Penang will indefinitely always be Penang. Try too hard on flavor but will price their food a little more expensive than their competition, give you a little less portion than others, and service is based on luck. Same formula since their renovation a while ago. I mean it's good eating, I just feel like I get ripped off every time I eat here.

Walked out of this hotel after my first bite. Save your hard earned money and buy some donuts from next door instead. To begin, the service was really bad. The waitress was trying to push the most expensive item on the menu when aaked for a recommendation. We said we wanted some tea and she just slammed it on our table. The place was filthy. Menu had some left over food from god knows when. Cutlery had oil stains. The food itself was so greasy. I paid 25 dollars for the dish since it was recommended. When i said i didnt like the food the waitresses got angry and started mumbling in their language instead of apologizing.

Went in for lunch right as they opened. They were still setting up other tables so we understand that it would take some time as they just opened. After sitting there for 5 minutes I had to ask for a menu. 1 was given then we were ready to order. Asked 2 people for tea and water and neither said anything to us just looked at us. After 15 minutes me my mother and toddler had to leave because no one came to check on us or give us our tea and water. We were patient but was ignored.

I got a soup and it was really good but my boyfriend got a chicken dish and it truly wasn’t the best but the food isn’t even the problem. The service was low-key crazy like after they seated us we sat there for a good 45 minutes without a single person like saying a word to us. And it got to the point were my boyfriend asked someone if we could get served and they just didn’t respond and it wasn’t even busy😭😭. And when someone took our order they were just like what do you want and then left 💀💀. The place is really cute and nice tho not gonna lie

The young lady had such an attitude. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day, lazy day, or not care at all. I was glad an older waitress attended us after she neglected us, and she was so sweet and helpful picking our dishes. She was on point with her knowledge of the dishes we ordered. I love her❤️

Used to come here often as a kid and 20 years later it’s still as good as I remembered! The roti canai is a must and the curry that comes with it is just amazing. I also highly recommend the salted fish fried rice. Really great flavor and I love the crispy salted fish bits. Great service and food!

Authentic Malaysian & Thai food can be experienced for a pocket friendly budget. We ordered Thai red chicken curry which comes with loads of vegetables. Very authentic taste and enjoyed it. Also the Indian chilli chicken version was quite dull and tasteless. Singaporean rice noodles was also ok type.

Love this place. Food is always delicious and hot. The golden pork chops are the best. Been here almost every week since I’ve discovered it. Haven’t disappointed me yet.

To me Thai means this restaurant (after Bennies Thai in lower Manhattan which is now closed). I usually bring my friends or family here. Everyone likes the basic authentic Thai flavor of the dishes here. Not a fancy restaurant but still a very good ambience for families to have some good Thai for lunch or dinner. Recommended for anyone here in N Brunswick/ Edison close to US 1 who wants to enjoy some good Thai food. I love their Red and Green Thai curry with rice. Price wise it’s OK. Not cheap.

Haven't been here in so long that I was eager to go back. This used to be a frequent spot i would visit. E were pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much of a wait. We were seated right away and ordered the roti, Hainesese chicken, pad thai, and Sarang Burong. The Sarang Burong is my all time favorite, the taro bowl is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. All the seafood is so flavorful and is excellent with rice. Next up is the roti. The curry is creamy and paired well, just wish we had more roti! The pad thai is average, a bit too sweet for me. As for the Hainanese Chicken, I'm not really a fan of cold chicken so my review of this is bias. Overall, still a great place to dine. Staff is friendly. The only issue is parking. The lot is quite small so I would recommend parking in the Kam man lot that is adjacent to the restaurant.

Thoroughly disappointed with the Nasi Lemak served by them. It was more of a chicken curry. It shouldn't be called Nasi Lemak. It was missing the sprats and the peanuts. The service was average. The presentation of the food was sloppy. Will not visit again as the food served wasn't authentic.

The staff was super nice and the vibe is boujie but also chill at the same time. Their drunken noodles are super worth it. Worth checking out specially if you are vegetarian.

Malaysian is my new favorite food! The wait staff was very attentive and the food was out of this world. The roti was so good, we also had dumplings and pork with coconut rice.

