Where
do
I
begin?
If
I
could
honestly
give
0
stars
I
would.
Initially,
this
practice
was
referred
to
me
by
my
family
dentist
as
she
said
they
were
more
equipped
to
handle
kids
who
needed
work
done.
I
initially
went
to
them
and
the
first
few
times
the
staff
was
friendly
but
I
noticed
that
they
seemed
to
charge
an
arm
and
a
leg.
My
kids
has
cavities
etc
that
needed
to
be
filled
and
I
noticed
every
time
i
made
an
appointment
the
staff
would
call
me
the
day
prior
and
give
me
an
astronomical
amount
which
was
owed,
though
I
had
insurance,
and
say
you
owe
this
when
you
come
in
tomorrow.
This
happened
a
few
times.
One
of
the
times,
when
I
was
in
the
waiting
room,
I
heard
one
of
the
other
parents
complaining
about
the
same
thing.
I
asked
the
staff
why
are
they
always
calling
last
minutes
with
financial
responsibility
and
they
stated
that's
when
they
hear
back
from
the
insurance.
I
asked
for
the
EOB
that
the
plan
sent
in
and
it
was
dated
two
weeks
prior
to
them
calling
me
to
let
me
know
what
I
owed.
What
made
things
much
worse
there
was
when
I
took
my
youngest,
"A"
who
is
5.
She
had
numerous
cavities
that
needed
to
be
filled
so
I
took
her
for
an
exam
and
I
was
told
she
had
13
cavities,
needed
3
silver
caps,
plus
a
root
canal.
I
was
given
an
EOB
from
them
totaling
close
to
5k
and
was
also
told
they
would
have
to
break
the
treatments
up
into
4
sessions
and
A
would
be
given
Midazolam
every
time
to
be
put
under.
I
was
super
surprised
and
uncomfortable
with
this
as
she
had
always
been
good
with
cleanings
etc.
The
hygienist
also
said
parents
are
not
allowed
in
the
room
when
children
are
under.
I
asked
why
that
was
and
they
said
it
upsets
the
parents.
I
told
my
husband
and
we
spoke
to
our
family
dentist
who
referred
us
and
she
stated
this
did
not
seem
right.
I
took
A
for
another
consult
with
Tender
Smiles
and
this
time
asked
to
speak
to
the
dentist
about
her
being
put
under
which
they
did
not
allow
me
to
do
so
we
did
not
move
forward
with
the
treatment
there.
Months
went
by
and
I
decided
to
get
a
second
opinion
and
found
another
practice
that
worked
with
my
insurance.
The
staff
their
was
super
friendly
and
open.
I
told
them
about
my
experience
with
Tender
Smiles
and
they
were
shocked.
After
A
had
her
new
consult
I
was
told
she
definitely
did
not
need
to
be
put
under,
she
did
not
need
a
root
canal
nor
any
silver
caps.
We
recently
finished
all
of
her
treatment
with
them,
also
done
in
four
sessions.
Tender
Smiles
had
always
charged
me
for
nitrous
saying
it
wasn't
covered
which
I
found
out
was
also
not
true.
I
paid
nothing
other
than
my
$50
deductible
with
the
new
practice.
I
shelled
out
hundreds
of
dollars
every
visit
with
Tender
Smiles
needlessly.
They
are
not
in
the
business
of
taking
care
of
kids
but
in
the
business
of
ripping
off
desperate
parents.
I
would
never
refer
anyone
to
this
practice
and
asked
my
family
dentist
not
to
do
so
anymore.
Parents,
if
at
any
point
your
are
uncomfortable
with
your
child's
care
in
any
healthcare
setting
always
seeks
a
second
opinion.
They
were
ready
to
put
this
child
through
unnecessary
anesthesia
4
times
without
hesitation.
The
lack
of
morals
and
ethics
are
disgusting.
Definitely
avoid
this
place!!!
