Gym Fitness center Personal trainer

🫤 2 stars instead of 1 star because it is great they give a 7 day free pass and the one trainer I spoke to was really nice. The gym itself though, ZERO stars! I used it once. That was when I discovered the bench set up really sucks. It has only 2 settings. One is too high, one is too short. So ok, I... People often mention cancel, Edge, membership, staff, equipment, great, work, money, months, fitness,

First with the positive: Great equipment and it’s kept very clean inside. The sauna is nice and the lady’s at the shake bar are awesome! Pablo at the front desk is super good and very helpful! Negatives: Be careful signing up with them though, I cancelled my account august 11th and kept getting charged up until December. They have proof I cancelled, but they “can’t do anything” because their affiliate ABC financial keeps taking it out, yet it’s impossible to get in contact with them. When I originally cancelled the manager said I wouldn’t be charged anymore, which is frustrating.

Need information on how to cancel due to coronavirus. This should be on the website and should not come with hidden additional fees.

The Edge's billing is atrocious, bordering on theft. Watch your credit card statement EVERY MONTH for errors (always in their favor) and charges for services not provided, sometimes adding up to hundreds of dollars! Getting these errors corrected is not easy. Crowded during popular peak times. The equipment is often in need of repair. It is infested with grunting, posing lunks who seem to delight in dropping weights on the floor to attract attention to themselves. Toxic masculinity. Stay away from this gym, there are much better ones available.

Nice equipment's and everything, but there opening hours are limited being a fulltime student and per time worker it feel like the gym is always closed. I wanted to cancel my membership but they said to cancel my membership I have to pay 200 something $. plus the manager is not even available every time I try to reach him he's not there. honestly speaking its just a waste of money.

Warning—-Don’t trust Edge! Be sure to read the small print regarding contracts — I’m currently paying $24 per month. I called to negotiate a lower payment for new $10 offer. The Edge flat out REFUSED & said I was locked in at higher rate. Also, they charged me late fees of $59 when they failed to complete the monthly payment. Edge claimed that they would follow up & return your money, but after a month of talking to customer service reps—my problem was only resolved when I went directly through Chase for my refund of $59. Do not trust the St Anne location!!!

don't waste your money! as cheap as it is, it is not worth it. The equipment is always broken. You have to search to find a treadmill where the TV works; it is either the picture, the sound or both that are not working. The other day I got on a treadmill and the track was unhinged from the base and it was bouncing. when you tell the staff, it is like the first time they are hearing about the issue, although some of the treadmills could be broken for days. It is incredible to me that each morning, a staff person doesn't go around and test every piece of equipment; it wouldn't take more than a half hour. then, at least, if they put a sign on the equipment saying there is a problem, customers would not have to hunt for a machine that works. but, honestly, they just don't care. all they want to do is sell training hours.

2 stars instead of 1 star because it is great they give a 7 day free pass and the one trainer I spoke to was really nice. The gym itself though, ZERO stars! I used it once. That was when I discovered the bench set up really sucks. It has only 2 settings. One is too high, one is too short. So ok, I will move a free bench to a squat rack and make do. But...the benches are BOLTED to try floor!!! Doesn't matter though because i then realized the squat racks clealry say no benches allowed there. All but one rack. So you have to wait for that one specific rack just to bench!! IF you can find a bench that isn't bolted down that is. So ok, guess I will deadlift. Except I lift sumo. The deadlift platform was clearly designed solely for conventional deads as my feet ended up on the cushion for the plates. At 5'1" I by no means have an extreme sumo stance!! So yeah, I did finally do squats. But to train all main lifts, this gym just won't work for me. To top off the workout, I realize they have posted a sign saying "not grunting"! Who lifts heavy without grunting? That is just crazy!! Almost forgot, training of clients is done in a gated area rather centrally located. So clients are put on display. When I was new to training, that would have been a MAJOR deterrent!!

First of all, this location is terrible. The staff is rude and very very unhelpful! They don't like to listen to their customers and ignored my requests. Second, cooperate is also of no help. They keep stealing money and wont let me cancel my membership. They have been stealing from me for over 6 months. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience, DO NOT RECOMMENED THIS PLACE AT ALL.

My son enjoys the kid care here. I enjoy the large assortment of Cardio equipment. The kid staff is awesome. They have on several occasions showed a different movie than advertised. When prompted to update to correct movie I was given the excuse "Our Gyn didn't buy the movie that we advertised for viewing today. And because I don't have a company card I can't buy the movie. He offered to play something else that I might like, but this is a big disappointment as this has occurred multiple times.

