šŸ˜  I'm so sad to share this review. What started out as an amazing experience (thanks in a BIG way to our leasing agent, Elizabeth, who is a rock star) is turning in to a nightmare and my boyfriend and I have only been here for a little over two months. In the beginning, we had some maintenance reques... People often mention maintenance, time, apartment, told, issues, home, star, months, property, Coventry,

I'm so sad to share this review. What started out as an amazing experience (thanks in a BIG way to our leasing agent, Elizabeth, who is a rock star) is turning in to a nightmare and my boyfriend and I have only been here for a little over two months. In the beginning, we had some maintenance requests submitted that were addressed right away by a very professional team who took time to explain next steps. But now, we have some more serious requests (that likely have to be done by an outside contractor) and suddenly there is no action. Frequent follow up written requests and calls to the property manager were made and still we have no reply. The air conditioning unit in our main bedroom leaks water into the apartment every time there is a heavy rain. There is a growing crack on the wall that is extending around to the kitchen cabinets. While the initial problem with our shower was solved, no one came back to seal/grout the tile back up. We kept being told that someone would come out and reach out to us and so far, nothing has been done. We had been told someone would come to complete the job on a Friday, we made sure someone was home to let them in and give them space to work. No one showed up and the shower tile around where you turn the shower on remains unsealed and ungrouted. I shouldn't have to be worried every time it rains that water will come in, damage the floor and the wall, and create mold not only for myself, but also for my downstairs neighbor. I shouldn't have to be worried when I use the shower or see the wall as the crack continues to grow and expand. We worked so hard to be able to move into a place where we can call home for the next stage of our life. Our neighbors are wonderful, we've had no issues with the in-house maintenance team, our leasing agent Elizabeth has been wonderful. But now that we have these issues, I feel like we're not being taken seriously. It has been at least a month (with the bathroom issue going on two months) and while we are continuously thanked for our patience, it's becoming too much. We're tired of having to deal with these issues. Please think twice before calling Coventry Square home. If you would have asked us two months ago, we would have given it five stars and two thumbs up each. Now, with the lack of attention to these major requests and lack of follow up, it gets this one star review. Why bother calling this place home if there is no help or urgency when things are breaking or when water is coming into your bedroom at 1 a.m.? Even with an emergency request about the leaking the second time it happened, absolutely nothing has been done. At this point, it's unacceptable. It's very discouraging in an otherwise happy place to live. I can't in good faith rate this more than one star while going through this nightmare.

Absolutely not a Luxury Apartment Complex. Iā€™ve lived here for a month & still have not had dishwasher hooked up properly. Had to wait two weeks to have poles put into closets to hang my clothes. Something is wrong with the electrical outlets, I was told that they would be fixed because my fuses keep tripping, still not repaired. Obviously, an electrical fire hazard. Painted/or something else bathroom tile that is peeling, cannot use tub for bathing. Put toilet seat in that does not fit & bottom of toilet not screwed properly. Disgusting šŸ¤® After seeing the man who does the work on the outside of my building, he told me to sue when I asked him when they were coming to fix my apartment.I called and was told after writing a request that I could no longer ask for help.

