to mention they have other animals to feed and touch as well. Other than feeding fish, we like Iguana and the parrot a lot!

This was great for the whole family! Even as adults we got great enjoyment from feeding the fish and animals. My personal favorite was holding the birds (Parakeets - they even ate out of our hands!!!)and petting the Bangle Cats! I think the kids most enjoyed feeding the sharks!! What a blast for all ages!!!

This is the perfect little aquarium for kids. Watching the fish is always a fun sensory choice for kids and my 2 year old loved it. He of course ended up convincing me to get some tokens to feed the fish. The surprise sand pit for digging fossils was also a huge win. Definitely worth a visit. ( The one negative about this location is the loud overhead noise. )

SeaQuest was a nice little day trip to bring the kids. There was a nice assortment of animals and you can buy tokens to feed most of them. We did the sloth encounter, I knew going in you can only feed it through a tube in NJ due to state laws but my kids are obsessed with sloths so they still liked it, was probably a waste of money paying for myself to do it, they would have been fine just going in with the employee.

I guess you can make it the experience you want…but I would consider this a glorified pet store without the option to purchase. Went with 3 other adults and our 9 month old daughter as a way to show my daughter “cool fish”. Many of the terrariums housed animals that can be seen at a pet store and the whole experience can be walked through in as little as 10 minutes or as long as a few hours if you buy the options to pet the animals and/or spend time taking photos at each tank. Underwhelming for adults but I’m sure small kids would have a blast if they have never been to a game preserve or large aquarium. Once and done experience for this family.

For the first timers like us, we were having trouble looking for the entrance to this place because our GPS led us to the parking lot in front of Lord and Taylor that was out of business. So we called and we were told to go around and there’s another parking lot in front of Dave and Busters and there was an entrance behind Lord and Taylor. Seaquest is on the lower level of the mall. It’s an amazing experience for the kids and adults alike. It’s so wonderful that you can interact with some animals and feed the fishes with rules to follow. Admission fee is reasonable. You have to pay with tokens to be able to get food from the dispensers to feed the fish. You also need tokens to interact with animals. Tokens and tickets can be bought at the gift shop when you enter or buy them online and claim them when you get there. 1 token per person except children below 4 years old, is needed to interact with parakeets which was worth it. 3 tokens per person except children below 2 years old is needed to interact with Bengal cats and so on. The staff were very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about their jobs. We had so much fun and I highly recommend this place!

This place is okay. The woman in the bird cage was amazingly friendly and helpful. Feeding the birds. My child enjoy going into the iguanas cage and feeding it. Even though its a rip off. They have one little piece of cabbage or whatever in a tub to basically feed 1 iguana for 1 token. That's robbery to me..imagine a kid going to give 1 iguana a flake of bush to eat and that's it..if you want to do it again another token...tokens are $2 for 1 or you get 15 tokens for $25... to touch a duck in a bucket is 1 token..which is laughable...the website is definitely misleading. That's like more of a giant pet store.atleast the pet store you interact more with the animals for free...the website make you. Think it's bigger but no..barely .it's like walking in a circle pretty much. The mermaid seems nice....and there was social distancing but the mermaid interaction was no interaction 😭😂😂😂 she's behind VIP rope and you have to take a picture from far😂😂 so she has a mask on..when you get there...she remove mask for picture 😂😭 shouldn't it be the opposite. I would prefer her with a mask and you get to be in her vicinity atleast for the picture.

Even though it is not a very big place, we spent 2 hours there and could have spent even more, because it was so amazing and so captivating. First, you can feed pretty much most species of animals that they have, you can also pet most of them and even hold some of them. Of course, since it is animals, you have to be respectful of their daily routine, so even though we had an appointment to pet and feed the sloth, she fell asleep and we just got credited for next time. The staff is absolutely amazing. All of them were very helpful, very friendly and willing to answer any questions or any requests that we had about any animals or anything else about their establishment. We took a lot of pictures and video, and were just amazed. Our son, he is a 22 with a spectrum of autism, so seeing him smile and enjoy himself was a blessing and we loved every second of it. Overall we all had such a great time that we vowed to return again soon. Great place to bring a family and spend a few hours.

