This place confuses me. I've been to many Shari's diners and they're usually fine. Shari's is the okayest breakfast diner. Better than waffle house and Denny's but not as good as your local place. THIS PARTICULAR Shari's messed up my eggs in the weirdest way. It should be impossible. I ordered two eggs over medium. Over medium means a cooked white and a slightly runny yolk. They brought be eggs with the yolk cooked hard all the way through but with the white still runny. How do you even DO that? It's baffling. I came back a second time and ordered the same thing and it came out exactly the same so at least there is some consistency. I guess. Anyway I still don't know how they do it. It's beyond science.

I was staying at a hotel behind Shari's without a vehicle all day so I chose to eat at Shari's for both brunch and dinner. They have typical diner fare. Although I must say that my breakfast was wonderful. My eggs were cooked exactly right and they have turkey sausage which is good since I don't eat pork. It was on a Wednesday, they do free pie Wednesdays so I took a piece of Lemon Meringue back to the room with me. It was excellent! For dinner I had the lighter fare Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was tender and moist. The potatoes were real potatoes with the peel left in, they were creamy and delicious, the broccoli was cooked perfectly. For my second piece of free pie I had the Banana cream dream. Again it was delicious. If you want or need a great meal at a decent price Shari's is the place to go!

The place is nice and the staffs are always very friendly. Food are decent, a 7-8 out of 10. The only problem is with the speed. Maybe I’m too “New York”, I don’t like waiting for a plate of brunch for 40 minutes. However, the price is just right, on the cheaper side for me, and unlimited drinks is really a plus for me. I love this place for a moment of peace and enjoy some good, warm food in the morning after biking.

This was our second visit to Shari's. Our first visit on Thanksgiving was excellent. We had great service with a friendly waiter and the food was good. This time around round out though and we will not be back. After being seated our drink order was promptly taken and brought to us. It took another 15+ minutes for someone to come by to take our order. We were okay with it as we understand being short staffed. However, things continue to deteriorate. The country fried Steak was way too peppery, the mashed potatoes were gross, and the green beans completely inedible. The photo shows what was left on the plate when we left. A complete waste of money on that meal and now we have to go find food to actually eat. Only one of our drinks was ever refilled even though they were both empty. We are currently sitting here waiting for our check and have been sitting here for again over 15 minutes. We won't be returning.

We just had the most horrible experience at Shari’s, We ordered our food to be without bacon , 2 of the plates were with bacon and also the pie came served this way, I never saw something served like this at a restaurant in my life…plus the food took almost one hour to come with this disgusting way!!!!! Stay way of this place! Bad service and bad food

I went into shari’s with a couple of my friends today and we had the sweetest server ever! She was in training but honestly I don’t think she needs it! She helped us pick out our options and was super understanding with my pickier friends! She got us our food when it was ready, and she was super communicative with when it would be ready and if there was any delay. Incredible service, and everything was perfect. I will be going back again, thank you Emory!

Recommend: No Not only does their sanitation need to improve according to the county, their cooking also needs to improve.

This place is nestled away off the highway. If you are drive to fast you'll drive right past it. Food is good and if you are looking for pie this is place. Did I mention they can turn the pie into a shake? The atmosphere has a very nostalgic feel to it.

As a former employee I have a photo evidence of how they didn't keep on top of the hot water tank for the dishwasher I ran. They let it, "EXPIRE;" so that the dishes I was putting through "DIDN'T EVEN GET SANITIZED." Even though when I was working at the time I made the Department of Health "GO UP" in "the DOH Safety Inspection rating." I was employed around 2021 to 2022. Three other employees/dishwashers walked off upon being hired because management kept promising raises they would never give. They promised me a raise and my 2nd threat of walking off forced them to keep their promise giving me the raise. The dishwasher had never been cleaned from the"Lime-build up" before and intuitively I knew the State "had to buy purchasing" lime build up removal instructing my boss on how to instruct me using it (vivid memories of State inspector going through while I was working). It would've just "saved time and money" if the State had, "docked my boss/business then" and "skipped" instructing my "incompetent immoral boss" and just coming straight to me with all instructions. Because. My incompetent boss was embarrassed already by everything she was being told, "SHE WASN'T BY LAW LEGALLY DOING." The day I finally walked off the job Spring of 2022 was over, "safety issues" the Kirkland Police; nor, my boss were providing for me. I kept reporting a drunk homeless guy on the property leaving empty alcohol cans all over the place and my boss nor Kirkland Police were doing nothing for my safety because they had no video cameras; so, I walked off the job when my boss nor Kirkland Police were doing anything for my safety. It was used as a good "hot spot" for hiring "probation employees;" so, I learned the hard way, as usual, about the State and Probation Employees 🤷 Maybe they should give notices to the public ALSO ADDITIONALLY on WHO'S ON PROBATION WORKING THERE and WHO'S A MINOR LYING PRETENDING TO BE AN ADULT; because, just imagine all the crime they could possibly still be doing getting away with working with the general public like that with families and everything. Worst place on earth. War zone or hell: you tell me.