I like my gym. I like the people there (staff and members, everyone's very polite). I like the machines which are well maintained. The wipes canisters run out sometimes, but outside of that, I can't think of any negatives to speak of... I don't like the scale atm, but we're working on our relationship.

I have a membership here (that I pay for) and a free gym membership to Club Fitness. I definitely prefer to pay for my Edge membership than utilize my free one. I will only go to Club Fitness if I didn’t make it to Edge during the operating hours because I work 12hr shifts. Clean gym, light atmosphere (both physically & mentally OPEN WINDOWS AND SO MUCH NATURAL LIGHTING). Very clean. I see their staff going every hour around the floor to make sure things are kept up. I hardly see this at club fitness and Club fitness is almost always down to one area that has wipes. I was skeptical about going back to the gym after COVID, especially knowing it’s still around and that I work in healthcare; but Edge definitely makes me feel secure when I’m there. I’ll still wear my mask to and from my areas, and the other members respect your space enough to distance when needed.

UPDATE: I emailed them (as I was asked on this review) and got ZERO response. I emailed on August 19 and I am updating this review October 15. Original review: There is no way to cancel their contract during this pandemic. I am still getting charged the full cost of a monthly membership despite not getting everything I agreed to pay for. It’s unfortunate because I really liked the gym and would have most likely eventually signed up again when the pandemic is over.

The gym offers number of classes and training. I personal trained with Sarah and she was an amazing trainer. I am basically a gym rat so I know what I'm doing with that being said I knew what to expect from a personal trainer and she was great! The gym is clean and they have quite a bit of free weights and assisted weights. You never have to wait in line to use equipment. I wish they'd stayed open later than 11 p.m.

There is a scam vibe to this gym who will do everything not to let you go even if your contract is up. They put you on a Auto Renewal even if you dont ask they dont mention it to you and wont even allow you to call in after a year contract is over to say stop charging me I want to go else where they will stall it out just to keep getting money off you. They will not work with you even if they make a mistake and tell you false information. They even say after you cancel we can still charge you 1 more time. This is a Buyer Beware Review there is soo much small print and twists and turns to them taking your money Do not sign the 2 year Contract they will have your soul

I have reached out to this club for months now attempting to solve a billing issue. I have been ignored at best when reaching out to the General Manager, Mariah. I will assume that she is salary because she is never there a full 8 hours or during the time her assistant GM and other staff have told me. Their lack of communication to the billing company has not only prevented me access to the club, but excessive overdraft fees on money that was not to be collected. I am still waiting for her to call me as she is the only one that can "make changes". Needless to say I have to call corporate.

Don’t do the free trials it turns into them forcing you to sign up for a year then forces you to pay them monthly. They will not let you cancel unless you move or have a medical condition. You have to take them to court it’s ridiculous it’s a gym membership let people cancel ! Contacted the customer service through email and called St Ann directly spoke with a rep who stated she couldn’t pull anything up because the internet was down. They will not let you cancel your membership

Equipment repairs regularly neglected, inescapable "entertainment" audio might crack my teeth and "management" double billed me for fees and is either incapable or unwilling to reimburse me for those errors despite being presented with double payment evidence from my credit cards many weeks ago.

It’s a good gym but you can’t be closing at 9 on a Friday and then 6 on a Saturday. People have jobs that run late and closing that early is just ridiculous. One reason ima prob be changing gyms

Love the St Ann gym. Clean, huge, lots of state-of-the-art equipment. Staff is friendly. I was especially impressed when Carin (sp?) called me back 3 minutes after I applied for the guest pass. My concern is safety. I received only a brief walk-through. Machines are hard to figure out on my own, even with the instructions. I'm used to older, simpler equipment and was not prepared for how The Edge's equipment twists and turns. I'm 5'10" and sometimes can't fit my legs into the quad machines. On my first day there I stepped off a treadmill and reached for a wipe, not realizing I was on a 6" ledge. I fell on my left side, especially my knee. A staff member helped me up, making sure I was okay. I simply went straight home and iced it down. It is still bruised and swollen. On the second day there I reracked a 10# kettle ball, but it somehow fell off the rack, nearly landing on my foot. I'm not exactly new at working out, so I know I reracked it properly. I do truly want to join The Edge. Pricing is reasonable, but now I'm afraid to touch anything. Is there someone who can take me through a more detailed guided tour? I would really appreciate it.