Looking for something different. First time trying Malay food. Roti Kani , coconut rice, fried honey pork belly and dumplings. All was good. Service was fine in contrast to many reviews. Just a little confused about the lack of cutlery. This proved not to be a deterrent though .

I came here about 2/3 years ago and wow what a sad difference now. We ordered Tom Yum with chicken, Green Curry with Chicken and spring rolls. The first Tom Yum came, but as a vegetarian version, this was sent back and a new one came but it has broccoli in it! As if that wasn't bad, the soup was inedible. It tasted like a watered down Tom Yum soup base with vinegar...gross! The spring rolls came, you took a bite and a gush of oil came out! They were mushy in the middle, no crunch. We put some faith in the Green Curry, the curry was very watery, it literally had peas and carrots in it!!! Not only that, it had broccoli and cauliflower too! I swear it was a microwaved bag of veggies! This restaurant must have changed hands and is no longer serving traditional Thai/Malaysian food, perhaps Chinese. We definitely won't be here, sorry Penang.

My family visited this restaurant many times, since I was a child. We had not been here since 2018 or 2019, however, we visited again today for the first time in five years. It was awesome. The pork with preserved vegetables was soft, kangkong was well-cooked, and the hainanese chicken was delicious when paired with the sauce. We also ordered a pad Thai and that was really tasty. All I'd say is that the kangkong was on the dry side, but otherwise everything was great. We'll be back!

The best Thai and Malaysian restaurant in Edison! Wide variety of options, very biggg menu, everything was tasty, the best desserts and fried rice was next level. Go here without any question, you ll love it and will definitely go back! Love this place 💛💛💛💛💛

Celebrated by daughter's baptism here. The food was delicious and in big portions. The place is clean and spacious. Good place to celebrate family occasions. We had a budget of $900 for 20 people and the food was way enough for 20. I will definitely come back here and will tell other people about this great spot.

The prices were a little expensive but the food was great. The place was very pretty too! The only downside for me was that it took a long time for someone to come and take our order.

Decent food, the same could be said about the service. Clean restaurant, cluttered with chairs and equipment in one corner but bearable. Reasonable pricing, will definitely come back if heading out this way again.

Amazing food with a very great service! Their hot pot is delicious!! We ordered pad Thai, Thai ice tea and black pepper hot pot and all the items were amazing. Overall food quality and taste as just as mentioned in the reviews. I will definitely go here again and recommend this place!

Mixed experience dining here. During my first visit over a weekend, I loved the Drunken Noodles and Kari Sayur. During my weekday meal, I tried the Roti Canai, Tofu Satay, Coconut Fried Rice and Thai Papaya Salad. The Papaya Salad was spicy and I'd have liked the peanuts crushed. I couldn't tell the coconut in the fried rice and something seemed off with vegetables in the fried rice and tofu. The service was slow for a near-empty restaurant

I have been coming here for years and found the food and service average. Tables and bathrooms could be cleaner, waitresses are friendly. The soup was lacking richness, and curry beef was just okay. However, the taro nest is delish, not many places have this dish anymore.

The pinnacle of culinary excellence! We loved the food, ambience and the host. Seating upon arrival was as easy as it could be; the food arrived a little late, but that could owe to our hunger timing it to be longer than it actually was! And, the host in fact seemed to be the only person taking orders, that in fact did not stop her from being slow. We ordered our usual - Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. I don’t actually recommend the crispy chicken, for the portion size is bigger than usual, but other items are worth giving a try. I’m surely getting back in there to try more items on the menu - and, you do too!

08/13/2023 I revisited Edison location again....Food was delicious, but... Still you need to be very patient to wait for your orders even it was not crowded..... B- --------------------------------- I visited this restaurant many times a while ago. At that time, there wasn't any Google map... They have 3 locations, Rt 10, Quakerbridge mall Rt 1, and this main restaurant. I had been to all three. This is the first time after the impact of COVID-19. The taste of its Malaysian cuisine is still the same. Very delicious.... The price is still inexpensive. Unfortunately, I have to complain about the slow Kitchen speed..... I was very unsatisfied at this visit because of this. If you don't mind or are a very patient customer, you still can satisfy your taste buds here.....
