Absolutely doesn’t deserve 4.5 star rating. The confused/odd decor, flavorless lukewarm food, and not-clean bathrooms (with a gas station like cleaning schedule on a clipboard) were all underwhelming. I wanted so bad for this restaurant to be good. However, It is clear that no one is exhibiting the care that a restaurant with $30+ entrees deserves. My 3 star review is charitable.

I am so confused on who is having a positive experience with the food from this restaurant. I ordered ubereats here looked at the food, had a couple bites and decided I would rather have cereal for dinner. I ordered the lasagna, which appears to just be massive blobs of ricotta and the tiramisu, which I’m not even sure what it is that I got. There are so many better options in this area.

I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because I have been before and had a much better experience. However this time wasn't the best. The meatballs were very bland and clearly the meat hadn't been seasoned. Without the sauce you wouldn't have been able to eat them. The garlic bread was amazing!!! The lasagna had the weirdest consistency and just didn't taste good at all. The fish dish was so bland. The saffron risotto was hard and chewy. They brought me out another pasta instead and I add some grilled chicken to it. That was pretty good but by the time we had sat through the other 2 bad entrees I was honestly ready to just ho home. I will try them one more time to see if it was just a mis step however I was extremely surprised on how bad this meal was.

We have been before and it was better last time. The time in which servers came by was for the first timw not enough. We decided to do Happy hour - though we ordered plenty to ensure a good tip, the servers were not attentive. The food was really good! The only negative food experience was they over cooked the zucchini chips. Otherwise it was great! We plan on going back sometime in the future for dinner. The environment was nice, and the drinks were well made.

We found this place by chance when we were looking for somewhere to have a fake Valentine’s Day dinner near Springfield Town Center. The food was so good I couldn’t stop eating it. It was also incredibly affordable for how good it was. We will definitely be making this a regular place to eat for special occasions. Don’t be deterred by the location. We thought we had the wrong address but it is actually on the ground floor of an office building on a side road by the medical center. We parked in the parking garage of the office building and walked around. I thought it was a little sketchy but the place was very nice on the inside.

The Cheese Wheel Experience was awesome! Great presentation and tested phenomenal! Well worth the cost. Appetizers and cocktails were amazing as well. Highly recommend!

Nice environment but the service sucked to be honest. We waited 20 minutes for bread. I had a spaghetti carbonara special and it was full of bacon fat and the noodles were undercooked. The chocolate cake was gross. It tasted stale honestly. The food looked good but tasted meh.

Extensive selection of wine and delicious pasta options. The cheese wheel special looked amazing (we did not order). Very solid happy hour offerings as well. Ambiance was 4/5 because it was located inside an office building which was a little weird to me. Other than that, a very enjoyable dinner out.

We enjoyed this restaurant a few weeks ago. We were surprised of the location and why we never knew it was there. Plenty of free parking available in the nearby garage. We made reservations and specifically went for The Cheese Wheel Experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, light but hearty. It’s the ingredients! When the ingredients are simple, the taste follows effortlessly. I surprisingly enjoyed the Ricotta Cheesecake. It’s not very sweet and the texture slightly crumbled in my mouth.

Such a solid place for dinner. Had my birthday dinner here and got the "Catch of the Day" which was Halibut with Saffron Risotto. Huge portions and very tasty! Tucked back off the main roads, ample parking. Always have a great experience.

Osteria was recommended to me by a fellow foodie friend so I came here with a moderate level of expectations to avoid being disappointed. Maybe it was our luck with our selection of food items but we were underwhelmed with both the food quality and service. Other than the pepperoni flatbread, rest of the apps and entree my friend and I had were more or less mediocre Italian. The taglioni al limone pasta was certainly a disappointment with a ramen-like texture "house pasta" and lackluster sauce flavor - we expected far better for a $32.95 entree. Our server's service was indifferent: she didn't even seem phased by a 20% tip I put on my bill in spite of our mediocre dining experience. Nice ambience and I like that they offer 7-day happy hour. House chianti wine was a-OK and the bartenders do not know how to make good cocktails. This place is a nice one time experience.

This is the third time that we go there , the food is good quality but always the service is very poor. We order 3 appetizers and drinks and it takes so long I’m sure because server take long to place the ticket order and then we didn’t finish our appetizers when the server fire the main course and she came to our table with our pasta, the chef apologized and he give us time to finish our appetizers, Always when I go I really enjoy the food but always the service is poor.

