One of my favorite Indian restaurants in NJ. Tried butter chicken, butter paneer, samosa chaat, chai masala, chana masala (chick pea) & malai kofta (MUST TRY) with garlic naan. The food comes with complimentary rice. The price is not too bad compared to how good the food is. We were 3 people and our bill was around $60.

Really great food and friendly staff. Every single dish was flavorful and the naan are made perfectly. Highly recommended.

I think the empty dishes speak for themselves! We ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Vindaloo, Lamb Curry, Butter Paneer, Saag Paneer, and Paneer Tikka Masala, with sides of garlic naan and basmati rice. We’ll definitely be coming back again and ordering a different variety of entrees! Thank you, Babu!

The lamb chop was mouth watering and delicious and mixed vegetable in tikka sauce is excellent

Awesome ambience and really good sumptuous food. Service was very warm and amicable. Will definitely visit again..!!! Do try the Goat Biriyani, it's an absolute delicacy.

Had dinner yesterday with my husband. Everything was super delicious. The portions are huge we took leftovers home to enjoy for lunch today. The service is excellent. We will diffinetly be back

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was amazing. The food is. True blend of north and South Indian and absolutely delicious. The staff wa quick, attentive and so pleasant. The chef made creative Suggestions and substitutions when needed. Truly a great evening!

I go to my fair share of Indian restaurants, and I’d say Tabla is pretty good. My family and I enjoyed our time here on a weekday evening. The staff and service was very good, however I’d say prices are a little steep (but that might be par for the area). The restaurant is spacious and has a good ambiance.

No contest. Best Indian food experience around. You can request levels of spice if you like it hot or not. The service is amazing and atmosphere is warm and cozy. The owner and staff are wonderful hosts. My family always looks forward to being there!!

Went here last night with my friends and what an experience! Where do I begin….the place is immaculate and gives you a warm feeling once you walk in. We were greeted by the owner and Mrs Marva (hope I spelled it right) who were so kind and inviting. Marva knew every detail about the menu and accommodated every request we had. She was professional and so friendly. Then we had the food…WOW!!! Every single thing we ordered from the lamb to the rice was exquisite. Thank you guys for treating us like family. We will be back soon ☺️.

I came here with my family for dinner, the ambiance of the restaurant was soothing, and the setting is very elegant. Service was unmatched from the moment I walked through the doors. Manager personally introduced himself to my family and had made every effort to ensure that we have a delightful experience. Food served is truly an authentic Indian cuisine made with the correct spices and savory. I highly recommend this and would come here again!

The manager paul,waiter prerna & the other guy (uncle) were very helpful. Best service & great food ever. i always recommend this place price are resonable .the atmosphere is like awesome. I wish I could give them more than 5 star. Thier catering menu is also good .great price. Last night I had dinner here with my family and the food was amazing. We were greeted by the owner who was so kind. As soon as we settled, they got curry and rice for my toddler which kept her busy. I did not experience this level of service anywhere else. Every single food item we ordered was amazing. Thank you for treating us like a family. We will definitely come back.

Best Indian food in town, Great atmosphere, clean environment, perfect portions. We all left satisfied and very very pleased with the services. If you never had Indian food before, you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to return.

Loved the food! They had both lunch buffet and ala carte menu options. We took the latter and ordered vegetarian and vegan food. The server was very nice and got us the food as requested. The owner also was a very friendly person and shared the story of the name of the restaurant. Would recommend.

I judge almost all Indian Restaurants based on how good their Biryani is and this was definitely not good. For the price ($28 for Chicken Biryani), neither the quality or quantity was good. Chicken Lollipop and Gravies that I had ordered were pretty good though, and if I had just tried that I would have probably given them 4 or 5 Stars but the Biryani was a huge disappointment. I would recommend this place for Appetizers and Curries

My mom came from India and I took her there for lunch today. We order lunch special, food was ok and there was only two of us in the Resturant. After serving our food no one came to ask us how was the food if we needed anything else. I needed salt and looking for someone to get my attention , I was waiting again for bill to bring and asked for that I left my card and no one came to pickup. Finally I said I am.leaving if you want to charge my card, them someone heard me and came to charge my card. I was so disappointed. Worse service . I would not go back there again.

Wow! This place is great, delicious Indian food, very traditional and absolutely delicious! Prepare to sweat because the dishes are spicy! Many vegetarian options, ten out of ten recommend, I am definitely coming back! If you’re in the area definitely stop by and give this one a shot!

Recently got the app, "Doordash", and was hunkering for some indian food for quite some time. My keywords for the search: pakoras and naan. No sooner did I find the page for this restaurant, "Tabla Fine Indian Cuisine". Looking through there menu, my appetite grew. I not only orders a side of vegetable pakoras and garlic naan, I also ordered a DELICIOUS lamb rogan josh, and to wash it all down, a classic mango lassi. I ordered around 6:45, and my food came at about 7:20, not too bad for delivery. The food did get a bit cold on arrival, but I did reheat my food. Let's start: I was craving onion pakoras, but there were simply "pakoras" on the app, so I assume its a veggie-medley pakora. It is strong on squash/pumpkin if you like that flavor...I'd give that a 4/5. Delicious, but that squash is filling! The LAMB ROGAN JOSH was something I was looking forward to, because I've seen many people order it and say it's amazing. I loved it! Only downside? I wanted more meat! There was a lot of sauce to clean-up with the garlic naan, but I was done with meat (+rice) REAL QUICK. I think it's part appetite, but also part inflation. Whatever the reason it was gone too soon! Lastly, I got the mango lassi. I put it in the fridge to get cold again. What can I say? It's a wonderful fruity, smooth drink that washes all the spicy food down and gives me a fresh palette. There mango lassi has a slight hint of cardamum, fyi. Besides the meat issue and pumpkin-heavy pakoras, this place was a gem! 4/5! Would recommend!!

We ordered gobi aloo cauliflower and potato was raw uncooked. And also we ordered lamb Rogan josh it was tasteless. We also Ordered laccha paratha it was so dry. Not recommended…restaurant food quality is not good.

I took my daughter to this place for the 1st time. She loved the ambience and was greeted at the entrance by Paul the manager and was introduced me to the owner who is one of hands on site owner I have seen in my 40 yrs in this country. They bought in a bottle of water with some papads alongwith chutney. The food was exceptionally good and being a chef myself by passion the food had the right amount of spices, texture, the right quantity and all in all a wonderful experience. Because this place is so good the competition around are trying to pull him down by posting some bad reviews. Beats me to it that these people don't know the differnce between turkey and chicken. Goes to prove that this person is deliberately trying to malign him. Please request everyone who knows about Indian Cuisine don't give credence to this negative comments and go and give it a try for yourself and you will enjoy this trip forever. The price is the most reasonable in the entire Indian Restuarant business. Don't take my word but experience yourself.
