Non smoking room smelt of poorly disguised cigarette smoke and weed. Bedsheets and pillows also smelt of smoke. Towels smelt clean. Carpet was dirty (not vacuumed) stained, and ripped. Lamps were falling apart or didn't have bulbs Balcony door was falling apart and would barely lock. Walls and doors were dirty and banged up. Breakfast was a bagel, juice, and a granola bar. The kitchen worker was very kind and courteous, I will say that. Wouldn't stay here again even if it were free.

This is NOT a 3 star hotel. This is a 0 star hotel. There were COILED BLACK HAIRS on the towels. Rooms were extremely dirty (I changed rooms and still was horrified). The bed sheets were stained with dirt and had not been washed for a while. The corridor stank of urine & WEED mixed with detergent. The lift brought with it, an insipid smell. Staff were rude and service was non existent. The lodgers were mostly drug addicts or truckers looking for a cheap place to stay. It was more of a half way house rather than a hotel. Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life.

For starters, when I walked into the Days Inn, it was so hot. I’m not sure if this location did not have air conditioning, but it sure felt like it. As I walked deeper into the hotel I noticed that only the front of the hotel looked newer and the rest of the hotel needed some serious maintenance. The carpets are completely stained on the floors leading to the rooms and the elevator. Not to mention it is not a secure hotel AT ALL because the side doors to get inside are completely open for anyone to come in. I was harassed by a random man near the side door which made me feel uncomfortable. A couple of my other guests also stated that a strange woman outside of the hotel also tried to offer them drugs and alcohol, which was very alarming. The light fixtures flicker as you walk down the hallways which is super creepy. Also, that elevator smells like strong piss. The smell is so foul that it smelled like that every single time I got into the elevator. Moving onto the hotel room. WHEW! For starters, the reference pictures online of the rooms look nothing like the actual rooms. My first hotel room had a terrible cigarette stench to it and I felt like I could not breathe. I purchased a non smoking room. Secondly the sheets on the bed were dirty and covered in small brown stains. Then the shower had grime all over it. I was so upset and uncomfortable I had to go and request an upgraded room. When I got the “upgrade” they did not give me a suite AND the room was basically the same expect I had been cleaned better. The decor in the room is very outdated and the phone to call room service was broken. Not to mention the balcony had empty beer bottles out there and their hotels pool was so filthy none of the guests were out there enjoying it. The room only had 2 big towels and one small towel inside and no one came to check on us for two days. Overall, I would say that this hotel visit was not the best. I was especially disappointed because I was celebrating my birthday over the weekend and this hotel completely ruined my experience.

My son fell 3 times in the tub when he took a shower because the tubs are so slick. When I reported it, I was told if I didn't like it, we could leave. The rooms are dirty and I wouldn't use the room coffee makers at all. The pool was opened when it wasn't ready and was disgusting. 0/10 would not recommend.

This place is ran down and horrible. For almost $100/night you would at least expect decent conditions and a clean room. Our room was clearly not cleaned prior to us checking in, just thrown back together after the last guest. I ordinarily dont complain of hotels unless its something big, but there was animal hair and lots of it all over the sheets (fitted and cover sheet), pillowcases, and my comforter. There was mold in and around the closet, dirt on carpeted floors, and holes all over the walls in the room. Disgusting carpet, super stained pull out couch, and our mattress pad had cigarette burns all over it. Smelt of must and Marijuana in the entire hotel. Staff members were friendly but unsympathetic of our blatantly dirty room. I had to practically threaten to leave to get new sheets and a comforter. Only thing that was good about this stay was the location, the pool was cool, and there was some breakfast (very few options but it's there). For the cost this place should be much better. Wyndham should be ashamed for being partnered with this one.

Overpriced garbage for what you get. I paid almost $100 during a weekday, and that is far too much. The rooms are not maintained. One of the drains was clogged, and there was other various types of damage throughout. Worst of all, they closed the breakfast bar early. I went there just after 9 am, but they already had it gated off and were breaking things down, all the while there is a sign that said it went until 9:30 am. At the very least, the courtyard outside of my room looked nice. There were also no bugs in the room. I was able to sleep just fine, but it was not a good experience.

