A historical park with some nice places to walk. A good place for an adventure & a photographer! It has a nice relaxing tree to sit against. Some interesting things to find if you just look around. There’s a set of stairs with painted butterflies on it. The lake behind the building has a small beach to walk on and it’s a nice place to watch a beautiful sunset. There’s a statue, cannons, a brick building. There’s no pets aloud so don’t come here if you’re coming to walk with your dog. Otherwise it’s a beautiful park! It’s definitely one of my favorite parks.

County resident, first time here. Came for the international food & craft beer festival. Had a great time and saw how much there is to do and see here. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, have been going here since I was a kid and it’s always a great place to go with family or alone. There’s history that can be viewed here or you can walk along the water and check out the boats going by. My family and I like to go here to have picnics and it’s always cool to check out the cargo ships leaving/ heading to the city. It’s always quiet and a great place to gather your thoughts. The only cons are: The pathways are constantly filled with goose poop- being that the battlefield is on the water, I guess it’s hard to control but it’s tough to walk through. The playground is decent, could be better. I definitely recommend it overall!

Went there today for the history. Really enjoyed it. Nice path surrounding the grounds and runs along the Delaware River. Lots of history markers. Nice place to bring some beach chairs to just watch the river. Can see the planes coming in to Philly international. I would go back for lunch and stroll around the grounds.

Beautiful park with plenty of areas to picnic or play in the shade. Gorgeous views on the water, great walking trails, updated playground equipment with a small and big kid area. Plenty of parking, too.

Nice park and beach access! Beach is very much covered in trash and debris. Would be great if we could all remember to bring a trash bag with us to fill up as payment to use this free natural space.

I have been coming here as long as I can remember and have come full circle from coming here with my mom as a kid to bringing my granddaughter here to picnic and play. They have done a great job over the years maintaining the site and adding to it. There are a good variety of really nice paths to walk. I am speaking from the point of view of someone with severely limited mobility. I was able to get around the entire park on my electric scooter by using the paths. There was also a handicap stall in the bathroom but it was a bit tight in the bathroom. They had a separate small playground for the little ones under five years old which was really nice. They had plenty of picnic tables and two pavilions that can be reserved. Aside from all of that this is a historically significant property. You can tour the house at the heart of the property. This is also a waterfront location which is really nice. My only complaint and I don’t think they can do anything about it, they are over run by geese and therefore we couldn’t walk anywhere without stepping in their feces. We will definitely bring our granddaughter back here and come back here to walk.

My daughter and I love this place. It is tranquil, clean and an overall great place to be. We love the playground, watching the air planes fly over our heads from the PHL Airport, discovering wildlife and looking out at the river. Also a great place for Pokémon Go. Plenty of Poke Stops and routes to take.

First, this place is historical, the old Whithall.homestead still stands. You have a great view of the Navy Yard, the planes landing/taking off from the airport, playground for the kiddos. There are also covered areas with tables where you can have parties. And then their are the sunsets!!! Which is my favorite part of the day to go. We have been going for years!! So we love this place! A good time for FREE!

Beautiful, large park with shaded walking paths. Right along the river and you can see planes coming and going from PHL airport. Playgrounds and a picnic area. Not too crowded on weekdays. We love it here!

I honestly love this park. Great to take the kids, have a party or just walk around and enjoy the view. It is very peaceful. I see a lot of people walk down and skip stones or hunt for shells when the tide is low. Perfect place to play Pokemon Go which is a bonus! This is my husband and I's go-to spot to play when we have the time.

Had a pleasant time looking out over the water, enjoying the evening view of Philadelphia. It was a hot day, so we sat on a bench under a tree, watching the boats on the Delaware River go by & the active wildlife that surrounded us.

Stopped by on my way somewhere else. Stayed. Didn't make it to the somewhere else. Kids had a blast at the playground and we ended up having a picnic. The house tour is fantastic. Wish they had a gift shop there. Great place to visit

Great place for the family with plenty of activities!! Including a large and small (for younger children ) playgrounds, a butterfly sanctuary that's enclosed that's open to the public at certain times of the week and day, a decent amount of literature posted on plaques around the park about the history of the battles that took place there, once in awhile have reenactments of the battle that took place there, tons of benches mostly facing the Delaware river for a fantastic few of Philadelphia city and the sorounding area's ( also of Philadelphia airport where u can see planes take off and land), can walk down on the shore of the Delaware river and can skip rocks to see who can have the most skips, the park also has a small Pier that is over the waters of the Delaware ( no fishing allowed) also have special events during the summer such as concerts, plenty of wide open areas for picnic's They also have large pavilions you can rent out for parties! ( can hold around 50 to 75 people) also have 2 fixed grills at each end of the pavilions for a total of 4 grills for each pavilion!!

Okay so this place is pretty special to me. I used to come here with friends when I was younger. My husband and I come here a lot to take walks and it's a really nice place if you ever want to just park and look at the water, have lunch or just watch sunsets. So that being said, this place holds a lot of good memories for myself and my husband. Definitely worth going down there to check it out.

Beautiful park. Short river walk on flat concrete path perfect for those with disabilities. Understandably and unfortunately for myself "No Dogs Allowed" though i did not see where that was posted. Plenty of open spaces for sun bathing and shade trees for those who don't and a nice sheltered section for picnics and a playground for little children.

Spoke to a veteran's wife who told me how much her husband enjoys coming here just to sit and relax. I visited just for that myself and was not disappointed. Its a beautiful place to sit and think.

Awesome place for a stroll along the waterfront and watch planes landing at the PHL. Decent playground with picnic tables. Note that dogs are not allowed in the park.

Really nice walking path along the Delaware river. They were upgrading the steps to the upper area so they take care of the place. UPDATE the steps look great! The museum is open and it's new roof is great. The Canadian geese eggs hatched! Nov 2022 the grounds are well taken care of. Some weekends have special events. Security patrols the grounds very efficiently.

We had a great day. Everyone was social distancing and being respectful of other people's space. Next time I'll take a few trash bags for the beach area. What a great project for the local scouts to take on.

Red Bank was beautiful today. They have done a lot of updating the walk, benches and more. And today we were serenaded by a bag-piper. Just a delightful, relaxing time. Thank you, Gloucester County. .

You can spend a day at this historic place. Walking along the beach, looking at all the cannons, strolling through the colonial garden where they grow medicinal herbs and just reading about the significance of this place.

My husband and I come here to play Pokemon Go. This is a great park! Nice views, really nice open spaces with enough shade. Really like the breeze coming from the water too if you're right at the waterfront. Only thing I don't like is the amount of geese! Nothing to be done about it, but they leave an immense amount of poop in certain areas of the park.

Love this place so much. Many historical places to explore. Always a breeze off the water, not crowded on weekdays. My daughter and I ate lunch in front of the water today. Watched the sailboats sail by, and some planes land. If you are into it, it's also an amazing Pokestop.

Well maintained premises. New stairs down to the bank trail. Plenty of benches spread out in the shade whether near the parking lot or along the waterfront. There is a pavilion for groups and individual picnic tables so you can pack a lunch or dinner. There are no charcoal grills allowed. The signage is well maintained highlighting the Battle at Redbank. Garden at the homestead is very pretty. Plenty of handicapped parking.