I just wanna warn people to stay away from this club, because it is very very easy to join them, but very hard to cancel, they keep charging your credit card. J order cancel 3 months before, but they keep charging you until finish year period take annual fee. Then i thought that is it, i surprised with new charges for this month too, when asked , they said need 1 month notice of cancelation, i asked him check my email from 3 months ago, and he just ignore with no answer at all. I will not surprise if they keep charging me for next few months too. Feel like they robbing me.

I’m currently on a 7-day pass and absolutely love this gym. They have everything you can think of, even a movie theatre to watch movies as you workout. The ladies only gym allows me to really focus in on my workouts. And the smoothie bar is a great addition. I have canceled Planet Fitness to join Edge.

When asked to freeze my account during the coronavirus this is the response I get “ Cancellation is allowed for a permanent disability OR if member cannot work-out for 6 months or longer. * Provide a letter from your physician stating you have a permanent disability, or you are unable to return to the gym/workout for 6 months or longer. * Must be on letterhead and signed by the physician with a phone number to call and verify information if needed. * 30-day notice is NOT required for cancellation; however, payments will continue until the proper document from your physician is received.”

BEWARE of their latest money grab scheme. My wife tried to cancel our memberships. They told her our son and I had to request cancellation individually, so we did via the same email. I just found out that my son's account was never cancelled and mine is in collections. Why? Because according to the collection agency, "Our account was not cancelled properly. According to the contract, you must either cancel in person or send a certified letter to corporate requesting cancellation". Looks like I'll need to graduate this clearly fraudulent practice to a higher legal power.

Dan is my personal trainer and he is the BEST trainer that I EVER had!! These past almost 4 months have been one heck of a journey and I still have a long way to go! He makes my workouts so much fun and his sense of humor is amazing! I believe I’m his favorite client lol, but on a serious note, he really pushes me to be the best version of myself and feel good inside and out. I’m a former tennis athlete and I can start to feel that I’m getting stronger and stronger every single week. If you want a fun and entertaining trainer, Dan is your guy!!! He will forever be my trainer FOR LIFE!!! He deserves nothing but blessings! Thank you Dan for being such a great trainer!💪🏽😇

The gym is...ok. Keep in mind they are not very transparent regarding cancellations. As a consumer it's my personal belief that one should be able to easily cancel a gym membership. If you sign up, they will make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. They require tons of documentation to cancel if you move. I was not told this when signing up. To make matters worse, this gym isn't 24hours as promised. I would save your money and join the JCC.

I loved the gym and staff. The sauna is great and always working. Same with the massage chair. Equipment is kept up and it's very clean. Staff is great. If you have issues with their third party bill servicer - ABC fitness services... go to your gym and talk to them.

Great gym with plenty of space between machines and their turf for all kinds of activity is huge. Shake bar is also good with great options on high and low protein shakes along with preworkouts in their coolers ready for purchase. My favorite gym

This gym is highly unprofessional and rude. I felt forced to sign up in the first place, which that should've been first red flag, but I didn't know any better at the time. Trying to cancel was like pulling teeth. Finally got it canceled and then I saw that they were trying to charge me again, I called up there and spoke to a man that said I had one more payment with them and they wouldn't charge me again. I said whatever, and they charged me $55.86 instead of $39.10. Then I get another notification that they were trying to charge me again, so I call up there and they said that it was the annual fee that came out and that since I didn't cancel 30 days before the annual fee was due, we owed that as well. Even though there is nothing in the contract stating that. I was told the GM was going to reach out to me in a few minutes after the phone call with the front desk, because she was finishing up a meeting and I said okay. That was at 1:14pm and it is now 3:49pm as I write this. So what happened to the GM, Mariah Russell, calling me? On top of that, I read other reviews of people having the same issues as myself which means that they continue to scam people out of their money.

Been working out here for awhile now. Never taken my daughter for the daycare part until today. Have to say....super disappointed in their childcare section. My daughter was super unhappy and didn't hesitate to tell me ....daddy that place was so boring....wouldn't even let me do alot of the stuff. She is 5 and super athletic, does gymnastics, super flexible ...can even do a pull up...she should be able to play on a da$% basketball court Now I see why I never used this service before....and definitely won't ever again I should be able to workout in peace and now my child isn't unhappy

Be careful. I paid my dues for the year and they had 0 leniency with the pandemic. Sent me a bill for $770.00 in NOVEMBER through collections without even contacting me. The nationwide lockdown started in March. I would recommend any other gym short of Planet Fitness in the area. Horrible customer service.