Best dinner we have had in a while! Service was great, food was incredible. We are already planning our next trip. Pictured- calamari, mussels (happy hour menu) tuna and butternut squash soup

My family and I ate here tonight and overall the food was pretty good and I would return, I really enjoyed the Squid Ink Pasta with Lobster and the Gelato was great too. I did not care for the crab risotto it was very loose and not flavorful. Overall the food was prepared well and hot certain dishes was hit or miss for my personal taste. Service was excellent.

I went to Osteria Marzano recently for an anniversary. Overall the food was great but service is subpar. Pros: lots of delicious pasta dishes to choose from. Reasonable prices. Cons: We witnessed their “pasta experience” from the tables around us. Unfortunately it was less than exciting because the staff making the pasta at tableside weren’t welcoming, it seemed like they were tired of doing the task over and over again as people ordered it. Service wasn’t ideal- I had to ask for a water refill more than once and didn’t respond to me when I thanked them for services. The atmosphere wasn’t as intimate as I expected- we were seated in the bar area. ADDENDUM- we returned a second time and the service wasn’t better. We had to ask several times and people for silverware after our food arrived- even the couple at the table next to us asked their server to get us silverware. The restaurant ran out of napkins so we used paper towels from the bathroom, after asking several times for a napkin. Overall, I recommend take out or sitting at the bar.

The calamari was delicious and cooked perfectly. The Short Rib sliders were...kind of wierd? I didn't expect the gravy like sauce. It was almost as if they made stewed beef and added that into a slider. Not horrible, but not great. Wouldn't eat that again. And didn't enjoy the texture it gave the short rib (typically one of my favorite cuts) The pasta I had was pretty bland. For the price point I did expect it to have more of a fresh, flavorful taste. It had a mix of lumb crab, scallops & mussels. It sounded so good from the description but I really didn't enjoy it that much. Overall the food wasn't bad. But just more of a meal I'd expect from a dinner at my friend's versus a $$$ resturaunt. For the price point I think the ingredient quality, the freshness and cooking method could be improved. We spent about $55 per person. 2 apps 3 pasta entrees And one person had a glass of wine. The parking is great. Area feels safe. It's inside a building that looks very nice and is great for photos. Bar seems like a nice option to go after work for a glass of wine. I would visit again, just not for the food. Enjoy the ambience and maybe have some bar bites. 🍸

Food was delicious, except desert. However, service and timing need some work. Took 40 minutes to bring our Salumi & Formaggi appetizer plate, and then the main course was delivered less than 5 minutes after. Pasta was fresh and tasty. Dessert (Crème brûlée) was delivered without the customary crust of crystallized sugar; upon pointing this out, they took it back to the kitchen and re-fired the same ramekin and returned it to the table (yuck!). Tables are crowded together in an awkwardly cramped space, but it’s not too loud (which is frankly unusual and pleasantly surprising for a DC area restaurant).

Fun Italian restaurant that’s right for a special occasion or date night. My wife and I ordered an appetizer, three entrees, and dessert, all of which were very good. The chicken Parmesan was very well crafted and delicious making it one of the best I’ve ever had while the cheese wheel experience was a nice treat and was good as advertised, The restaurant is well run and the people know what they’re doing which is necessary for how many people come to eat. Definitely recommend eating here.

This is an amazing local restaurant that is close to my office and my home. I’ve been here for lunch, dinner and happy hour. The food is excellent, the service has always been wonderful. My only suggestion is that when large groups, such as our neighborhood dinner group tonight, come in to eat that separate checks be created. Other than that, it would be a solid 5 stars across the board.

Such an AMAZING experience!! I can not state enough how much my family and I enjoyed dining there. It was our first time and we live around the area but never knew about this hidden gem but we are so glad we found it and will DEFINITELY be returning. The atmosphere and decorations in the restaurant were beautiful and very classy. The food was very delicious— from appetizers to entrees to desserts. Our server, Keller, was the highlight of the evening. He was extremely kind, accommodating, and patient. I would give this place and Keller a hundred stars if I could.

Excellent place, great foods but reasonable price. Decorations are elegant, very friendly services. Not that much of customer as this is still like a hidden gem. Very good social distancing practices.

Attended a Thanksgiving themed Italian twist cooking demo... which was awesome. Greeting with a glass+ of Proseco, proceeded to the kitchen, and observed the proprietor (from Italy) Chef Marzano prepare turkey, eggplant, risotto in such unique way! Then proceeded to a great lunch of all the dishes, wine, and more!