I thought it would be fun to bring my daughter over first aquarium trip but nothing could have prepared me for how terrible it was. The wait to get in was 2-1/2 hours long but even worse was that the entire place smells like animal feces, all of the fish tanks were dirty (some had water that was so filthy that you couldn’t even tell if animals were even in it), there were no staff members to keep kids from being too rough with the animals at the touch exhibits, and many of the animals looked unhealthy or just downright depressed. Reptiles with stuck shed, parrots that had plucked their own feathers out from stress, axolotls that had very unhealthy looking gills, and tropical saltwater fish in tanks that looked brackish. The entire experience was depressing and felt very cruel to the animals. Don’t waste your money on this place and don’t risk upsetting your kids by bringing them here either.

The place is very beautiful and suitable for children. The size of the place is average. The best thing about the place is the cats. There were drawbacks such as the lack of organization within the place. To see the cats, he told me you have to pay 10 tokens per person. When I went and bought the currency, he said to me: "It's time to close the cat place. Is that fair?" After I asked him to speak. The official allowed me and my family to enter. This is what made me give 4 stars.

We went snorkeling with the stingrays! We had no idea that it would be in a tank that had other fish and a nurse shark! How exciting! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. And all the rays and fish come so close to you when you feed them! We had a blast! Seaquest has a small assortment of other animals and fish to see and feed. It was definitely a surprise to see this inside of a mall. We had a great time!

This place is a must! The staff is super friendly and it’s a fun place to bring the kids after/before shopping as you can come in and out as many times as you want. Justin was great! Very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves animals! You get to see many different kind of animals and you can interact with them. We experienced feeding the birds and it was incredible! They have a fossil dig site very entertaining, touching Bengal cats and feeding the sharks! Thank you SeaQuest for the great experience! I highly recommend it ♥️

I see so many negative reviews and that makes me sad. I took my son there today for his bday and we had the best experience ever! We pre ordered tickets and when we mentioned it we were bumped to the front of the line! They were extremely accommodating when the otters didn’t come out and let us pick another attraction.. we held and fed the flying squirrels and it was mind blowing! The worker Dan who was there was absolutely phenomenal! Explaining everything to us and about the animals. Then we went over to feed Flash the sloth (my absolute DREAM) and Johanna was also absolutely amazing with helping us feed Flash and explaining different details about her! We saw so many incredible creatures! People say it smells.. it’s literally a place FULL of animals.. I can’t say anything about the wait time but it must be a great place to have that long of a wait! 10/10 rate this place to bring your little ones! So many great encounters and the staff there today was amazing! Can’t wait to go back soon!

If you are going on a weekend then be prepared to stand in line for 90 minutes before you can even get in. I wish they employ a better method of validating ticket to better manager their operations. All the exhibits can be covered in less than 60 minutes, however, you need to wait in line for more than 60 minutes (in addition to 90 minutes that you waited initially to get in) to see the exhibits that like. For instance we enjoyed birds exhibit. Overall, a good place to visit but be prepared to spend 3+ hours waiting rather than enjoying the experience. May be plan your trip on a weekday.

This place has potential. That said it needs a lot of help!!! We arrived with prepurchased tickets. We arrived 11:43am (pretty sure they opened only at 11) and are told through an obnoxious worker on a megaphone to join the virtual queue. These directions were repeated literally 30 times while we were standing there (only a few minutes) to the point it was driving me out of my skin. We ended up having to wait an hour before we could enter. Once in you need to purchase tokens for animal feeds. Some of the machines worked, some didn't, one time you put a coin in and got just a few pieces and another time you'd put a coin in and get a handful. The animals are obviously overfed as most didn't care when the food was produced. The place smells, nothing horrific, not sure what they could do about it, it's literally filled with animals so I think that is to be expected. All in all we had a good time but they need to revamp the entry system. Perhaps ticket times need to be added when purchasing.

Visited here for the first time today. We had fun! It’s small but was clean and all the animals looked healthy. We enjoyed feeding the iguanas & loved interacting with the parakeets & flying squirrels. The rays are adorable too. They swim right up to the side of the tank to greet you. Chip & Dale, our new otter friends, are the cutest. ♥️ Melissa at the front desk was really nice & so were the other two animal whisperers that helped out at the encounters. We will definitely be back.

