Looks like this place is full of lazy ignorant staffs. Asked for essentials and only gave a napkin and a ketchup and one of the staff said that's considered essentials. It wasn't the first time I ordered here and utensils were always included. No apologies from anyone but every staff looked at me like why I am asking for utensils. The burger tasted so awful, whoever cooked, does not understand how to make food. It is not the same as before. Did the management change? The quality of service and food both are so miserable. Not coming back. Even McDonald is better than this. SHAME ON THIS PLACE

To preface this review, I have been an avid fan of bareburger since 2015 but after having it again, things have certainly changed. Had high hopes of coming back after a couple year hiatus and my expectations were not met. The bread was stale, a burger that tasted like a hot dog (?), and was cooked beyond a medium well, and flavorless French fries, this is no longer my ultimate burger recommendation. There are better options and I would avoid this if possible. It seems the glory days of bare river have sailed and it is now just another overpriced eatery with only a hard to prove promise of being “organic” going for it.

Bareburger offers meals for all kinds of folks. Vegan. Vegetarian and beef eaters. Service here was quick and constant even during the lunch rush. Pricing wise, they're a bit on the higher side for a burger, but they were tasty and enough for one individual. The fries are a shareable porition. The variety of sauces they offer definitely are delicious and different. All and all, if you're in the area and craving a burger, give this little spot a shoot.

First time that I ordered: I love it! I’m definitely gonna order again… Second time that I ordered: I’m like seriously? I ordered my food at 9:40 and arrives 11:40. Good luck if ordering from this place.

Bareburguer always have vegan and vegetarian options this is a plus, I’ve been to two other locations and I definitely prefer the one in Ridgwood. The Brussels Sprouts are really good and the staff is friendly.

This was the first time at the restaurant, previously we were ordering on-line. The place is really nice, I liked the atmosphere, the concept and the service. If you like rock 🎸🤘 and grunge, you'll find the ambience a perfect fit. The guy who took our order was kind and helpful. About food, the burgers are good but not the best we've had. Maybe a Saturday morning is not the right time to eat burgers. Also, we tried the mimosa flight, was really good, specially the strawberry and peach flavor. Of course we will back!

Nice spot for lunch or dinner and a drink. Food is fresh and made to order with an emphasis on non gmo. Prices are pushing it a bit for what you're getting. So I removed a star for that. Otherwise the place is convenient, clean, and staff are friendly.

The burger patty was smelly and popcorn chicken was the worst. The ingredients that are not fresh will remain the worst memories. My family is going to have a stomachache today.

We loved it, our visit was casual cause we were waiting for our glasses (next door) and kiddos were hungry. But what a good coincidence, food was good fries perfect crunchy as we didn't got long time ago. But the party OMG amazing tasty and juicy. The service was good and they have tablets as a menu the experience was fun for my kids and u as a parent could have a little drink to enjoy. Definitely recommend it

Service was bad. We got seated quickly but had to wait a long time for the waitress to come over. She never checked on us or anything until we were done. Also the menus are computers and mine didn’t work. The website says a single is cheaper than a double burger which is not true, so make sure you get a working menu. Food was pretty good though.

Their menu is very good, great quality. My husband has a dairy allergy and a gluten intolerance and the have great options. 100% recommend it.

This place was really nice and unexpected lol. The food was great! The customer service was really good. It’s a small-ish location but could probably fit about 20 people inside ( while practicing social distance. They have outdoor seating as well, which fit about 20 more people. Inside there’s a bar, which shocked me.. I thought this was just a burger spot but it’s so much more! Although I did not order a salad, the pictures on their tablet menu looked amazing! They had so many options!! My friend and I got burgers with fries, I just happen to get half sweet potato fries and half regular fries. They have a new menu of different flavors of lemonade but unfortunately they didn’t have any of the strips yet.. which I hate when they do that because it’s a tease. However, my regular lemonade tasted really great so I can only imagine how good the new additions to the menu will be!