Incredibly cozy feel to the place. Big comfy booths. Food so simple and comforting, it hits you like Anton Ego taking that first mouthful of ratatouille. The pies are indeed worth bragging about. Service is good, but my only suggestion is that they could hire more waitstaff. The waitresses I've had were sweet and attentive, but it's a pretty big dining area for them to cover, so it can take a while for them to get to everyone. Shari's is good for a long, relaxing sit-down experience, not a scarf-it-and-scram.

The service was amazing! We went during lunch, so it was kinda busy. Our server was a very friendly, attentive, cheerful, and informative older woman with short hair! She really made the experience enjoyable. The food was good, kinda lukewarm, but the portions and flavors were nice.. It would have been perfect overall if the food was just a little bit hotter. Definitely recommend!

I had a great experience last Wednesday with Julie as my server! She was very attentive and friendly, and made sure to check up on me multiple times + remind me that drinks came with free refills! I've come here before many times and I really enjoy their chicken fried steak from the small plates portion. It's the perfect portion for me and leaves room for dessert! I've tried their lemon meringue pie, Oregon marionberry, Dutch apple, all of them are great :) Their shakes are great too! I love their pie shakes and also the vanilla shake. Always love coming here! Sundays can get a bit busy after the "church rush" but weekdays are great, nice and peaceful ambience!

Best place for breakfast and pie. The restaurant is clean, the server Hillary is the best she is like a tornado of love, and makes you feel welcome. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Will recommend anytime

I ordered a prime rib dip from Shari’s in totem lake 3/4 of it was fat I could not eat it 2 pieces of pie that was broke up. I went back to have this taken care of & all they said was I’m sorry that happened to you.

This morning we arrived at your Kirkland location at 9;50am. We waited 5 minutes to be seated. We asked for coffee, tea, and water. Hostess brought us coffee, tea, and one water. I asked for another water, it never came. The waitress took the order at 10;10. At 1030 the waitress came and stated she was going on break and another waitress would take over. I asked both of them if we would get our food soon? She stated, "I hope so". At 10:45 we still did not have our food. I asked for our ticket, and I told her we could not wait any longer. She went to the terminal and said she would meet us at the front desk. As we got up, she came back and said our food was ready and would we like it to go. Told her no, we have waited long enough. (How long had it been ready? Seeing we ordered it 40 minutes. Was it even warm?) This was terrible service from Hostess, Waitresses, Cook and Manager. (Manager should have come to apologize.) I was only charged for the coffee and tea. We walked out of your restaurant at 10:50. Oh and did I mention that of the three employees that we spoke to, no one give an apology Needless to say, we won't be back!

Used to go quite often for a quick and decent breakfast. Today, greeted by a very friendly lady and seated where requested. Our server was amazing. Friendly, professional and very much service oriented. Thanks so much, Hilary, for good service and a positive start to our day! Recommend! Food, also, fine!!

The food is a solid 3/5. Not bad. But not amazing. However you know what you are getting when you come here. A 4/5 for what it is. Plus their pie, it is great. I’ll give them that. However the service was pretty atrocious. We waiting 20-30 minutes before anyone came back after seating us. Had to flag someone down to take our order and get us the check. It was a bummer.

Very disappointed in this place used to go here a lot, As it used to be good. Unfortunately the past 2 orders we have received were basically uneatable. Not sure why the fries are so brown and tasted really old. The hash browns were not even cooked, basically raw. The chicken in the burger was so rubbery like it was pre cooked and then microwaved. Will not come back anytime soon. Hopefully with some feedback the food might improve in the future.

Nice place to celebrate my achievement of Eagle Scout Rank! Wonderful person named Angie served us and I admire their resilience and patience as they worked with a ton of customers!