Surprising gem in mall! My husband and I visited on a Thursday afternoon in August. I purchased tickets online in advance and was able to save 25%. Location is in the mall by former Lord & Taylor store. We only spent about an hour walking through aquarium. We are not big on interacting with animals but if you are, I can see spending a lot more time there as there were a lot of opportunities to interact. Some options were included and others had an additional fee. The signage was easy to read and understand. There were some animals that I had never seen before. Some parts of pathway were more narrow so it may be difficult to access when it is crowded. Otherwise, you can always loop back around to see anything you missed. I was disappointed that most of the materials within non-water tanks were plastic or rubber (picture shows grass "carpet" and rubber interlocking tiles) which doesn't create natural habitat for animals. We walked by a nice sized room that looked to be set up for party. The few employees we saw with animals sounded friendly and informative. I will most likely bring my nephews who enjoy petting animals because it's a great opportunity for that here. There were vending machine and bathrooms along pathway for easy access.

This is nice for a family outing with the kids I would only go one time though I don't see myself coming back it was a nice experience there wasn't much to look at though small but the kids enjoyed themselves and we got about y'all for group power which was a great price and the kids was able to feed some animals. Able to see the mermaid but we didn't get there until 530pm. They didn't have any big sea animals. The pigs was interesting to say the least. I would recommend it at least once.

We had a great time at SeaQuest Woodbridge! We signed up for the zookeeper and flying squirrel experiences and they were so much fun! The staff there was amazing, the facility was clean, and the animals were so cool! Definitely worth the cost. My 7 year old kept saying, "This is the best day if my LIFE!" We will be back!

We had a great time at SeaQuest. Jordan at check-in was very helpful and answered lots of questions for us as it was our first time visiting. We had a great time interacting with the animals! It is definitely a unique experience for the family. Another employee, Rich, offered us half off for feeding the sharks. They offer half price on interactions on Sundays. Highly recommend taking the family.

First time coming it wasn’t bad just for the price they charge a little outrageous. Very very small but seen cute animals. Nice seeing some shark up close and sting rays . What I did like was a lot of feeding you can do and they even have a lobster you can feed lol only thing was they had a party going on and the people involved with the party were all over the place and blocking the entrance to go in and just everywhere making it hard for others to enjoy the place . I had to say excuse me so many times smh wish they were more considerate of others . Check in was a nightmare even though I bought tickets online . They still make you get in line ! And the girl was very slow checking people in made it annoying. They really try and force you to get tokens to feed animals . The girl kept asking which bothered me . So I don’t think I’ll come back but not terrible . Just better going off to a bigger place or zoo instead more space to have distance

Fun afternoon. It says 3 hours but we made it through in about 1.5 hours. Def. Interactive feeding the animals but some didn’t want to eat anymore. This place is only 1 level and you go around in a big circle.

Overall it was a positive experience. We had great staff member interactions, they were very knowledgeable about the animals. All the animals were well cared for. I would give it a 5 star but the place was so crowded, and we were met with a 3 hour wait time to get in. We were able to upgrade a ticket for an additional $20 fee and skip the line. However, once inside the walking space between the exhibits was limited and I lost count of how many times someone with a baby stroller ran into me or pushed their way past. Most of the feeding stations just ate our tokens and did not dispense any food. I am certain things would have been just a little more enjoyable on a less busy day. All in all, it was still a great family experience.

Having to scan a QR CODE and have excessive waiting for a service is not quality customer service. If you still have to wait upon arrival they should really insist of tickets ONLY BEING PURCHASED ONLINE and having selective time frames so they can control the traffic and how many people at any given time. Alternatively they need a better system and/or solution to accommodate those people who are just coming for the aquarium. Having workers yell instructions over a crowd of people was quite disturbing. It was LOUD AND UNCOMFORTABLE. Also it definitely wasn’t the same experience as it was when they first open. Despite it being late that afternoon the tanks were not appealing and the water was quite dirty from all the food being thrown in. Presentation was definitely a two for me. Truly speak feeding the birds has always been the best part. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money honestly , but go if is FREE.

Monster fish, river fish, tropical fish, turtles, Reptiles, livestock, a Sloth, a Toucan, some cats, and a small assortment of others. It's fun mostly because it is interactive for the kids, we went as a group. If you're looking for an aquarium, there are locations in NJ with a more varied selection. Everything seems very well kempt and there was ongoing maintainance while we were there.