First off, the location is great as far as convenience from a major highway. My daughter lives in Overland, and Maryland Heights is about 10 to 15 minutes from her house. As far as the hotel itself, it could really use some renovations. The balconies are deteriorating, windows were broken in some of the rooms, and the rooms smell like mildew. It reminds me of a hotel that cheaters hang out at. I didn't see any roaches, but our stool in the bathroom was not stable, and kinda wobbled when you sat down on it. In short, this place worked for the time being, but we will look elsewhere next time 😏

Only lasted about an hour in this hotel. There was literally NOTHING they did right. Smelled of weed and cigarettes, plastic wrap on the smoke detector and cigarette burns on the sheets even though it was non smoking. Blood on the mattress pad, gunk in the microwave. Just keep driving. You will thank yourselves

This is absolutely unacceptable I paid almost $90 and end with a room that Heavily smoked smell was unbelievable and bloods on the sheets! Carpet was dirty like door Matt! There was a baby cockroach in napkin dispenser! I changed my room it’s a little better but the sower tub is not clean! Hallway smell weed and cigarette! This is a health hazard Facility! If outside was safe I’ll probably sleep outside and pass my night! Then staying in this hotel!

Terrible. Dead bug found on the floor. Non smoking room had scents of old smoke and perfume. Stains on the wall here and there. Bathroom looked rough around the shower. Probably would've done better at a motel 6. Won't be staying there again. Least the towels were clean and bed was decently comfortable.

I do not recommend going here they have roaches. There hallways smells like mildew and mold is in the cracks of the walls. It's not a bad looking hotel they just need to fix somethings and upgrade some the furniture/appliances in the rooms. They should have the health inspector to come out to inspect the hotel. And Pest control to spray the whole hotel. There lights in the hallways are dim an creepy. They need to fix the lights.

I travel a lot so I can tell you with some experience this place is a dump and you shouldn't stay here. It started off with me standing at the desk waiting to check in for 5 minutes while the clerk stood outside smoking a cigarette. After I finally got a room, I got a luggage cart which had a flat tire. The room itself was terrible too. The room obviously used to be smoking which you could see from the cigarette burns in the carpet. There was still that cigarette odor too. It was faint but there. There was no nightstand between the beds, It was against a different wall. When I tried to move it, it didn't fit. The bathroom was old and kind of dirty. Never stay here. It's a dump.

Don’t do it. Three of us came in from Kansas City for a convention. As soon as we walked into the lobby we knew we were in trouble. This is a pay by the hour kind of motel. I personally don’t mind old motels or motor courts as long as they are clean. This place was filthy. To say our room was disgusting is an understatement.

Dirty. Smelly. Cigarette burns on carpet and bed linens in a non-smoking room. We did not stay the night after seeing the room. At least the guy at the desk was nice when we asked for a refund and checked out.

Immediately walked in and walked right back out! NOPE! Killed a baby roach in the bathroom so I could take a picture of it. Saw one scatter across the sink. They have a BAD roach problem. I got my refund and I am NOT staying here. I do not recommend this place. Baby cockroaches when it’s cold outside = serious cockroach infestation. They have got to take care of this issue.

The service was great but the hotel needs to be deep cleaned. All the carpets are nasty dirty from the hotel room throughout the hotel. The breakfast was terrible. The best part was the pool and the front desk customer service. If the hotel gets cleaned up I will definitely go back and stay again when in town.

It started while checking in and the front staff was rude. I should have left but wanted to give them a chance. Then the furniture in the room was broken and stained. The housekeeper was shocked that we complained. There was a small group of kids that were running all day and night. I know others are there but they were at the hotel all the time like they lived there and nobody really made them mind. When we checked out early the front lady didn’t even ask what was wrong or if she could help with anything which just added to the bad time. Would not stay there again!

It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Clean towels and sheets. Glass walk in shower, bathroom wasn't nasty. What more could you ask for. Muffins and granola bars for breakfast, not much but a good snack breakfast. I think they had waffles, I seen a waffle iron at least. Me and the guy I was with both enjoyed it and the king sized bed. Home away from home

The pictures speak for themselves. When you walk in, the lobby is dusty and smells of smoke. When we got to the room I knew immediately we wouldn’t be staying there. They say they don’t offer refunds but capital one travel was at least able to get 2 of the 3 days refunded. I WOULD NOT recommend this place. You couldn’t pay me to stay here.

Price was average. Rooms were dirty. (Carpet's not vacuumed, mold in the showers, missing shower curtain, and dirty sheets). Looked at multiple rooms before we asked for a refund. Hallways and elevator were dirty. Front desk person was very nice and gave us a refund right away.

