This place deserves a six star review! Have a beer or two and then get some beers to go! Aside from having some of the best beer in New Jersey, this local joint has a friendly staff and amazing leadership. A lot of love goes into this beer, they really care about the process and the product they're serving you. The staff and the owners take the time to explain how brewing their delicious product is done. One of the best things about going to this brewery is are constantly experimenting and trying new and exciting beer flavors. I consider myself a regular although it's a little harder to get out there these days, however I highly recommend you take advantage of their to-go service and delivery in the meantime! Stock up it's gonna be a long winter :)

Well, it only took me 8 years or so , but I finally made my way to NJ! It was definitely worth the wait ! Great selection of different styles on tap. Plus a lot more in cans. The service was impeccable of course, even if we did have 'connections'. It was stupid hot the day we went so outside wasn't the place to be, but the patio was very welcoming. If you're in the area, you definitely gotta try them out!! I had 4 different beers. I think my favorite was the Hay-Z IPA which had hints of jalapeno! Yum!

Great time at Alementary earlier this weekend. Located in an industrial area, there is a parking lot across from the Brewery. The main brewery area have a small front area with some merch and a refrigerator with some bottled/canned beers that you can take home. The main area has a few barrel and bar stools which were socially distance. There were a bunch of beer on tap with seemingly something for every beer drinker. There is a larger seating area outside which contained barrels/stool as well as picnic tables. I didn't see any food brought in, but many breweries allow you to bring in outside food to eat while you drink. There is also a a small brewing room where you can go into and even have drinks there. I always like to see the inner workings of how the beer is made...though I don't know how much of the beer is actually brewed there since the brewing area seems to be on the smaller side. All staff/bartenders were friendly and patient, offering recommendations when requested.

Cannot say enough good things about this establishment. Hostess is awesome, the barkeeps are great, the BEER is phenomenal!! I’m a huge fan of the Hot and Bothered, it is the perfect brew to be drinking this winter! I love supporting local and so glad I found this place!

The beer is good here but service is bad. They need to hire more than one bartender. I got served after customers who arrived after me as the bartender served whoever happened to stand in front of her at the moment.

A group of us came and did a bunch of tastings. Loved the variety. All the beers are really well balanced. Everyone found a favorite. Loved the relaxed atmosphere. There is an outdoor beer garden for when it is under 100 degrees. Highly recommend finding this diamond in the rough.

Fantastic beer and staff across the board with a nice taproom and great outdoor space to boot. Being tucked away in an industrial park-like area means that parking is often (but not always) pretty easy. I can never leave without taking some tasty beer to go, and their fully-stocked fridge makes that easy.

The beertender was super welcoming and helpful. They do samples of whatever you would like. Small tap list by diverse. They have a Marzen on tap right now. I enjoyed the Hackensack Lager. Indoor and outdoor seating available, tables with umbrellas. Dog friendly, parking is limited. We moved a few times because of a local dumpster that was ripe.

Great beer, atmosphere, employees and parking. Dog and child friendly. Did I mention the craft beer is absolutely delicious? The brewers' know what they're doing.

Alementary not only has great beer, but the atmosphere and staff are awesome. They took the time to talk about their beer with us and make recommendations. We also brought our dog who was very welcomed not only by staff but by other patrons. We will definitely be back!

Always have a great time here, bartenders are friendly and quick with your order. You do have to bring your own food if you want to eat, but that is no fault of Alementary’s.

Love that they are dog-friendly. We also love their beers - the Island Life is a long time favorite that they've retired and brought back! West Coast IPA is great too! Wish the seating was a tad more comfortable but all in all the great place. They have parking across the lot too!

First timer .. google mapped it and reached the place and couldn’t find a parking . It’s in a small cross road inside . Went in to see a decent range of IPAs .. tried a few and got my fav taste - sports bar .. loved it. They do have growlers but not for all IPAs. Just a couple . Rest are can’d and sold .. beer range was good.. Cons - wish they had food .. with the good quality beers , they should have some food , atleast for sides .. growlers were a little expensive.. 22$for a IPA and 15$ for the other one (64 oz). In Framingham MA we used to get 64oz for 13$ inc bottle . Another con was the parking.. In any case I still rate it 4/5 because of the scarcity of good brews in NJ and taking home a growler. Will be back for sure ..

Very calm and relaxing brewery that serves a delicious variety of beers and ale. We enjoyed both types of lagers, a Hefeweizen, and a gose. This brewery is always worth a stop if you are in the area. The outside area is nicely arranged to accommodate couples and families. Ethan was working around the outside area and we had a nice talk with him about previous beers and other breweries up and down NJ. A special thanks to him for covering my gose, we hope to see you again next time we stop by!
