The food is very good. Flora is a very nice lady. I would have given this more stars however the young girl who is behind the counter has a lot to learn when it comes to customer service. Her phone manners are very bad and I personally would not have her answer the phone nor greet my customers in my own restaurant. I will continue to patronize the restaurant because it's local and the food is good however the downside is I would not recommend It 2 anyone that I personally know. The irony that is in Flora's favor is that anyone reading this post would consider this a recommendation to try Floras. Additionally, the restaurant is not always open at its posted times. I have driven there on a couple of occasions when it was supposed to be open but it was closed. I had tried calling prior but there was no answer so I didn't know if the restaurant was open or closed. It's a bit frustrating to waste my time like that especially coming from work. Flora please raise the bar on your level of service and let your customers know that you value them by showing them the courtesy of at least a message on your voicemail box. There is way too much technology out there that would make this a very simple thing to accomplish.

Very Honest Review: The food is delicious yes, but I’ve only been able to try It once. I’ve tried going back for 4 days straight but they’ve been closed everytime. The open sign was still on each time, and on google It says it’s open. Today I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the customer service I just experienced. I don’t know if it’s because I’m American or they really just hate their paying customers. I was not greated when walking in. The worker at the bar was having a conversation with a customer and ignored me standing there to place an order and just looked at me crazy. I then tell his man that I would like to place an order. He thinks I’ve ordered on DoorDash and I tell him no I didn’t I would like to place an order now. He then asks what would I want, I told him jollof rice with stew chicken. He proceeded to tell me they are out of jollof in a very aggravated voice, like I am bothering him or something. He then ask me what else did I order on DoorDash. So now I’m confused because we had just discussed that this is NOT a door dash order. Once I repeat myself AGAIN for the 3rd time, he tells me he thought this was a DoorDash order and he just canceled It because I said It wasn’t mines. Huh? How is this my fault. Then get doesn’t say anything else and acts like he’s trying to fix something on the system. Then he goes to the back (i can literally see him through the cracks of the door) and he starts washing a pan taking his time as if I’m not sitting here waiting to order food from this establishment. This was by far the WORST experience ever. Yes the food is great however this whole experience is NOT worth It. All of the reviews I’m seeing about this establishment are about how good the food taste and how horrible customer service is. Oh and don’t get me started on the phone. The phone that they NEVER answer, they had the phone off the hook today when i tried calling to place an order. Goodluck, this won’t last very long.

This is the worst african/ cameroonian restaurant I have ever eaten in. I ordered spicy goat and jellof rice, wow. I got normal oily stew and white rice mixed with the stew as jello rice wow. I couldn't eat the food and yet I had to pay for that trash. Please don't go there. Their food is deceptive n trash.

The slowest restaurant I personally have been in. I did a doordash order for them about 2 times and each order takes literally 30 minutes waiting. Came in on my own personal time and ordered and was still waiting for 40 minutes. Where are the workers to help with service? If you’re doing doordash I would personally skip the order or either do it if you have ALOT OF TIME. Pick up was at 1:20 didn’t get the food till 2:00 The food was not the issue besides it being like warm. Wait for so long I was in for literally a hour almost . NO THANK YOU. Please do better :)

Service was good. Food is pricey and just decent, I bought eru and it's honestly not even close to the best I have had, eru usually comes with different varieties of meats (traditionally cowhide) and fish, this version had stock fish (but the best choice as this is a smelly ingredient not everyone enjoys and the pungent order stays in the air, if you walk into this joint that is what you are smelling) and had some beef in it. The eru itself was mostly spinach, decent food but I could have made it better myself.

Delicious curry chicken and veggie spring rolls!! I got take out and everything was still fresh and hot when I got home! The portions were generous. I want to come back to eat in sometime, it was a nice fun atmosphere inside.

Drove over an hour to this place, only to find out it was closed - all the while the Google information *and the sign on the door* said it was supposed to be open; going by some of the reviews this seems to be a regular occurrence, which I find rather disrespectful to patrons.

I LOVE FLORAS!!!. my boyfriend is cameroonian, I'm American. I had pretty much convinced myself I only like his family's cooking when it came to african food.. but flora's changed the game.. My favorites are the stewed chicken, the cassava leaf, the whole grilled fish w/plantains, and the suya. SHE ALSO MAKES FISH ROLLS!!! my favorite snack.. you can only pre-order the fish rolls. But that's still a plus that she even makes them at all. The service is very pleasant.. the ONLY TINY issue, is because of the overwhelming amount of customers, the turn around time is about 1 hour or more. AGAIN..NOT a problem for us, because we plan for it. We order our food about 2 hours before we are ready to eat it, and kind of just make our way there later..and the food no matter when we arrive is ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH. I DO NOT LIKE SPICY FOOD. BUT my boyfriend has informed me that SPICE is the staple for African food.. so I pray each time I order its not too spicy.. and it's most of the time perfect. A few times I've had to pass the plate to him..and he HAS NOT been mad about it😅. HIS FAVORITES are everything I've already listed.. but ultimately the Ndole (bittaleaf) is his go to meal. The jollof is phenomenal. Love this place. We are committed regulars ❤

Best Cameroonian restaurant in town her food is beyond amazing. Best Roasted fish , jellof rice, and stew. The customer service was great i enjoyed the music and i love the food.I must admit they take good care of the place the restrooms are always clean.

WOW! I appreciate the love in your dishes. Cassava leaves were phenomenal! I have never eaten so much at one time. Perfectly balanced with tender flavorful meats. Same for the goat stew. Clearly prepared by the hands of a loving artist.

Exquisite! The food is incredibly well prepared and tasty is an understatement! I think I've ordered about 11 items and I swear each one has been at that same just yummmmm level!! Cassava Leaf, Ndole, Suya, Oxtail. Great portions. Great price, Great customer services. And yes... I am a real customer the food is that good makes one want to write about it.

I went to her restaurant a few weeks ago and it was amazing the atmosphere/vibe was everything to me. I tried her cassava and it was nothing less than excellent. The customer service exceptional. I will be returning for more.

The food and service is always great but the business hours are inconsistent and the wait times are often unreasonable.