The check in experience went very smoothly, the agent was very pleasant. The walk to the room was not far, hallways were well lit. Entering the room, it was clean. No odd odor. Linens seemed clean, bathroom clean. I brought disinfectant spray for the toilet, remote and anything else I'd be touching a lot. I do this always, not just here. The furniture does need an update. The little couch was very worn, stained and hard. There was a microwave and a fridge but we didn't use those. The bed....100% needs replaced. It was extremely uncomfortable. Hard, noisy and it was way too high. The best feature in the room, in my opinion, was the sliding mirror closet doors! So very nice. We would stay here again.

Bed Bugs. Cleanliness and maintenance of the hallways made it look haunted. Room had a lumpy shifting carpet. Smoke detector removed. Melted hair dryer. Mold in the bathroom. Cockroaches. And BED BUGS which we didn't know about till I broke out on the way home. Save yourself and go somewhere else. ANYWHERE.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is the quality of the pillows, and the fact that the mini fridge and microwave were clean. The check in process took forever. There was one lady by herself (she was very pleasant) and it seems the systems may be in need of updating because even when it was our turn it still took forever. Our room was non-smoking but you could tell it had at one time been smoking. They'd tried to get the smell out and did a fairly good job, but if you're sensitive to smoke you can tell. The hallways are not well lit and the walls are thin. As a rule we sleep with the tv on and on a low volume in hotels to drown out morning racket. I could STILL hear our neighbors alarm going off for a solid half hour. It wasn't a loud alarm either. The carpet inside of our room was lumpy in several spots and not tacked down. It also was frayed and not secured at a lot of edges. The plug ins were sketchy and nothing would stay plugged in. The hotels hair dryer had to be held into the outlet with one hand to be usable, as did he coffee pot. And the "closet" only had one door. The couch our room came with was stained in several spots. The bathroom was just gross. The wallpaper was peeling at the seams, and the grout is filthy and needs re-done. The bottom of the tub had zero finish left on it, making it look disgustingly dirty, despite it being clean. And the worst part was that there was absolutely no hot water. It remained tepid, not even lukewarm, for about 5-10 mins. They need a serious overhaul before I'd ever consider staying at any Days Inn locations again.

First problem with this hotel was that the first room I was given hadn't been cleaned. The bed was unmade and the room felt like someone had just left 5 minutes before I arrived. The next issue was that hotel says that it is a smoke free building, but I can't see how that is possible since there is a strong smell of smoke in the whole building. The smell permeated the sofa so bad that my clothes smelled of smoke after I left. And the smoke alarm in my room was gone so I think people have been smoking there rather recently or they dont care about guest safety at all. Finally, the "breakfast" consisted of waffles that you make yourself from overly thinned out batter to muffins or donuts. No bread for toast, no cereal, no milk, no protein. I find better breakfast options at gas stations than they had. If it weren't for the fact that I didn't want to find a new hotel for the night I would have not stayed and demanded a refund for the night as it was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had.

This hotel needs a really good and thorough deep cleaning. Luckily the bedding and linens were fairly clean. The location was fine. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

I would give this location 0 stars if I could. I stayed there often as I travel for work. I knew to expect that the rooms were run down and not clean, but I was only there to sleep. I knew to bring my own blankets and sheets. The second to last time I stayed there there were cockroaches in my room, I was told by the front desk they would move me in the morning. The room I was moved to was worse off there were cigarette burns in the blankets and carpet and the tub was disgusting. The last time I stayed there, there was bed bugs in my room, so I was moved to another room where there was black mold growing in the tub. I checked out and was offered a refund, but I have not received the refund yet AND I was charged again at midnight for the for the room because the employee didn't take me out of the system. I have reached out to the hotel and the corporate office and still do not have a resolution to this. It's been about 3 weeks now.

Dirtiest, scariest room I've ever entered. We could not stay here. Poor, sweet woman at the front desk was quick to apologize & issue refund. That poor thing was dealing with a few high-stress situations & stayed calm & professional.

  • 2/5 Austin B. 8 months ago on Google
The room wasn’t awful at first glance till I looked closer. Everything hung out of the sockets by the sink and the hairdryer was broken. One of the bed lamp’s switches was hanging out. The tub was gross and there was crusty old carpet hidden behind the couch. The breakfast was sub par. All the staff were pretty nice so I guess that counts for something. Wouldn’t recommend but it could have been worse.