Equipment alone would get a 3 or 4 star rating. It can get busy at times but overall has quite a bit of modern machines and free weights. The problem is the staff and their level of customer service. Incorrect information has been given several times on contract details and options moving forward. Whenever incorrect information is given, told to contact corporate. There is lack of proper follow up to customer issues.

So you upgrade and they FAIL to say when the kids area is open and closed! I am a parent who wants to workout for maybe 1 hr and I don't have all day! So noon-4pm, CLOSED!! Golds Gym was WAAAAY better they were only closed 11-noon!! Not any other gym is closed other than lunch or 2 hrs max...wow!! Not parent friendly. Was like pulling teeth to get a print out of thehours!! Took 4 people to ask the same question. "Can I have a print out of kids area hours?" Such lazy people, it's definitely the area! Saint charles is waaay better polite, hospitable!

Big, clean, and choices. Three words to describe this place. Everything seems kept up with and running smooth, plenty of benches and racks. A ton of treadmills. The problem I had, was staying in STL for only a few weeks, they had absolutely ZERO choices to let me in and out with a simple transaction. Fees, waivers yadda yadda. Instead of a manager saying let's work something out so you don't pay out of the nose, I had to walk and give someplace else, very close, my money. Seems like a place with a lot of travelers would have some sort of side plan.

I was sceptical about joining the Edge Fitness gym. Frankly, because it was too cheap. I was used to gym prices in New York City, so I assumed that the Edge would be a dump. But, when I finally arrived at the gym and toured the facility, I realized how wrong I was. The Edge is a fantastic gym. It has everything you want and need for a top-notch gym experience. The people who work there are fantastic. The vibe is friendly. There's lots of equipment, classes, and personal training options. The only thing the Edge doesn't have . . . is a high price tag. For me, that puts it over the edge. THE BEST GYM EVER.

  • 5/5 Carla M. 11 months ago on Google
I have been at Edge since February. I started with a week long pass (and a broken foot) to try the gym out and met with Allison for my initial assessment and to show me around the gym. I was excited about finding a new gym that was conveniently located and immediately started trying the classes. The body pump classes are fun and challenging and can be modified to any fitness level. Love them! I also tried the Edge Strong & Forge classes and from there I was hooked! I have taken Allison and Becky's classes so far. Both trainers are not only knowledgeable and professional, but also take extra steps to make sure I am getting the most I can out of my workouts. Both Allison and Becky have genuinely made me feel not only welcome, but encourage me in so many ways. With each workout I leave feeling stronger and a better version of myself. I love being part of the Edge community, the gym set up, and the variety of classes there are to choose from. Beyond grateful to once again have a "gym home".

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional level of assistance and friendliness we have consistently experienced at your gym. It's truly refreshing to encounter such a helpful and welcoming team. Whenever my husband and I have needed assistance, we have always received prompt and pleasant responses, along with effective solutions. Your dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction is truly commendable. While I am here, I would like to make a small suggestion. It would be wonderful if the women's gym door could be fixed, as well as if coat hangers could be provided in the restroom stalls for convenience. These small improvements would greatly enhance the overall experience. Once again, thank you for going above and beyond in providing outstanding service.

I’ve been coming here a while and it seems the cleaning crew isn’t doing their job anymore… Sauna and showers are dirty… i can only imagine what it looks like if you turn on the lights in the tv room. I’ve traveled to other edge fitness and can’t say the same about the other locations. I also don’t like the fact that i pay for child care but i am refused when i travel and show up with my child with no way to know that my child wouldn’t be able to attend which leaves me to have to leave the facility when i should have been notified that child care was either closed or at capacity. There’s a lot of work to do here.

I originally joined The Edge to work with a trainer. Bekkie Roman was recommended to me and I've been working with her for about three months now. She is amazing! I'm 50 and new to strength training, and she has been so good at helping me with my form and explaining the science behind what I'm doing. She always varies my workouts so I'm never bored, and I definitely feel like I'm making progress. Her depth of knowledge is incredible, and she is fantastic at working around my recovering shoulder. The women's workout space and the cinema are my two favorite amenities of the gym itself and I use those two areas the most when I'm not working with Bekkie.

