It was a great night to sit and clear your mind. The colors of the water changing gave it such a nice view at night.

For a comparatively small size municipal park, Lyndhurst Municipal Park has an astounding abundance to offer. The keynote feature is the performance stage, with seating for several hundred people to enjoy the occasional concerts taking place there. This park also has an iconic water fountain which is tranquilizing during the daytime, and puts on a spectacular display when lit at night. Also in the park there is a gazebo, a picnic area with about 10 tables, a large wallball wall, and numerous shaded walking paths with plenty of benches to relax on. The kids aren't left out either, with multiple jungle gyms, swings, and a fenced in playground. For finishers, a commemorative bust of Christopher Columbus, donated by the local UNICO, can be found in the northeast corner of the park. All in all, a total delight.

Kudos to the mayor for organizing a wonderful afternoon of classic cars, music and great food! Let's keep going with these events, it will bond our community even more!

Such a great town with great local finds. The people are friendly and so relaxed. I especially enjoyed the park with seating to admire it's many trees, water display, gazebo and kids play area. I even looked up house cost there hahahaha.

Great park that offers a wide range of playgrounds for all ages. There is also a stage where there is live music during the summer. Very relaxing.

Nice park to walk around. Has a fountain that changes color at night. Fenced in kids playground. A stage for small concert and such. Next to a police department. Safe area. Also if you are into Pokémon go there are a bunch of pokestops and a few gyms there. Overall a great park!

Never been to a park with more rules and regulations than this one. They should just remove the playground and make it a memorial spot. Kids can’t even have fun doing chalk because its against the rules. The worst part is, all the swings make a horrible noise, a part of the playground is closed because it’s not up to safety standards and there’s no bathrooms available. Very ghetto Lyndhurst! Please do better and re-evaluate whether this is a park or not. “Low income” places have better to offer.

Lots of great play structures for kids of varying ages. Lots of benches for parents to sit. Can see nj transit train passing through (great for train-loving kids). Very nice big space.