I was on my way home and got stranded at the nearby airport. I got a Lyft to the mall and was very surprised to find this awesome aquarium inside. I spent most of the afternoon here and enjoyed every minute of it. I want to thank Rich for convincing me to go snorkeling in the giant tank, where I got to meet Pickles! Alley and Christine were very helpful from the start. They made the trip to the aquarium worth it. I felt right at home. I wish I had more time there. Definitely worth the visit. There's soo much to do and see in a surprisingly large aquarium. You can interact with so many of the animals by feeding them or petting them. The people here truly care about the animals as well. 💕 🐠 🦈 🦜 ⭐ 🦎 🦆 🐢 🐇🐆🪿🪳🐍 💕

Went with a friend and had a wonderful experience. You can interact with the fish and pet them. They also have food dispensers and you can feed the fish/animals there too 🙂 Large size aquarium and worth the price. The only thing I didn't enjoy was when I used Google maps to direct me to their location, it sent me directly to a closed shut down building connected to the mall. There was a sign outside the door that directed me to the correct location though, completely opposite side of where it was but it's okay 😅

I just got back from a visit with my son. I was skeptical of the place, but he had a great time. It was just the right size for a quick visit after school. We had signed up for the flying squirrel interaction, but my son was terrified and wanted to leave right away. The animal whisperer, Bruce, ties to get him to calm down, but my two year old was not having it. So the wonderful lady at the front helped us swap the interaction. He picked to see the bunnies, pig, and goats instead. He was still a bit nervous, but Bruce really helped by holding the animals and talking to him. By the end my son even pet a goat and let it lick him. Then Bruce and my son walked around and talked about the fish. Bruce gave us an extra extended fish tour and that really made my son feel special. We are happy we bought the annual passes and will go back again.

I took my daughter to Sea Quest at the Woodbridge Mall. She really enjoys animals and wants to be a veterinarian. On her last visit here Irwin took the time to explain how chickens can lay eggs that are not fertilized. She allowed her to feed the chickens and rabbits. What an unforgettable experience! Thank you Irwin. We purchased the membership. I am so happy Central Jersey has an aquarium and petting zoo.

Great place its like a petting zoo for the Aquatic animals. better to come early. and during the week but overall irwin was great

It was very crowded and overall seemed dirty, dark, and not well managed. We couldn’t find any employees the whole place to help with buying additional tokens which they use for feeding or petting animals. We roamed around for an hour trying before just quitting.

Had the most wonderful time here. Holly taught me a lot about the animals. I loved the flying squirrel and parakeet interaction. If you want to have an amazing experience with animals, come here.

This was our second visit. Awesome time! The mermaid lady in the pic was very nice to the kids 👍🏻 The entire staff was really very friendly and working hard. Very impressed. Very clean and healthy fish. No dead ones!!!! Great variety. Puffers, stingrays, koi, angel, lion fish, jellyfish, starfish. We fed the iguanas and pet the cats. Doesn’t smell bad at all. No rabbits there anymore… thinking maybe the bad reviews on the smell of the place might have led to this. Rabbit poop stinks… duh! Also there’s not at all as many stingrays as there were last year which was a bummer. We brought our own lunch and ate directly outside the aquarium on the fountain ledge which the kids loved! Good spot to sit and eat away from the crowd.

Even though it's in Woodbridge Mall, it's awesome! They have a lot of interesting animals. I went with my family, my husband, and two daughters 21, and 12. We really enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place and visit again. It's very affordable too. Go check it out for yourself.

Took the kids when they first opened up in the morning and there was no lines or crowds (seems to be best time to go) Everyone had a lot of fun. Love how hands on this place is. We especially loved being able to touch and play with the bengal cats they have. So friendly too. Staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely wanna go back maybe even do a birthday party there , which they do as well.

It was a very well put together little aquarium. The wait was long, but I was pleasantly surprised to know that teachers plus their spouses and kids get in for free. So well worth the wait.

Kids had an amazing time here feeding some of the animals and being able to interact with some. Their favorite was the parakeet exhibit where they could walk in and a handler gave them birdseed... the birds would come sit on them and eat/explore!

Took a picture of the updated tokens list for those who are interested. I am wildly impressed with this place. Me and my family (4 adults) had an amazing time (which I wasn’t expecting because of the reviews mentioning it being ideal for kids). We went on a Friday evening so there was no wait and not too many people inside. Additionally, we went at a perfect time because the employees offered us a discounted price for the premium experiences since it was later in the day! We weren’t expecting to spend 2 hours there, and we definitely weren’t expecting such a huge variety of animals at our local mall. We ended up buying an annual pass for my sister because she loved it so much! Thankfully, we also got discounted tickets because of a promotion so this was 100% worth the price we paid. I will be recommending this spot to friends and my sister will be back!! Also, shoutout to the gentleman at the front desk with the ladybug tattoo on his right hand - he really made that whole experience so much better for all of us!

