Nice place to shop with a large selection. If they don't have your size, use the app on your phone to try and order it that way as well. Works well. Large store with men, women, kids, and infants clothing. Also sale shoes, make up, jewelry, bedding, luggage, and other home furnishings. It is a 2 story Belk with elevators and escalators to navigate.

I have to brag on Kris in fragrance, she helped is look at Make up at the Estee Lauder counter because there was no one there to help us. She was more than helpful since makeup was out of her element of sales, she was so patient as we looked at foundation colors. Thank you Kris!!!!

Steven who works in the purses provided the best customer service experience ! He was very kind and answered all of my questions. I wish I could give him 10 stars because he deserves it.

Hard to find a sales person to help but man do they have awesome selections of clothes!!! Was surprised that there was only one place to try on clothes with that may people waiting, but looking forward to going back again!

The sales lady seemed bothered that she had to show wallets to me twice. Get so tired of the attitude of the younger sales people. Better to order online.

This Belk's store is more helpful than the one in Waynesville. I have trouble fitting in the right pair of jeans. I told the cashier what my problem was, and she sent me to the right place. To get the right pair of jeans. She was a very kind, great personality. She had a line, she just took and was great to everyone

Belk seems to be my choice of better items of clothing for women and children over other popular stores because of their quality. Home items and mens clothing are available, also. The store is well-kept to give it a clean, attractive appeal. I will continue to shop there. It has been in operation for many, many years and, hopefully, will continue for many more.

Located in the mall, parking is convenient, and shopping is good. While prices are high, there is usually a sale to be had for a better value. It has one of the widest selections in the area.

This store --- YAY!! It would be so nice to have the same caliber of store as this one in Johnson City... it is the difference between professional, clean, and in style items and well, ... rude, tasteless staff - (from management down) to a dirty store, with extremely limited options, some 'not thought out displays' and tacky clothing, - all being served up by a staff & management team that should not be working with the public. Asheville Belk is definitely worth the drive- entering into, and shopping in this store is quite pleasant. We are so glad it is only about a 50 min. drive over the beautiful mountains. From clothing, to shoes (boots, especially), to foundations, to bling... to the knowledgeable and friendly staff at the Asheville Belk ... - Thank you!

Belk is a nice store to shop in when they have sales. They truly are over priced on alot of things but it is very clean and has a good atmosphere

Stopped in to see if I could find some shoes. One person on duty but I wouldn't call it working. Slowest person ever. Sloppy dress, bad attitude. I asked for two sizes of the same shoe so I wouldn't have to wait on her again. There were two other customers. She took them shoes then poked along returning to the register. When she finally came over and got out of shoe storage, she decided to bring one pair only and said she'd go back if they didn't fit. I didn't have time for this rude, unprofessional employee. I sat the shoes down and left. Belk likely lost a sale that day strictly due to the the disgusting demeanor of the employee. Didn't get her name. Gray long hair, sluggish. Done with Belk for a while and I shop there every other week or so. The woman behind me noticed and witnessed all of this exchange. Unacceptable.

We came here looking to buy a couple of chain necklaces today. Upon arriving at the jewelry department, Robin then offered her assistance in helping us find the right option for the two of us. She let us try on various different chains, and gave us advice about which ones were the most popular among customers. She was very kind, professional, patient, and helpful. She is a wonderful person, and I can tell that she really cares about making the customers happy. We’re thankful for her amazing generosity, and assistance, and we will absolutely be back soon!

It brings back so many memories walking through Belk when I was a kid with parents and the smell of the makeup and perfume smells! Sadly this family chain will be closing so go while you can to a great department store with history. Everyone is always friendly and the store is always clean-

Employees don’t care. I asked very nicely if an employee could help me find an item and her response was “this isn’t my department, sorry” and made no attempt to find someone who could actually help me. I was prepared to make a purchase but you just lost a sale lol

Been shopping here a few times and really like this store; esp the employees who have all been first rate. We thank them for being among the few who still want to work. My sales person today in cosmetics was Nicki - what an awesome sales person! Made it easy to open my Belk's account and rec'd a special added treat of a Clinique goody bag. Thanks again Nicki! And they always have great sales at Belks.

Like this store and their sales are always great! But really wonder sometimes about the products they stock that are not that great quality, at a high price and then reduce it so it a[[ears you are getting a great deal. We are in temp housing and needed a toaster - every store we checked was out of most brands so we checked Belks. Their doorbuster sale was for a KS (Kitchen Selectives) brand labeled with tag of $39.00 and sale price was $14.99. It works but is really lacking in how it operates. Will donate it once we have our own Breville.

Wife couldn't find a thing that she needed for church, and we left empty-handed. I looked at some of the men's Columbia shirts and shorts while I was waiting for her, but their prices are unreasonable.