I hardly, if ever, write reviews about restaurants because I have worked in food and understand how stressful it can be. However, the wait staff on 8/13 around 5-6pm literally sucked so bad. My boyfriend and I came in around 5, were seated by the very prompt and nice hostess and that was the last positive interaction we had. Our server took the order of another party that came in after us first, and I just assumed maybe we weren’t in his section and someone else would be with us shortly. He took our order, and it came within 10 minutes. He never once came to check on us after it was brought to us. We asked another server for our check & he literally admitted to simply forgetting about us. Mind you, that’s not even as bad as our OWN server simply never asking. It was not busy at all while we were there either, when we arrived there was only one other party of 1. By the time we left, there was maybe 5 parties in total, including us, one of which also had not been taken care of yet by the time we left. Why? Because the two servers were simply talking behind the counter, seemingly doing nothing productive. Had it been busy, evidently short-staffed, etc. I wouldn’t feel the need to blast this, but it’s extremely frustrating to see. This is def my last time coming here with anyone & would not recommend at all.

We came during lunch time on a Tuesday and the place was empty, however, our food took a while and we thought the burger was going to be well done as we asked for, but it was pink inside. Despite this, everything was tasty! The truffle fries were delicious 🤤 and my chicken sandwich was perfect. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The place was clean, well decorated, warm, and music was not loud. Thank you! We will come back to try more items.

This place is gold! From the food, to the service (thanks Emily!), to the decor! I just converted to veganism to impress my father in-law before I go over for their 4th of July barbecue and had been really craving a burger... and I mean a GOOD ONE! I didn't want to buy chickpea patties from Trader Joe's and have a sad meal at home so instead I gave this place a try. I had their Impossible Burger with fries and it was absolutely incredible. My server Emily was a great time and a great laugh, she was so empathetic to my situation and rightly assured me my vegan burger would be delicious. This place and her service were a home run!
Now I can prove to my in-laws that my husband made the right choice marrying me and introduce them to this place. (They are very strict vegans and I've been hiding this dirty delicious secret for 3 years!) As for all my fellow non-vegans, my friend got a non-vegan burger and it looked spectacularly mouthwatering... I should've snuck a bite. Thank you Emily for making this transition so seamless and for introducing me to a whole new (vegan) world! Will definitely be coming back to see her and possibly sneak a wagyu burger next time!

I had the pleasure of dining at this location this evening after what was probably the worst day ever (my brother sold my house without letting me know). I use food as my way to relax so I drove over to Bareburger and my day was made! I was met with impeccable service from my server/waitress Michelle. She had no idea what a bad day I had and her service totally turned my day around! Michelle was incredibly polite and charismatic and her suggestions were absolutely delicious. As for the food, I didn't order anything too complicated, but it was some of the best I've had. I will definitely be coming back for this young lady's service, the rustic ambiance, and the incredible food! If any family members ever stab you in the back, this is the place to go for a pick me up! Ask for Michelle! LOL

Burger was delicious! Brussels too! Seemed like they should have had more servers though, looked like there was only one managing all tables and they had plenty of other staff there.

So this is an updated review since my last one from a year or more ago. Despite the 3-star experience this was definitely better than my visit to the La Guardia Place store by NYU. Took a little to be acknowledged to get a table even though the dining room and outdoor seating was not busy. I was dining alone so getting a table shouldn't have been a wait. Finally got seated and the server came by to ask for drinks and I ordered a water. She gave me a little bit of time to decide after she dropped off the water. After a few more minutes she noticed I was ready. She was very attentive and she seemed to have gotten everything right. I asked for the build your own a.k.a. "Be My Burger". I asked for the bison medium on a brioche bun with aged cheddar, lettuce, raw onion, dill pickles, and light on the mayo, mustard and ketchup. She brought out my soda right before my meal came out which was something I requested - I love when they get that timing right! Everything looked great but when I picked up the burger I thought the bison was going to slide right off - can't stand when there is too much sauce and I specifically asked her to take it easy. The other thing I noticed was the center was not pink at all. The sweet potato fries were spot on and that garlic aioli, although a weird combo, tasted good with the fries. Would've been a 5-star experience had the burger been medium and there wasn't all that sauce. I feel like this chain is declining.

I always expect Bareburger to be pricy, but this last takeout order really took it to a new level. Our onion rings side order cost us $5. For that, we received exactly 5, count 'em, FIVE onion rings. ONE 👏 DOLLAR 👏 PER 👏 ONION 👏 RING Two stars are for the delicious burgers, but nope, not gonna be coming back here anytime soon.

The staff was nice. Fast service: Sat, ordered, and ate within an hour. The burgers were not as juicy and flavorful as we expected, but they were still delicious. We were a little disappointed with the amount of onion rings we got in our shared fries & onion rings. Their sauces tasted homemade. We would definitely stop in again if we are in the area again. Especially for their happy hour special $6 cocktail with a burger.
