Avoid the New City office if you are looking for a primary care doctor that actually provides care. Over the past 3 weeks I have been trying to refill a necessary medication and have left 3 messages for my primary care doctor at this office at different times of day, and my pharmacy has reached out twice with no response. I can't believe anyone could run a business like that.

Been calling for 2 weeks and leaving messages on portal. Can’t get my medication refill. Begged, pleaded and spoke to a nurse and supervisor. No return calls and still no medication. Unacceptable and incompetent service. Very disappointed

Dr. Bryan did a thorough comprehensive evaluation/exam of my conditions. The meeting couldn't have been better. He engaged in detail about my questions.

8/7 after writing the first review and paying my account in FULL plus the check was cashed over a week ago. They now send me to collections for more. When I called the lady couldn't understand what the bill was for or why they sent me to collections!!! I'm still waiting for a response, this is absolutely horrible and unethical, how they can ruin somebody's credit because of their mishandling bills!! Someone needs to investigate this. First review I have no issues with the doctors, they are great. My issue is with their billing department. I have been paying monthly towards my bill, and not a small amount, which I just paid off. Today I get a letter from a collecting agency for $17.08 !! They said it was an outstanding bill from January, yet I have been paying every month !! so how do I owe $17 from January and they send me to collections!! This is horrible and BAD business.. they go and ruined somebody's credit for $17 someone who has always paid their bills never once been delinquent. Not good!! Be careful of these sneaky tactics they use.

The staff at Highland Medical is exceptional. From the individual checking you in, the attending doctors, and those checking you out. Today we saw Grace and Alex. They are a plus to the medical profession

Absolutely awesome experience. Most warm and friendly reception with Sharon as well as the medical technician Stephanie. Great way to start my rainy Monday morning. 😊 The entire staff at Advanced Cardiac Care is awesome. Just walking in, they were very welcoming and friendly and professional. Kudos to Diana, as well as Dr. Southren. Left feeling really awesome. 😌

I had an 8:45 AM appointment for an echo cardio gram and a follow up with dr Bryan. I was done with the test by 9:15. Returned to the front desk and informed them that I was back. No one informed the medical staff of that and I waited approximately 1 more hour for my meet with dr Bryan. After asking again at the desk I was then called in after about 10 minutes. The echo technician as well as Kim the nurse were both excellent.

I have been using Rockland Neurology for many years. All those years, whenever I left a voicemail to make an appointment, they never returned my call. For the first time in years, they finally returned my call. I asked to make a follow-up appointment for next year, but the receptionist told me I couldn't because they were switching to a new system. It would help if you never told a patient you cannot make an appointment and to call back next year. Those appointments should be converted into the new system. Highland does not care about losing long-time patients

Got me an appointment to have my pressure taken, HOWEVER, at 3:00- had not called in my medication. On hold for 30 min, finally went back to office to find they leave at 3 on Fri. Called the on call extension and they said the medication is “pending”. Could not explain and could not get me my meds- now have to wait until Mon- that’s not good for high blood pressure!

If you can, try getting doctors close to home. Chances are they live close by. Avoid the "corporate" type medical providers. Local doctors are more likely to listen to you and take a vested interest in your health. If you feel rushed out of the office visit, find another doctor. Staying in the same group saves time and your files are accessible by the doctor. Highland Medical providers have been working together for me and my family. Good people!!

Dr Mitchell is a wonderful breast care surgeon. She is very thorough, pleasant and professional.

Dr. Bryan is an excellent Cardiologist. Very thorough. I feel I’m in good hands. The office staff are very professional and kind.

Dr Corriel was great. Very patience and explained everything clearly. The staff were very courteous, friendly and also professional.

