Brilliant coffee shop in an unsuspecting location. Don’t let this hold you back as if you are looking for a proper coffee, this is one of the best in Brisbane. Funky setup, dog friendly and friendly staff. Definitely a must check out.

Love the cafe vibe! Lots of space and natural lighting. Wouldn’t say the coffee is ‘the best in Brisbane’ as some have claimed here, but it is fairly good. My cappuccino came in a nice big mug, and served on large slate board which was cool. Things to note: no syrups, limited food options and from what pastries we tried... aren’t worth it, using brown cane sugar on tables (I believe that’s what it was). Very cool, very trendy, and for the most part, decent coffee! Give here a try!

One of the better cafes I’ve been so far in Brisbane. Good coffee, really nice ambiance and friendly baristas. Had an oat latte and an iced oat latte and they were really well balanced. Definitely would wanna go back here to chill. Dog friendly as well! 100% would recommend.

Well presented coffee in a huge industrial shed which is pet friendly. Our coffee was served in a mug size with three shots but wasn't quite strong enough for me, nice flavours though

I purchased 2x 500g of coffee beans. The wooly blend and the homestead. They are $30 each. I got these two beans and a small espresso on Oat milk and I was charged just over $69. Didn't realise til I had left (I can get a free coffee at any other roaster with a 250g purchase of beans). Tried to call 2 days then sent an email and no reply. Coffee was average and I've used the wooly blend at home and it is average at best. No flavor at all. Bland and boring. Wouldn't recommend

Well this is a little gem of a hidden amongst the car repairs shops Coffee Roaster and cafe. Has brilliant filtered waters, a help yourself endless supply. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the beans and coffee they brew and sell. Also a good range of tea and sweets. Weekends are very busy in this layback cafe and Roastery. With great choice of tunes playing. It’s a great way to start the week or the weekend. Or any day frankly:) Wheelchair and stroller accessible. Also have high chairs for babies. Kidos and Dogos welcome

They have sparkling water on tap, free. This is worth 5 stars and a weekly visit from me. I love seeing the dogs there too. It seems to be an Italian Greyhound hotspot. Would recommend any day. Coffee's are on the pricey end.

A cute corner cafe perfect for watching the traffic and people go by. They have ready made food options as well as a menu to order from. It was coffee and a mermaid latte had today! I can say they were very good quality and the service was welcoming and happy. There is a chalkboard for kids, or kids-at-heart, and clean accessible toilet facilities. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for making my morning! ^_^

We used to have Black Sheep Coffee from our local coffee shop on the Gold Coast but after moving to Melbourne I was relived to find out they ship coffee. The coffee is amazing and I love how you can order the grind that suits you. My most recent order was returned to sender at Australia Posts fault, Katie was quick to respond and my next order is on the way! 10/10 for service 👏♥️

The coffee is excellent, this is such a hidden gem. Behind the garage door in industrial Woolloongabba is a rip roaring trade. Worth a visit. The large coffees are served in stunning hand made mugs, which are so pleasant to hold. It’s a sensory experience! Great pastries, child and dog friendly too. Can’t fault them.

If you enjoy a good cup of coffee, I recommend that you give Black sheep coffee a try, you won’t be disappointed. The coffee itself was def above the average and quite to my appeal. The staff were welcoming and warm, the place radiated a cozy and relaxing vibe. It is good to either grab a seat and enjoy the coffee there or have it as a takeaway.

  • 4/5 Kate B. 3 years ago on Google
Love this place, coffee’s great, pastries delicious, friendly fast service and dog friendly. The one fly in the ointment is their ‘large’ takeaway cups are smaller than standard and they’re sometimes only filled 3/4 full. Which bugs me because I need ALL my coffee in the morning!

Black Sheep Coffee are a well oiled machine, cannot fault any of the coffees. I am making my way through trying them all and have not found one yet, that I don't like. And not to mention the efficiency with their dispatching. I've been waiting weeks for some orders through other companies, BSC do not mess around. And I LOVE the hand written thank you notes every order, thank you for being guns!