It's very rare to find a smoking room so this was a plus for me. I was disappointed to see that there was no full breakfast as advertised. The bed was super comfy. This hotel is very dated but the price was very fair for the location and a great find with it being spring break.

Hotel is very nasty. Carpet is dirty. Some windows are busted. Smells smokey and like mildew. Walls need cleaned. Our Night stand had mold in the drawers.

Loved how they have family time for the kids in the pool and then times for only adults!!! The staff was super nice and the location and the rooms are both amazing most will be back... I stayed two nights there

This place was dark as you walked through the halls , the carpets were grimy and the toilet seat kept breaking off. The parking lot was dirty and the dumpster was very full( next to the side entrance) The sheets were clean but not fitted to the bed. Fixtures were dated and a lampshade was cracked. We left in the middle of the night because the room was so bad. Will not go back .

Extremely Rude clerk. Disrespectful to patrons in front of me who were experiencing dirty rooms with mold and dust. Other patrons needed extra towels because they weren’t provided any. The front doors were smudged with fingerprints as well. Not worth it.

As soon as you walk in there is a distinct accent to the hotel that gets even worse as you walk into the depths of the facility. The issues here are vast: Carpet in desperate need of replacing- our shoes stuck to it The elevator does not stop on the first level The dresser drawer in our room broken and just left next to the dresser There was a thick layer of dust on the baseboards, alarm clock, and other surfaces The night stand hid trash and dirt The walls were filthy with liquids splattered on them The box spring was stained and smelly and in need of replacement We were in the room for less than 10 minutes before deciding to ask for a refund. To their credit, they refunded us immediately. I lowered their customer service score because the deal attendant knew about the elevator and still directed us there anyway and when we stayed why we wanted a reason he asked for notes that he could pass on to the house cleaning crew when it is obvious that the issues can not be remedied by them.

  • 1/5 Adrian J. 1 year ago on Google
Room smelled like smoke. In a nonsmoking motel, The elevator is way in the back walls and nasty. I didn't touch the buttons Hell No. This MF is dated. Got to the room. There is old butter in it. Look at the photo's. The only reason I stayed overnight was, that we arrived super late. Not trying to be a hater. Just want others to beware of where they stay. Don't stay here people.

Sorry place, needs remodeling badly. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. They don’t seem to care to make it reasonable comfortable and clean. Carpet stains, bathroom tub needs to be replaced, headboard of bed is falling and tilted. Old furniture, dirty n out dated. Only thing good is the TV is somewhat in good condition, the microwave and fridge. At least the fridge is clean. Also killed a baby roach and sure there is more else where. Skip this place for uncleanliness and terrible conditions.

  • 1/5 Tami M. 10 months ago on Google
This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen. The carpet in the hallway gave us the first clue as it was stained and dirty. The carpet in the room, the bathroom, and chair were filthy. If I could give it 0 stars I would have. The clerk refunded my money that night, but it was added back the next day as a "phone" transaction. I have disputed it on my CC since I have the receipt for the refund.

  • 1/5 Tj C. 10 months ago on Google
Carpets in room look like they’ve seen their share of wear and need to be replaced. Showers were rusty and need updating. Corners of the bathroom looked as if it had flooded at one point. Ac barely cooled the room. Hall ways reaked of weed smoke. Will definitely never be staying here again, 111 bucks for a “suite” with a balcony that was 2ft of concrete with the balcony door blocked by the well used couch

  • 1/5 Bethany G. 1 year ago on Google
Requested a handicap accessible room with a roll-in/walk-in shower during reservation, lady happily replied "Yes we have that available". During check in I asked Desk Clerk to make sure the room had a roll-in shower, he shook his head and said yes. But the room only had a standard shower/tub combination with grab bars. Otherwise the only accessible aspect was the wide doors for a wheel chair, sink outside the bathroom that a wheelchair could roll up to, and a small stool that I guess was for the tub (not stable and couldn't adjust legs). When I reported the shower issue to the Desk Clerk about the room, he looked confused saying "That's the only accessible room we have". Room was also very musty/mildew smelling that left mildew and odors inside my mothers Bi-Pap breathing machine. Lots of gnats flying around too. Left after first night. The next day talked with the Hotel Manager the next day, got the a complete refund, and checked out immediately. I tried to show the Manager the issue, but he wouldn't leave his office, just issued the refund and was done with me.
