I have written very few reviews on google and this was one that I contemplated writing because I don’t like leaving bad reviews on small businesses. I bought this flan from here today and found a bug on it. At first I thought it wasn’t but after closely zooming in with my phone, I noticed it was a bug. This is why sometimes it’s just better to eat at home.

Great restaurant with amazing food! Though the restaurant can be a too crowded with people and you have to wait in line for a while, the good more than makes up for it. I honestly can’t stop coming back to this restaurant to try all kinds of Hispanic foods, and it’s atmosphere is just warm and friendly. Most if not all of the servers speak Spanish, so communicating only with English could be a problem if you don’t note down what you want with Google translate and know what your in for. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great Hispanic meal nearby. This is what I got for takeout, however I would recommend “Los tres golpes” for breakfast, and “Arepa(s)” on the side for a little treat if they aren’t sold out.

Some of there was was good till I seen they have ROACHES!!! 🤮🤮 AND Empanadas are sooooooo bad but I did love there 3 Leche cake its so good tell I seen someone's post with a bug on a flan .....thats it for this place for me .

Really good food. Some of the waiters are friendly and intersted in customers needs. Only turn down is that they don't speak english. You might come across one or two that speak english but it's not clearly spoken.

I loved it here. My kids don't really like take out as much but they kept saying mommy this food is so good. I ordered the goat and let my kids try and it was amazing. I would always come back amazing place❤

Great place to get some good food. Staff in here are amazing, they do take care of you, and they gonna treat you in a great way. Everything clean, and all tastes good in a good price!

Food was decent ; not spectacular but not bad either. Waitress was working hard but they also had her working the takeout counter as well. This led to an overly long wait for our food. Restrooms also need to be cleaned. Yucca was very good with a garlic source. BBQ chicken was standard. Not a bad place but nothing to get excited about either.

They food taste reheated. I order monforgo with shrimp and my order came out to 30 dollars plus tax. I call other restaurants in Perth Amboy and the average price is 18 to 24 I will never go back there and there fooo isn't ever fresh. They are expensive for there reheated food....zeros in my book

Revamping my review. I have just ordered delivery because i am sick and can not go out. But my soap taste like box soup. It aas horrible. My rice with beans smells brunt. There food is normally good. I was not happy this time. The soup was very watery. I was hoping it would be thicker. I got charged 27 for a large soup, green jucie, sma rice and bean combo. Almost 30 bucks for 3 small things. I love there food. Just disappointed.

Great place to get a very good quick Hispanic traditional meal. I f you are in a hurry you can just walk up to the counter and choose your selection for your meal and they will deliver it to your seat or take it out. Also, if you have time they offer dinning services. Shout out to Don Manuel, the owner, from Edgar "El Hombre del los Salami"

Great Dominican food. I highly recommend the steak and chicken Gordon blue. The service is excellent. You can eat with your family or friends in a very cozy environment.

The food is very good but the Waiters are very mean and ignorent plus thier is no air condición also thier is an unpleasnt smell of bathroom it smelled like someone took a dump infront of you also the drinks are very warm also you have to ask for spoons and forks ect also they dont give napkins and they take thier sweet old time to walk and serve the food

I seen the bad reviews and I still ordered. My experience won’t be the same as everyone. I’m so glad I did. I ordered off of Uber eats. On there Yu order things separate . Meat and rice. When I called to confirm that the lady was soooo nice. This food was so damn good. I had the empanadas , red bean , tostones and the oxtail. It was Amazing I tell you. For the price the food was enough . I have left overs yummm . I drive semi trucks and I will be saving this on my favorite list. Thank you sooo sooo much.

Good consistent food each time. Love ordering food here for catering. They are reasonably priced and provide quality food for parties/catering. Will continue to buy from here.

Food is good and staff is nice. However, Fox News is always blasting from the TV screens. There's a disconnect somewhere. A Dominican restaurant blasting political dirt at itself.

The food was good, and they had an excellent variety. The only issue is that all their food is under heat lamps which were not keeping the food hot. The food was warm at best. More colder than desirable. The place itself was roomy and comfortable to eat in. The bathroom was clean, and so was the restaurant. The service was ok. Even though there is a parking lot across the street, it was challenging to find a parking spot due to all the other businesses in the same area. It took me about 15 mins to find a park. I

Food was good. Ordered the Beef Stew, Oxtail, Chicken Corden Bleu, and a piece of Pastelon. The Pastelon could've been better, imo. Oxtail could've been more tender, but flavor wise, was okay. The Chicken Corden Bleu was my fav. The Arroz con Gandules was good as well and the green salad brought everything together. Prices weren't too bad either.

Absolutely amazing Spanish restaurant! Food is beyond great, friendly and nice workers and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back

Really nice family oriented restaurant with great service. My partner's family loves coming here so much, they drive out of the way to come here. They have great Dominican food and are very accommodating

Bought a small pork for New Year’s Eve. We ate from it a little bit and next day after pulling it out from the fridge the pork had a bad smell we have to put it in the garbage. We end buying some chicken. I called them and they trying to tell me if I put the pork hot in the fridge it went bad. I will not buying no more pork there like that if I will lose money.

I had them cater some bass fish for my wedding, and the guests enjoyed it so much. The price wasn't too expensive either. I always get wel prepared food here. I am not Spanish, but I want a different taste of food sometimes. This place has that different taste.

I live over an hour away, where quality Latin food is scarce. Anytime I’m in the area, I stop by for takeout. I always order up to 3 containers of food and dessert. They’re always busy (and there’s usually a line) but they never miss, in terms of taste.

Empanadas were disgusting. Hard and dry. It was a waste of money. My Colombian friend invited me over for empanadas and she made them so fresh and juicy. If you can’t even fry one empanada for a customer, then why sell them?

Very good indeed! The premises were clean and bright. The food was well seasoned and great portions. The ladies were attentive and I would definitely go back the next time in Perth Amboy.
