This place has changed for the worst. I used to have a membership but cancelled because I couldn’t find time to make it and my monthly sessions just piled up. Anyway, I made an appointment for a massage today, which was supposed to be firm and deep. Instead I received a light body rub. That was not the only issue, the masseuse came to collect me from the waiting room after my session was supposed to have started, she sat down the entire massage and basically did a light massage, which I questioned. Naturally. She did offer to go speak with the manager as she said she saw nothing about deep and firm. Interestingly, every-time I have booked a massage the masseuse did a quick consult of what I was looking for from the session. And, that set the tone, but because this particular masseuse, Yvette, came to get me into the hour and not at the start, it didn’t set anything, but a bad tone. Add to this, when you do your check in, you see exactly the type of massage you want. I saw that firm was already checked, so her saying she saw nothing was confusing. When I did come out at the end, the clerk at the front desk (I’m unsure of her title), was adamant that I received a firm massage. I didn’t have the appetite to argue because it’s beneath me and I already could tell my only course of action would be to leave a review and never return. I would advise against booking with this location and this masseuse, Yvette. I’ve never had a bad massage at this place until now and it’s unfortunate, but there are a lot of new people and they don’t answer the phone, which should have been an indicator that I should have moved on. I’m so dissatisfied it’s incredible!

The Manager Kim is beyond rude and disrespectful, she hung up on me because I told her I was going to contact Corporate instead of trying to resolve the issues. Kim and her assistant Kathleen are rude people who should never work in customer service again. I will never go this establishment again. A Tip: Be Respectful

Service was good and people are nice. Technician who performed my service was excellent, but trying to reach someone on the phone to cancel my purchase is next to impossible.

I never leave reviews on anything wether the place was good or bad. I’ve been trying to call all day from 920am. I have called over 7 times throughout the day and the phone has yet to be answered. This happens all the time where I have to constantly call until someone picks up. The only reason why I stayed was because of Shekeira. The receptionist are horrible and never pick up the phones.

All this place is about is up charges even for things that shouldn’t be. Increased membership fees and every time you go there you’re asked to spend more money. For example a prenatal massage it’s nothing special minus the fact that the masseuse has to shove a wedge under you during your massage yet they ask for more money. Additionally, I ended up in more pain after it then when I started. The practice at hand and stone for a prenatal is to have you lay on one side be massaged and then rotate to the other. However the side that was first massaged ends up in pain from the uncomfortable positioning. It’s a horrible practice and again why am I being uncharged for positioning. Even more so in the past when I had a large quantity of packages built up I would be asked do you want to do adds on so that you can use more packages versus additional cost coming out of your pocket and the last 2 times I was there I wasn’t asked this but asked to cough up more money.

My appointment was canceled at the last minute twice. I requested for the manager, Sam, to contact me several times but she never does. They have no regard for customer service. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place.

first time getting a facial, the staff was helpful and understanding. very professional place. clean and well oraganized. i had a good time. ask for joana. :)

Everyone was very professional. My massage therapist was very experienced and I like how he let me know what to expect every step of the way.

I just had the privilege of visiting this spa and being treated to a delightful facial. Carol was wonderful! Not only is she highly skilled; she treated me with so much kindness and warmth. I feel lucky to have gone here, and so does my skin! :)

I started going to Dominica at the Clark location for cryo both facial and body. While my face is glowing, healthy and beautiful my body results were unexpected and amazing. I have had 17 surgeries from a car accident and walking more than a block or two caused swelling and pain. I could see a wheelchair in my future again. Here is the unexpected - after six sessions of cryo I realized my legs were no longer swelling and the pain minimal. Best of all I am now walking a mile in under 30 minutes every morning and still able to have a normal pain free day! Cryo reduces inflammation and improves my circulation allowing joint and muscle recovery!! Dominica is amazing as is Clarks H and S staff!!

I’ve always received the best possible massage at Hand and Stone, whenever I was able to get one. However, getting a massage has, of late, become a major issue. That said, I have a major complaint. I had been a member with H&S for years, and had received exceptional service. However, within the last couple of years, all too often, I would make an appointment for my monthly massage, and a day or so before I’d be informed by H&S that it was cancelled. No explanation, just an unapologetic cancellation. (In one such situation, I never even received a call, and was informed that the appointment was cancelled on arriving for my massage). I found it unacceptable to be paying regularly and receiving nothing in return. Finally, due to this shoddy treatment, called to cancel my membership. The individual to whom I spoke about this never inquired as to why I was canceling, and didn’t seem to be at all concerned about it. I would gladly resume my membership if I could be assured that I wouldn’t be fleeced in that manner again.