Edit: removing my 5 star review and changing it to the 1 star it deserves. I can say confidently that living at Coventry was the worst experience of my life. It is a hellscape, no exaggeration. The large apartments draw you in, but I would rather live in a closet than in this slum. I say slum and I mean it- they run this place one one for top dollar. There is NOTHING luxurious about Coventry. Everything is glued together with bits and pieces that donā€™t fit, I had ~15 maintenance requests in my first few weeks of living here. Shutters/blinds hang off of windows , electricity out all the time so say goodbye to your frozen foods several times over. The day I moved in, I had no electricity or water. Zamin showed up and gave me a space heater for one room, then asked me to leave him a 5 star google review (this is why they're all for him.) This happened several times over my 11 month lease. This place is made of tissue paper. You can hear and feel EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. If incessant noise (24/7, literally) doesnā€™t bother you, then donā€™t worry, youā€™ll need to contact management for the other 5000 issues youā€™ll have while living in this sh#thole. And they will not do anything to help you because their policy is to avoid responding for as long as possible. When I first moved here I thought everyone was exaggerating when I met neighbors and they told me their horror stories. Theyā€™re all true. BELIEVE THEM. If you have the misfortune of having neighbors who keep odd hours (nurses, bartenders, etc) and they are rude people with zero care about how loud they are when they come home at 2AM, be prepared to never get any sleep. I moved into a top story corner apartment to avoid having upstairs neighbors, but lo and behold, a nurse moved in underneath me and proceeded to ruin my life for the next eight months of my lease (who knew you could hear/feel peoples noise BELOW you? You can when the sound insulation is zilch!) Coventry doesnā€™t like to deal with issues, so they just offer to break your lease. Unfortunately for me, I had just had major surgery and could not pack up an entire apartment on a whim and leave. They blamed me for this, saying Iā€™m ā€œtoo sensitiveā€ to the beasts running around downstairs and smashing into walls all night, they lie and say no one else complains (I have receipts that this is untrue) and they also blamed me for not being able to move (as mentioned, just had major surgery, was on bedrest for 3 months.) Management is completely useless as best, sinister at worst, constantly gaslighting. I lived in 3 apartments in NYC over the course of ten years and never had any issues like I did here. This place ruined my mental and physical health. Enjoy not being able to sleep because the people around you stomp so loudly that it shakes your apartment like a level 2 earthquake until 4AM or whenever they decide to sleep, have fun listening to everyone blasting bass all night. Grace Kim (manager) is completely ineffective re: all issues. I provided evidence and her response was always ā€œthis is just apartment living.ā€ They were never actually here to witness what was going on because the office closes at 6pm so if you are having a problem on nights or weekends, youā€™re SOL, and phones can only capture so much (especially low frequency noise.) During a town hall last year -I kid you not- someone complained about the 15% rent hikes, and someone from corporate told the person to go find somewhere else to live if they didnā€™t like it. "This is a business" he told the elderly woman and they won't let you forget it; this is the general attitude. The turnover here is crazy and they use cheap heinous chemicals to reglaze tubs so if, like me, everyone moves out when you move in, you can have the pleasure of smelling paints and noxious gasses for months on end. If you move here, donā€™t say I didnā€™t warn you once you start experiencing some of the things that Iā€™ve mentioned here. There are tons of other issues including parking but I havenā€™t experienced it personally so Iā€™m leaving those out. Good luck- and beware.

The property advertises 24/7 security but there are no cameras anywhere on the property. With a property this large it is surprising that they won't invest more in their tenants safety. The front door locks are broken so it takes time to open our front door. I guess this is their form of 24/7 security. Packages are getting stolen each day and their pet policy is not enforced. We have had three close encounters with large dogs trying to run after us. Dog poop also litters the property with a poop baggie on our front door for several weeks. The rent continues to increase yet the apartments are poorly maintained and cheaply renovated. Cheap paint, badly covered up wall holes, cracks running up along the wall, corroded pipes, warped doors, badly installed door knobs, ripped window screens (that can't be replaced due to how old the windows are), and super outdated appliances. We spent a few hours in our car during the summer because their ac was not working and when we filed a maintenance request, maintenance scheduled an appointment and was a no show. The structure of the building itself is awful, you can hear and feel everything your neighbor does. If the front door isn't closed gently by a tenant you will feel your entire apartment shake when it slams (imagine experiencing this late at night constantly). Parking is also not enforced. We have come home many times to find our spot taken and management continues to do nothing about it. Tenants are also forced to pay $100 for cable, we never even hooked ours up. We had hoped to make this place our home for a few years but the lack of respect from the management and the way this property is run has us leaving after just a year. Charging luxury apartment prices when in truth their apartments are worth half that.

Lived here for a year. Apartment itself was okay. Area is safe and the building was kept clean, however walking from the parking lot to our building was a pain, especially with children. I had paid for a garage parking spot, and the first day I parked there, 1 of the other 2 garage occupants left a post it note on my car cursing at me and threatening to tow my car.. the leasing office didnā€™t seem to care when I brought it up

This place is an answered prayer for us, as newbee, location is for us is the best! as it is accessible to almost all we need like shops, church, bank and clinics and even parks! We are grateful to Ms. Elizabeth Acosta who is very warm, kind and helpful from the start. Our queries, maintenance are handled well. We got quick approval too. I have all very positive experiences at Coventry. In fact, I put in a request for a plumbing issue today at 1:30pm....I received a call from the maintenance technician, Zamin, within a half hour and my issue was fixed within a couple of hours. Zamin was very knowledgeable and explained the issue to me. I was very happy with response time and professionalism. I now want to add that I also had a great experience with Robert, another maintenance technician at Coventry. He is super friendly and efficient! It is obvious that he loves what he does and he is excellent at what he does!!! Yet another positive experience with Zamin. Fixed my bathroom sink in no time. Super friendly and professional!!