THIS FACILITY WAS ALSO KNOWN AS CLARKSTOWN MEDICAL Really just a horrifying experience from the doctor that I see to the care I receive. I had the scare of my life from this doctor when nothing was wrong. He makes mistakes and then trys to cover it up. This one doctor speaks down to patients like they are garbage and will send you unecessarily to all different doctors and want to run all kinds of tests when nothing is wrong!. I go the doctors that he recommends me to and the doctors and on four occassions have told me that it was unecessary. I have been seeing him for the last two years and this doctor really needs to acquire professionalism and learn to listen to his patients. You dont ask a ptient if a medical student can be a part of the visit with the medical student standing right there. Then he talks about you like you dont exist to the medical student. No respect for your time and they scedule appointments and the doctor doesnt see you until one hour later. You will also see this level of unprofessionalism with the office staff. They speak down to you. When they were at another location, I was sitting in the room waiting for the doctor and in the next room, you heard one of the front desk staff gossiping with another staff and the office manager goes around speaking down to everyone. Wonder where all this dysfunction comes from???? Instead of sitting around gossiping and treating patients like garbage, spend the same time actually talking to patients, giving thier lab results on time and get patients in and out within a normal time frame or at the time of thier actual appointment, not 1 to 2 hours later.

Debbie is the best, all the staff as well are pleasant. Luz, Paula, Anna, Debbie are the reason I continue coming back and love how well I am treated. I had my two kids c-section with this practice and been coming there since 2002-2003 no complaint

Highland Medical OBGYN appears to be more of a clinic than an OBGYN practice. My second visit was for a biopsy and my experience did not instill confidence in me. It’s hard to get an appointment with an MD and there are more nurse practitioners than doctors. If you want to see a doctor, you could wait a month or more. In my case, I needed to see a doctor for a serious issue and was told someone would call me back to make an appointment. No one called. When I called back, I was told the doctor was not available for 6 weeks but I could see a nurse practitioner in 3 weeks. I won’t go into the gory details, suffice it to say that the doctor that did the biopsy seemed quite inept in doing the procedure. I will be looking for another OBGYN. Further, I did not receive verbally or in writing, any post-procedure instructions. I had to Google what to do and not to do. I was not informed that healing from a cervical biopsy takes 4 to 6 weeks! Also, I was not told that strenuous activity is to be avoided and I’ve been mountain biking and working on my house.

Doctor Levy is a great guy and follows up quickly. I have received prescriptions on time and he puts the order in within 1-2 hours. I enjoy speaking with him and the staff is helpful as well. No issues here.

My doctor is great. The office staff does not ever answer the phone and when I leave a voicemail I NEVER get a call back. How do I check that my doctor gets imaging/test results if no one calls back or answers? I have to take time from work and go in to make sure that things have been received.

Doctors, nurses & staff were friendly, helpful, and respectful. They were forth coming with answers to my questions. Doctors Lee( hematology) and Byran (cardiology) have great people skills. They listened to me and didn't rush through my time with them. I hope this is how they all are every day & not just for my first visit. I recommend HM at this time for one's medical need.

I visited the Highland medical facility Cardiology dept. and received wonderful professional care. They used state-of-the-art equipment. Leaving me confident that my diagnosis would be accurate. The staff. Was friendly and professional. Dr. Bryan showed genuine interest in my heart concerns.

Scary that the gal testing me never even heard of ‘long haul Covid’!!! I told her that when I was on a treadmill in the Pulmonary gym in the hospital that I pushed too fast and my heart rate went up to 160 for more than 10 minutes…..she told me it would still be ok for me to walk very fast on the treadmill for the test. When I told her I wouldn’t walk fast, she had me walk extremely slowly for the test that to my surprise lasted just about 5 minutes. After walking so very slowly, she told me that my heart is fine….I could have just been sitting down instead of on the treadmill moving so slowly….. Sadly, it wasn’t surprising….when I’ve told care givers at the hospital that it’s been strange dealing with care givers there, they say “Oh, I hear that all the time”……

I've been going here for a few years now and they are always friendly and provide excellent care. I miss Dr. Levitt, but Dr. Sykes is great. The new facility is also a nice improvement.

Dr. Bryant is outstanding! His very caring and extremely detailed with his patient examinations. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a top stellar cardiologist.

Cared for in an efficient and professional manner. Answered all my questions. Only needed to have Holter Monitor placed but asked cardiologist a concern of mine.

Nyack Montefiore hospital Dr’s and nurses are all great! Thank you for treating me with respect and as if I was part of their Family! Happy Nee Year and thank you for absolutely everything!