I’ve been a member since October 2022. It’s been a really great. One of the biggest factors has been my personal trainer, Rebecca. Unlike some female trainers, I’ve worked with at other gyms, she is about strength and not about being sexy or just thin. Sure that’s what we all want! But I want to do it in a healthy way and be stronger for it. All the other staff seem to be on the same page too which is awesome! Health 1st, strength 2nd and everything else comes along with it.

To sum up my review. This gym gets a one star for having ppl pay almost $42 for a gym that’s not open 24 hours and only 12 hours on the weekends. Going to another location is a stretch for convenience. The flexibility is weak, the staff has bland attitudes on swing shift so I only go really early in the AM. The girls over exceed sauna minutes which is okay but the sauna is too small for that. They wear tennis shoes inside the sauna and groups of girls get REALLY loud inside that small sauna room. Needless to say I am happy that my membership is up in May. I am not renewing my membership to this gym.

Absolutely love the gym, the morning girls/guys are great at saying hello and going the extra way in the morning to say hi to the kiddos. That means a lot to a parent. Pm shift is great except one girl who’s always in her phone and pretty rude…there’s always one of them. I was skeptical about joining bc I’d herd about extra fees. No worries, they don’t! I have been going to Edge for a year and a half now. There are so many different and amazing classes in the AM & PM(really really wish there were mid day classes and others do too!!😭)There have been trainers come and go but I take Sarah Jerden class 3 days a week and at one point 5 days bc they were short staffed. She makes sure our form is correct and has no problem modifying for a client! Also the gym is super clean! Oh and Zumba Danielle Steinberg and Tracey Magee is the best!!!! You couldn’t pay me to miss it, Kelly with body combat Elana with core, Tiffany with body pump and the new trainers D and CJ!!!! If I’m not taking Sarah’s class I’ll be in theirs. Needless to say I’m a happy customer! I highly recommend Edge! There are a lot of good trainers besides the ones mentioned of course!

Have been going to this gym for 2 yrs now. I love the edge strong classes. Sarah J is my favorite trainer! Her and Allison. Always trying new workouts and never turns down a challenge, which keeps it fun and us engaged.

This is honest review, so I went to this place a very first time and I found it such a great place. Staff were very friendly and welcoming , I got a tour to the entire space , also a free group work out , free smoothie. Every one had a happy face , I feel positive energy already I think I will sign up and try the first month. So I will be back with another review !

We have been members of this location for years and they have always been helpful and friendly. Especially in the last year that we have lived in. Our sons visited from Las Vegas and they were impressed with the cleanliness and treatment they were given. This meant much especially in the situations that we have lived in, knowing they felt safe and were excited to be able to work out with that confidence means more to us as clients and parents than you can imagine. We thank Christine Charpentier, and the staff at the front desk (Justyn, Zach and Devante) for being gracious and helpful always.

So I've updated my review because not only have they entirely renovated the place, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I feel like they have a lot to offer. The things that bother me are things that would only be solved by moving to a bigger space. The stretching area can be really small when it's crowded. I think this gym is a good middle ground for the crossroads of affordability and quality. Minor things I think the gym could improve on would be something like getting almond milk for smoothie options, it kinda blows my mind they don't have dairy free milk options in today's fitness and health crazed world. One thing I would also like to see would be more of a presence of employees available for help around the gym. I think someone should be monitoring so they can be of assistance if someone is struggling or has a question. All in all, I really like this gym and will continue to use it as long as I'm living in Norwalk.

If I could give them -5 stars I would. This is such a sketchy gym. They won't let you cancel the membership after sending them one million proof and they'll keep billing you no matter what, and you can only do it through email which makes it even harder and longer because they take days to write back. Their costumer service is the worst, they won't offer any kind of support or help. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACTS

The gym feels almost as bad as planet fitness and feels so claustrophobic. It's basically like a big basement gym that's almost constantly packed. The sauna is tiny and fits about 4 people, with the heat usually being turned down and no way to turn it back up. Wouldn't necessarily recommend.

I am trying to cancel my membership, but all the time they change the information of how to proceed for that!! I did send the proof of it but they still asking for more! in the beginner before I start there they said that was easy to cancel, Just let them know with a month before and send the proof of it. but they are not allowing That! I am very disappointed with that.