  • 5/5 Zeglar “Zeg” F. 2 years ago on Google
Black Sheep represents everything I like in a Brisbane suburban coffee place. Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, nice snacks and food and good coffee. Located in a lightly renovated warehouse in a non-descript commercial area, it still has plenty of character. Very popular with locals, on a Sunday morning it was pumping during our post Bulimba Creek bikeway ride coffee stop. Definitely recommend it, plus the DoughLuxe donuts are great!

  • 5/5 Frances L. 3 years ago on Google
It was so hard to express how satisfied and happy you were after enjoying an amazing doppio, as a coffee lover. But if you did love espresso, you won't miss Black Sheep's, which might be changed everyday but surprise you as well.

An adventure for an appreciator of coffee, very unique tasting coffee that truely stands out in Brisbane, a truely local roaster and cafe with Brissy vibes. Such a great place to relax before the rat race.

I love the Feeling Wooly beans & it was nice to sneak in half the bun for brekkie. Also, added bonus of getting to pat all the dogs.

We had a wonderful brunch here. Friendly staff and service. Coffee and the pastries was great. Pet friendly.

  • 5/5 Kieran W. 2 years ago on Google
Great local roaster. V60 and batch menu always interesting and delicious. Milk based coffees cater for all walks of coffee life - from lighter high acid to classic chocolates, malt and berries.

  • 4/5 Jason M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice coffee and friendly staff. They are specialty roasters with different selections of beans each suited to the variety of espresso based drinks available. Nice industrial warehouse refit- no food available. Big selection of donuts and cookies/slices and there is a burger/food truck type setup there 4 days a week. I’m only marking down a star based on value for money, as I feel I’ve had equally good coffee elsewhere for cheaper but if you’re in the area, definitely worth a visit…

I stopped for a quick coffee grab and ended up with spoilt milk. It was disappointing, I needed caffeine boost but had to tip my coffee out . I had my friends try it as well to see what they thought. Something was definitely off with the milk. I wont be going back.

  • 5/5 Chrissie B. 1 year ago on Google
One of my favourite locals! The coffee is delicious & the staff are so kind & friendly (and often up for some bants which is always appreciated). They normally always have wonderful pastries and cabinet goodies, and occasionally there is a food van out the front doing tasty looking burgers. Very dog friendly too which is a delightful bonus.

  • 5/5 Cristiana C. 1 year ago on Google

I was drawn Black Sheep Coffee because of the amazing word of mouth about how it is a popular coffee shop, with brilliant coffee. It is located in the Woolloongabba near East Brisbane. Speaking with fellow customers and their staff, their shop is known for its high-quality coffee and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Many customers who have visited Black Sheep Coffee Woolloongabba praise the quality and taste of the coffee. I would agree with them as I would describe the coffee as rich, smooth, and flavourful, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. Once you’re there you’ll appreciate the variety of coffee options available, including cold brew, which fantastic for hot Brisbane days but still need a perk up. Additionally, Black Sheep Coffee offers a range of non-coffee drinks, such as tea and hot chocolate, to cater to all tastes. The Black Sheep Coffee is very friendly and has knowledgeable staff, and they genuinely local because they know all the ins and outs of Woolloongabba. I specifically will mention the excellent customer service i have received, with staff taking the time to explain the different coffee options and brewing methods. Additionally, I’ll give praise to the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the shop, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. Overall, Black Sheep Coffee Woolloongabba appears to be a great choice for coffee lovers in the Brisbane area. Its exceptional coffee, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere have earned it many positive reviews and a loyal following.

No doubt, fantastic taste. It's the best latte I've ever tried in Brisbane. My love for coffee, I have popped in 30 different cafes since late January. Black sheep coffee took my heart. Woolly blend has a well-balanced acidity that goes incredibly well with soy milk!!

  • 5/5 Jaimie S. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent coffee. Delicious pastries. Wonderful staff. Very dog friendly. Warehouse style. Free sparkling water on tap. It gets very hot inside in summer but that's the only down side. One of the best coffee places in Brisbane.

  • 3/5 C K. 1 year ago on Google
Coffee is comparable with other good coffee places in town but too expensive at $6 for a 2 shot flat white that has as much foam as a latte. Service 👎 no joy in a cup. Parking is difficult.

  • 5/5 Alexander M. 8 months ago on Google
Good place for parents with infants or dog owners. There's not much to choose from food options, but all available options are good. Coffee is probably the best thing from this place. I get exactly what I want
