Resident
here
who
moved
in
March
2023
so
here's
my
review
so
far:
Management:
5/5
Ben
and
Alex
are
both
lovely.
They
take
on
leasing
and
property
management
and
both
are
above
average
when
it
comes
to
folks
you
want
to
work
with.
Ben
is
extremely
detailed
and
accountable
-
he
will
miss
nothing!
Alex
is
his
manager
and
she
is
approachable
and
also
very
responsive.
The
units:
1/5
If
you
tour:
The
doors
are
made
of
cheap
thin
materials
so
touch
them
to
make
sure
you're
okay
with
it.
Within
the
unit,
sound
travels
through
the
hollow
doors
so
if
you're
noise
sensitive
this
may
be
an
issue.
The
entrance
door
is
also
hollow
and
most
noise
in
your
unit
will
transmit
into
the
hallway.
Appliances
are
nice
except
for
the
dishwasher.
Cheap
brand,
flimsy
thin
door
and
inside
rack.
Very
loud
when
operating.
***If
you
have
pets
or
kids***
your
dog
barking
or
kids
crying
can
be
heard
down
the
hallway
so
if
privacy
is
important
this
may
be
a
deal
breaker.
You
can
clearly
hear
conversations
from
your
neighbors
as
you
walk
the
hallway.
In
our
case,
our
neighbor
complained
so
much
about
our
10
lbs.
dog
barking
(when
we
would
come
home)
that
management
moved
him
b/c
he
could
hear
it
through
his
door
from
the
hallway.
I'm
sure
our
toddler
crying
didn't
help.
While
the
walls
are
pretty
solid,
the
ceiling
is
not.
We
can
hear
a
child
running
on
top
of
us
all
the
time.
We
have
a
toddler
so
we
understand
but
if
people
walking
loudly
or
kids
running
bother
you,
this
could
also
be
an
issue.
Windows
are
filthy
from
the
original
construction
with
not
only
dirt
but
also
black
paint
from
messy
exterior
painting.
Management
said
they
would
clean
it
but
they
are
having
a
really
hard
time
finding
vendors
to
do
this.
We're
still
waiting
to
see
clearly
out
our
windows.
Photo
provided.
My
biggest
pet
peeve
about
the
unit
is
the
central
air
unit.
The
smallest
room
has
the
biggest
vent
and
the
biggest
room
has
the
smallest
vent
causing
uneven
cooling
and
heating.
The
air
intake
vent
for
the
unit
is
also
in
the
living
room
so
in
the
winter
and
summer,
it
kicks
on
for
us
every
10-15
mins
and
the
unit
is
so
loud
it's
hard
to
watch
tv
so
you're
constantly
adjusting
the
volume
to
hear
what's
going
on
and
then
it's
too
loud
when
the
unit
is
off.
Imagine
watching
a
3
hr
movie
at
home
and
doing
this.
Amenity
space:
3/5
They
are
beautiful,
made
for
Instagram.
Functionally
speaking,
the
gym
equipment
was
probably
ordered
by
an
design
intern
who
never
stepped
foot
in
a
gym.
You
want
the
core
machines
and
it's
not
all
there.
The
kids
room
is
outright
dangerous,
please
beware
and
have
your
hands
on
your
kids
at
all
times.
The
height
of
the
structure
is
unnecessarily
high,
again
probably
designed
by
a
designer
who
never
had
a
kid
or
visited
a
playground.
The
floors
are
not
padded
so
there's
thin
commercial
carpet
on
cement.
There's
gaps
at
the
top
of
the
structure
so
if
your
child
falls
down,
they
will
for
sure
need
to
go
to
the
ER.
The
slide
is
so
vertical,
any
child
will
fly
to
the
floor.
I've
shared
these
safty
concerns
will
management
and
we'll
see
if
they
will
make
improvements.
***If
you
are
a
remote
worker***
I
moved
here
b/c
I'm
remote
and
loved
the
idea
of
the
individual
meeting
rooms
and
the
17th
floor
lounge
to
work.
I'm
a
heavy
user
of
zoom
so
I'm
on
video
calls
ALL
DAY
and
the
wifi
at
times
cuts
out
and
there's
a
10
mins
dead
window.
If
you
are
presenting
or
can't
disappear
unannounced
to
your
co-workers,
this
may
not
work
for
you.
I'm
still
working
with
management
to
figure
out
how
to
fix
this.
Currently
the
wifi
has
been
down
for
the
past
week.
Also
know
there's
about
4-5
apps
you
use
to
access
the
building
and
manage
your
living
at
the
Smyth.
My
phone
doesn't
get
cell
service
in
the
building
so
I'm
dependent
on
the
wifi
to
use
these
apps
to
do
things
like
use
the
elevator
or
access
my
unit
door.
The
wifi
isn't
always
reachable
or
stable
for
my
phone
which
can
be
stressful
when
you're
trying
to
move
within
the
building.
These
things
would
have
been
good
for
me
to
know
when
I
moved
here
so
I'll
give
another
update
in
a
few
months.
