Master Kim is a splendid instructor and knows his way of transferring messages to his students of all ages. It was common to see young students attending for the first day and refusing to leave their parent's side, but after a week; the children learned to embrace the situation and became more enthusiastic even without the need of the parent's presence. If you wish to have your children engaging in an activity while learning alternate things such as discipline, respect, and focusing. I highly recommend giving this program a try.

I absolutely recommend this place to everyone and the 5 stars aren't enough to rate them! My six year old daughter is currently attending and cannot thank enough to Mr.Kim for his kindness. The staffs are very kind and they will guide you through step by step if you ever need any help. The facility itself is very nicely built and I totally trust Mr.Kim and his staffs as far as taking care and teaching my daughter not only the martial arts but the etiquette with the proper manners and how to respect others. Thank you all for everything!

Best Taekwondo school ever! The kids love coming here because the classes are a lot of fun and very challenging. The instructors are really nice and good at instilling discipline, respect, self control and confidence. My son recently won gold medal at the NY State Governor’s Cup thanks to World Champion Master Kim for providing world class sparring training!

We have been coming to United Tae Kwon Do in Nutley for almost 2 years. My son (6 yrs old) loves the program, and has embraced the structure. It is an absolutely great way to have your child keep their mind challenged, learn respect, and gain real social interaction in a competitive yet respectful environment. The instructors learn your child’s hot buttons and are stern yet caring in getting out their true potential. I Highly recommend this program!

My daughter absolutely loves her classes. The instructors are so friendly and patient with the kids. It is very hard work, but the children benefit from it. They teach respect, honor and good manners. We are thrilled with the instructors and we’ve even referred friends who have joined. We highly recommend this school

I promised myself 50 years ago I would return to Karate training. Well I find myself here and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The instructors are great. Master Kim is amazing and I have new friendships to help me grow. Just do it!

Love this place! Master Kim and the other instructors are great with the kids. They are patient, kind, and work with each child building confidence and independence.

This is such a good fun growing learning experience for my two kids ( I have a 6 y/o girl and a 5y/o boy) they have so much fun when they come to class. Master Kim is very caring and observes the needs of each child as individuals and helps and pushes them to grow. Instructor Ledian is also such a great instructor who with caring patience, respect and discipline guides them. My kids love them and my husband and I are so appreciative of the patience and dedication that that they have with our kids. The team as a whole is great instructor Raj and Master Kang are also part of this great team thank you for all that you do. when we first brought my son he was very shy and wouldn’t want to let go of mom and he would just cry. This team doesn’t give up they work there way into winning your kids trust making them feel welcomed and talk to them about how important they are to this team. The class not only teaches the taekwondo techniques but also reinforce self respect, respect others, friendship and self control. My son is now a yellow belt about to give his test to become an orange belt. My daughter started recently and I love seeing her grow as well.

Great school. Great for teaching discipline and great for all ages from toddler to adult, it has helped me with getting in shape even from a young age. would recommend.