Located in Woodbridge mall in the heart of the township, this place is a must visit if you have kids between the ages of 3 to 15. We had a lot of fun looking at the various types of fishes, and other wildlife like ducks , bobcats, parrots , snakes etc. You can feed the animals. For an extra fee you can also get into the cages to pet the animals, feed the birds etc (interact with them). You can easily spend a couple of hours here. They also allow us to host birthday parties so that's a big plus if you are looking to celebrate your kids birthday.

We had amazing time at the sea quest with my son yesterday. Jonathan was so nice and helpful to give us amazing tour around the aquarium. We had a chance to swim with stingrays, we fed and pet mostly all animals. It was my son’s birthday and he said it was his best and most memorable birthday. Strongly recommend! Amazing place! Great staff!

My kids had fun but they dont have enough staff to accommodate each visitor, For the price they charge. They need to hire more people or dont charge for the tokens only reason m giving 4 stars. Overall my kid loved the place staff was very nice and friendly.

Great place for kids. They let you feed almost all the animals for tokens. Good place to see animals and experience some of them up close.

We had an awesome time at SeaQuest! We purchased the epic quest package and had the best tour guide, Aidan. He was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and patient. It made the experience such a great one. We were visiting from Texas and this is very much a highlight! We even had a group member with special needs and he was so good with him! Highly recommend!

From MD. Mom bought tickets and the stuff I was seeing looked scary bad. But I tell you these critters are very well managed!! Everybody had a blast. My autistic child had a little meltdown and the girl with the awesome axolotl earrings helped greatly showing us books and toys. All and all worth the money!!

Long line to get in on a Saturday so come early or you'll need to wait in a virtual queue for 2 hours. The aquarium has murky looking tanks with a good amount of different species of fishes that the kids enjoyed. They have lots of other animal exhibits that include a small aviary, a flying squirrel exhibit, and more animals on display in glass cages. Sometimes the animals don't feel like interacting so go early in the day and don't sign up for any appointments for the exhibits because it's not guaranteed for the animals to be interactive and you'll waste 30 minutes waiting for your appointment to be told that the animals aren't available. They don't give refunds, only exhibit tokens. Overall it was a nice afternoon visit but don't have high expectations.

My family and I got the tickets for free at Woodbridge, NJ. We read the reviews and decided to get to the mall at 10 am since the Aquarium opened at 11 am. Once the Aquarium opened we waited 10 min. We were in the Aquarium from 11 am - 12:15 pm. The workers were pleasant and bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed ourselves. Once we got out of the Aquarium we heard the wait was 3 hrs. My advice is get there early to avoid the wait.

I took my daughter on a Thursday and we had the best day there. There wasn’t many people there so we had no wait at all and saw everything. We did the sloth encounter and got to feed Flash who was sloowwww cute. Our guide was Julian who was very informative and then we also decided to do the sea otter experience as well. We got to feed Chip and Dale some fish. We had great customer service from Alley upon our arrival and when we decided to add on some experiences. I would highly recommend coming on a weekday if you have the ability to.

I came here with my son and friend. It was very cute, my son loved the fishes and the ducks. He was trying to touch the ducks but I was scared that they might have bite him. The sharks were just relaxing on the bottom of the tank like they did not want to be bothered at all🤣🤣!! The pig was just playing with her hay. We had a great first time experience the next time, we are going to interact with the animals!! I would recommend parents with children to come check it out, it is one big circle and you can walk around as many times as you would like!!!

This place was so much fun! Took my kids there for my 10 yr olds bday. We got there early before they opened because we heard wait times can be crazy. Resonable price for admission but can start to get pricey if you want to do experiences and interactions, especially for several people. We loved feeding the sting rays! We would definitely go back.

We visited SeaQuest and had an amazing experience. My nephews were visiting from out of town and I wanted to take them for a unique experience and SeaQuest was the place. We interacted with flying squirrels, hand fed beautiful birds, and had fishy pedicures. The icing on this wonderful day was the snorkel swim with a LIVE MERMAID! Mermaid Marina was so wonderful. Gentle, sweet, and so kind to my nephews. She truly made the experience magical. Needless to say SeaQuest was the highlight of my nephews visit. We will definitely be back.