Hello, I’ll start by saying I would have given this gym a 5 star rating prior to the pandemic, for the simple fact that EDGE Kids is amazing!! Add to it the low cost and it is a home run. We searched high and low for a gym that provided quality time for our 3 year old while my wife and I workout. EDGE Kids was it! We signed up because of the kids program, and due to the pandemic the kids club is closed. Therefore, there is no one to watch/teach our daughter when we are working out. We froze our membership for the first few months that we were allowed to, hoping things would open up. I completely understand why EDGE kids is currently closed, and I am not arguing that. However, by closing EDGE Kids, EDGE Club is removing the exact reason we signed up for the club. If there was no kids option, we would have never signed up. EDGE changed the deal, but they are still requiring payment. I receive numbers to call, and email addresses to send my story to, but nothing has been done. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I do not need a generic sympathy response with an email to send this to. I need action. Either freeze my membership until the kids club opens, or allow me to cancel because YOU changed the deal that got me to join.

I enjoy the gym here and the lay out. I wish they would fix the fan in the cinema room. Myself and others have brought it up many times to the front desk and it has yet to be fixed. We spend enough in membership and annual fees.

Love this place! They are constantly cleaning and disinfecting equipment and the locker rooms. The staff and trainers are friendly and shakes are so good!

Relatively new company and Missouri so there's a lot of hitting things always behind what the representatives are saying to you when they get you or trying to get you to join. But I can say that at the end of the deal you can't go wrong the prices are very fair the annual fee is included yearly. But what they have to offer is worth the price

Great gym in every way. I do wish they would pay more attention to details. The third bathroom stall hasnt locked since I’ve been a member . I’ve been a member for 4 months lol. I’ve made the mistake of using that stall only when other were full only to be walked in on each time by someone not knowing it doesn’t lock. For a new building I would think someone would fix by now. The movie theatre is nice , yet the majority of time it’s so loud i have to leave, movies are ended a d paused with no new one starting, movie isn’t even turned on, or lights to theatre are so bright because they forgot to turn off.

Clean facility. Kids area is actually designed with kids in mind, including staffing child-centered employees. Love the women's only section.

If only could give them 0 stars I would . Terrible custumer service. When you join them so easy to do that , all in person and good. As soon as you want to cancel membership here starting a nightmare. Hard to contact them, because only by phone. And staff are not helpfull at all, explaining all in a very bad way, like special, for get after extra fee money. When u send them email for cancelation no even email back that we are accept ur request or cancelation. My husband and I canceled 3 months before finish year, but was surprised to see that they keep taking money in a new year too. When we canceled payment they keep charging even more. Strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place, hard to get out of there and they are keep taking ur money!

I enjoy the mix of types of people that go to the Norwalk Edge Fitness. I am recently back on my health journey. I have much weight to loose. In Norwalk the members are a mix of all ages, shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. I feel comfortable there. Everyone is on their own journey at different stages of strength and fitness. The gym has made many improvements and has many new machines. I recently noticed that each shower in the ladies locker room has a private changing area. Once I get a bit more in shape I will take the foundations Edge strong class. I love my trainer Pete who also is a massage therapist.

The gym itself deserves 5 stars. Very clean, well lit, great equipment, great sauna and massage chair (my favorite). Great staff. If you have issues with the third party biller make sure and bring it to the attention of the local gym staff. Don't engage ABC Fitness Solutions. (3rd party biller).

So, This rating is for the poor customer service I’ve experienced with the Edge fitness in Saint Ann. I signed up for the membership back in 2020 but due to COVID there was a delay in the opening of the gym. When they did decide to open in my opinion COVID cases was still a lot out here in the county so ultimately I decided not to go. I did ask if I can cancel my membership or freeze it at the time the manager told me NO and I would have to cancel closer to the date that my policy would be up and that would be on 2/27/22. So I called on 1/10/22 and cancelled and also received an email confirmation to verify that I did speak to someone and the last payment would be taken out on 2/27/22. So March is here and now they’re charging me like $36.53. I’ve called the local gym in Saint Ann numerous times requesting to speak to a manager they’re never available and front desk asks to take down my number so the manager can call back. The first couple times I did give my number and one of the employees who works at the front desk told me to contact ABC fitness I called them they’re on some mess. The last employee I spoke to at the front desk was over talking me and was being real rude. At this point I’ve called my bank and setup a dispute because based off the email and conversation that I had with Edge fitness in Saint Ann there’s no way I should still be getting charged! And mind you I haven’t stepped foot in the gym and didn’t trip over the recurring charges from the previous months because of the contract but I need them to do the right thing and refund my $36.53.

This gym is very clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. More equipment and space than it looks like from the outside. Would recommend!
