Mixed review- my massage itself by McKenzie was great, but some of the admin stuff here left me frustrated. I had scheduled a prenatal massage online, and received a call that the provider I had originally booked with wasn’t actually certified for prenatal, so we had to shift around. No biggie at all, they were able offer a few other times. When I arrived, they were super friendly in greeting me and getting me set up. My massage was lovely- perfect pressure and hit the areas I needed. My complaint stems around my intake form not honored, ready specifically around masking. Since I am pregnant, and it is cold and flu season, I asked on the form (in a provided section to do so) to have my therapist wear a mask. Unfortunately no one here was masked, and she did not put one on. I wore mine the entire time, but would have really appreciated my request be honored, or at least for folks to remember given that I had a heavier duty one on. My other complaint is I didn’t receive all services asked for. I had booked an extra scalp massage which wasn’t given, and I had to ask the front desk to take it off my charges. When checking out they push a subscription, which just felt…blah after them not getting my service right, the mask stuff, and having to reschedule. Final point docked because the first person I booked with actually was prenatally certified, so the original appointment should have been fine. Really lovely facility, and great service, but admin needs to get things together. I won’t be coming back for that reason.

I took my daughter in for a facial for her birthday. The entire team went above and beyond to make it a special day including a card signed by each of them. Her service was great and the birthday wishes were really appreciated!

Nurturing, wonderful front office staff. They literally make me feel so calm and welcome. The services such as massage and facials are excellent. They keep detailed notes about the facials so each clinician has a reference to help. I always feel welcome, appreciated and relaxed after visiting this center. Love it.

My husband and I were in Asheville NC on vacation and I booked us both massages and my husband a facial. As I waited I asked it they would be able to get me in for a facial for the next day, and the receptionist worked me in that day due to a cancelation. Starting as we entered the establishment until we left we felt welcomed and the staff was not only professional but friendly. Thank you all for making the start of our vacation a great one. We purchased a membership because there is a Hand and Stone in Sarasota FL, but when back in the Asheville area we will visit again.

The therapists are great but the staff at the front desk are single handedly destroying this business. I have the tightest schedule in the world and am here every weekend and they keep messing up my appts. Insane. I’m even sent confirmation emails and they still aren’t set. I spend 700.00 a month here but I’m done. My monthly membership has been canceled but stay tuned I want to see how they handle this.

H & S First Timer! My experience was pleasant but overpriced. The attendant Brandy was extremely polite and accommodating. The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a décor of what you would expect from a traditional spa. Many varieties of different products in lobby and packages available for purchase but it was overwhelming without direction. My chosen service was a classic facial which is a service that I have not had previously. The service started then a few minutes later my esthetician suggested two skin add-on services - the clarity products and the LED phototherapy treatment. Each $20 per. The actual service was between 45-50 minutes and was performed by the talented professional Makaiya. With out any add-on's If you booked this service on-line you would pay an introductory price of $69.95 rather than the $119.95 I paid. As explained to me, the discrepancy is due to the payment option I was using; a gift card. The gift card, a gift from a co-worker, was the sole reason I went to H & S in the first place. Good business practice?

I really enjoyed Hand and Stone. I received a massage and a facial. I was so relaxed after my experiences that I became a member. I was even able to choose my masseuse and I really liked him he really knows alot about the body and how to help whatever you are needing and tells you why and how to deal with it. And I have my own personal masseuse now. I haven't chosen the person that I want to do my facials just yet because I felt a certain connection with the fellow who gave me my massage and haven't felt that with the lady whom gave me my facial but its takes time sometimes. I highly recommend this business

The staff here is amazing! The service they provide is outstanding🎉 flavored water, hot hand towel upon entering. Daisy my Estheticians is outstanding. Her hands are amazing and she is well seasoned. I wish she was at the Wesley Chapel location🎉 thank you for making our experience 5 ⭐️ star!

Been coming here for several months now. The front desk is always kind and helpful and Kevin, my therapist, is the best I’ve ever had!

This hand and stone has the most talented and caring staff imaginable. For years I’ve bounced between spas because I never loved any masseuse or esthetician. I am happy to say I’ve found my spa home. Make sure to see Angela for your massage, and the incredible Hayley for your facial (but please don’t fill their schedule so much that I can’t see them lol). You can also tell the owner, Tina, truly cares that her guests have an amazing experience. I’m leaving the spa today walking lighter!

I've had hundreds of massages in many spas and private practices. One masseuse here is second to none! The professionalism and customer service is like no other. The owner was a former manager of a Ritz and it shows!

Alexis did my facial and it was wonderful! She was very personable and offered proper customization. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming as well. Would highly recommend to check it out.

Really lovely staff. However, I explained my skin was very sensitive and I still had a reaction that lasted for 6 days. My upper face was so swollen, my eyes were almost shut. There were patches of my face where it was burned enough that it peeled. Even my neck and check were inflamed, itchy and covered in bumps. To make it worse, I bought 4 gift cards I can't use.

I had a great experience at this spa. Friendly and helpful receptionist and amazing massage. Wish I could remember her name to give her credit! I’ll be back!
