3 stars let me say this is being honest about my experience. I thought the staff were kind and the place was clean however I’m rating this as an experience as a whole. First the website lacks any real information and is difficult to book. When you try to call, you get a generic answering machine that tells you to email. This was a little frustrating when trying to figure out what order to book multiple services in. Not to mention you’re paying 100% booking up front with no customer service. The website also lacked any information about how to prepare for your services, what to bring or expect etc which made planning challenging. I thought we would get a email that said “make sure you have this (bathing suit, hydrate well) but there was nothing. If I could give the hammam bath 5 stars I would. That in itself was a 5 star experience, however I should warn you to make sure you are well hydrated! (Also I think that part of booking these services should include an email with this info, which it did not). There is a dry room where you can disrobe and prepare to go in the steam room. The room was hotter than I expected in a good way, and after about 30 minutes my partner an I were utilizing the cold water exposure thoroughly. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip and we will come back for another session! The massages were mediocre at best for my partner and I. We would not book another one. This was not like a normal spa where you put on robes and slippers and relax between your appointments, we had to get dressed and wait in the lobby between appointments - again a detail that was missing in booking and planning. If their communication and website had been better I would give them 4 stars.

This was my second visit to the cave and it's always a super cool experience. I'm so glad I was able to spare the time to stop by again. I mean really, if you haven't gone in for a session somethin' ain't right! 45 minutes per session, for me it was perfect about of time, any longer and I'd be asleep, any shorter I would feel it wasn't long enough 😂 thank you this beautiful experience! 💕

Fantastic. I had the best massage of my life (Jason). Their salt cave was tranquil, peaceful, and provided great rest. We also enjoyed the hammam bath which was a unique experience. It was more enjoyable than a dry sauna, plus had exfoliating and cleansing properties. They even gave us a gift bag! Highly recommend.

I've been to a few salt caves and have never felt anything different although I enjoyed the experience. Coming to this one was different. Within a few minutes I could feel the salt in my throat in a gentle way and loved that we were taken through a short guided relaxation meditation. It was a great way to kick off the session. Staff was nice and the experience was really nice. Gift store is fun too! Would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Amazing salt cave experience. Was able to meditate and didn't realize when time was up. Did a deep tissue massage afterwards that was fabulous! Lauren is amazing! Will return.....a must stop when visiting Asheville

On a long weekend, we booked 60-90 minute massages and a 45-minute salt cave experience here. Easy to find and park, with upper level access for massages and lower level access for the salt cave. Massage staff was friendly and attentive, taking the time to talk through focus areas and adjust as necessary. The salt stone massage is a unique offering if you’re looking for something slightly more special. The services were well priced. There is a small gift shop with salt stones, salt scrubs, and salt lamps if you’re looking to take the peace home with you. The salt cave itself was the primary appeal for this place, with a small group setting in the cave itself with quiet music and water features to help you relax while absorbing the benefits of the cave. You will need to wear socks you’re comfortable walking in, and expect to leave all electronics and shoes at the door.

LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm so happy I finally made it here! The Salt Cave was so relaxing and calming. We also did the Hammam after and just felt great after! Highly recommend if you are anywhere near the area.

This was the best massage I’ve had. Ever. Gail was attentive and focused on the exact areas that needed work. My partner had George and said he was amazing, too. We are both in awe with how wonderful our experience was. It’s well priced, and we would definitely visit again!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone was so nice and the entire place was very thoughtfully decorated. It's absolutely beautiful. We did the salt cave and massage with all the bells and whistles. Don't skimp on the massage addons, get it all, it really enhances the experience. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful salt spa. Relax, improve your breath and skin. Soak up the minerals. Good for all ages. Go often. After the salt I stayed for a card reading and massage. The art work and atmosphere is amazing. I treated myself to quite a few goodies from the gift shop. I love the salt spa.

Highly recommend! The staff is friendly and helpful, the ambience is great. I was skeptical of what a salt cave would be like but it is so relaxing and just good for the soul to lay there, listen to the running water and not have any distractions. I had a really great massage from George and will definitely be back.

What an incredibly healing experience at the salt cave. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we had such a rejuvenating and relaxing experience in the salt cave. Then, we had the most unbelievably incredible massage with a sound healing add on by Jason B and Alex. We are not kidding when we say this was THE BEST massage we have ever had in our life. We are thinking of driving 7 hours every year for a massage from Jason B and Alex, I'm not playing it was outstanding.

Absolutely amazing place! The 45 minute salt cave session was very calming and made my sinuses drain, which is a rare thing for someone with allergies like myself. My head felt so clear for several hours afterwards. I also had a full body massage, and the massage therapist was very professional and did an excellent job. I bought two containers of Himalayan salt infused body butter. I will definitely be back for another visit and hope to try the hammam.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Asheville Salt Cave on Thursday, November 9, and I must say it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. As a frequent visitor to this tranquil haven, I can confidently say that this place never fails to impress. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a front desk person who exuded warmth and hospitality. Their friendly demeanor instantly made me feel at ease, and their willingness to provide excellent restaurant recommendations for out-of-towners like myself was truly appreciated. The salt cave itself was nothing short of extraordinary. The moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped in a serene ambiance that instantly transported me to a state of relaxation. The walls, adorned with Himalayan salt crystals, emitted a gentle glow that added to the overall calming atmosphere. It truly felt like a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But the true highlight of my visit was the massage. The skilled therapists at the Asheville Salt Cave have an innate ability to melt away tension and stress. Their expert hands worked magic on my tired muscles, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and utterly blissful. It was the perfect complement to the tranquil environment of the salt cave. As someone who has been visiting Asheville for years, I can confidently say that the Asheville Salt Cave is a must-visit destination. It has become a ritual for me to include a visit to this sanctuary every time I come to town. The combination of the friendly staff, the incredible salt cave experience, and the top-notch massages make it an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place to escape, unwind, and recharge, I highly recommend making a trip to the Asheville Salt Cave. It is a hidden gem that will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed, and eagerly planning your next visit.
