We had a really fun time on the brew to brew excursion. A welcome addition to the area. The staff were friendly and informative. We'll definitely be back and look forward to all the exciting updates to your line.

Great experience! Rode in the caboose, and the historian on board was fantastic. Took the Mannington line. Will definitely go again and try a different train car. 1930s train refurbished with more to come next year. Highly recommend!

Over the weekend we had a glorious adventure riding the rails with the Woodstown Central Railroad! Do you love trains? Do you love beer? You should try their Brew to Brew excursion, it was amazing! We started off at Farmers and Bankers Brewing where we got our train tickets and tried some beer. When the whistle blew we grabbed some cans to go and took a short walk to the boarding area. We were all impressed when we boarded the beautifully restored 1937 Reading Railroad caboose. We rode about 5 miles through some picturesque woods and farmland. The train stopped right behind Swedesboro Brewing Co and we ventured over for more beer along with some food from Yo No Se Tacos. About an hour later we got back on the train and rode the rails back to Woodstown. The highlight of our adventure was the magical experience of riding the train! Everyone on board, including the staff, had this collective feeling that we were all just kids sharing a giant toy. The incredible staff was entertaining, accommodating, and kept us safe throughout the trip. I can’t wait to go back and take my dad on the scenic excursion. If you know anyone who loves trains, it’s all aboard the Woodstown Central Railroad! 🚂🛤️🎟️🍺 #adventuresinsouthjersey #choochoo #woodstowncentralrailroad #allaboard

What a wonderful ride on the train today. With a1930's Coach that looked like it had just rolled off the Assembly line, trainmen dressed very similar to the days of old and flagstops at some crossings it was truly like stepping back in time. Chase the trainman was very friendly, informative and knew lots about the area as he spoke about upcoming plans. It's so good to see a company have long term plans for this area. The one thing I would add is Pocket watches for the Trainman just to add to the stepping back in time atmosphere lol. Regardless it was great! They said to tell all your friends and family which is what I will be doing. Very excited to see what they have in store next. Book this excursion you won't regret it. Train fans of young and old will love it! Book a trip today! EDIT: Did this train ride again on 9/24 in their caboose on their new mannington limited trip and even better than before. Caboose is just as it was when new. And while waiting for the train we ran into old friend as well as once boarding the caboose just as you may have back in the 1930’s. I can not recommend this place enough. Excited to check out their new table car that debuts this weekend on 10/14 If you want to step back in time for an hour or so and fun for the whole family this is something you need to do. The crew is also great as they seem to be enjoying the train just as much as the customers if not more. You will love this!

Such a simple & fun thing to do! The ticketing process was made very easy by the friendly staff. There are fire pits & tents to sit by while you're waiting for or after you get off the train. The snacks on board are simple but you can also bring food with. Every employee was sincere and friendly. Santa was so sweet and I look forward to attending more events that the WCR has.

What a great day for a train ride! My grandfather worked on Pennsylvania RR, so that’s where I get my love for trains. He always set-up a platform at Christmas !

We got tickets in advance for the Santa train. My son had so much fun! The train cars were beautiful, and I was surprised they had drinks and snacks on board. We will be back for more fun train rides in 2024.

Very chilly day for our train ride, but the authentic Caboose was toasty warm. The old pot belly stove was on and kept us all warm. The caboose was beautifully restored. Our train master was very knowledgeable and friendly. Answered everyone's questions. Highly recommend the Woodstown RR. Definitely coming back for another excursion.

What a fabulous time our family had on the Woodstown Central RR! We rented the caboose to celebrate our parents 80th bdays and 60th wedding anniversary. The employees of the RR were awesome! I highly recommend this very unique South Jersey event!

Great time on the Brew-to-Brew tour. Friendly people, beautiful views from wonderfully restored caboose, and terrific beer from both breweries. Can’t wait to go again!

Scenic excursion was great. Beautifully restored, friendly staff, and memorable experience. With less than 20 passengers, this is currently an intimate, laid back experience that you can’t get at other railroads in the area. Look forward to watching them grow!

The autumn, pumpkin, patch train ride was wonderful! The staff were kind and courteous. Everything was clean. Pumpkins were giant, they had such cute activities for the kids. They had apple cider, donuts and candy for everyone at the pumpkin patch. It was just a wonderful day, and I can’t recommend this enough! I am looking forward to the next holiday trip!

We did the Fall Pumpkin excursion. This was by far the best pumpkin picking excursion I have been on. The train was beautiful and everything was set up for a smooth ride. The stop for pumpkins was amazing. They gave you the biggest, most beautiful pumpkins, cider, and a donut. The set up at the stop was so cute. Games and benches by fires. Hard to believe this is a newer thing for them because everything was so perfect. We usually go to Strasburg but we are so excited to have a train more local. I'm super excited to see what they do for Christmas. But no matter what this will be the new tradition for me and my family when it comes to getting our pumpkins.

We loved every part of this experience! Every employee we interacted with was welcoming and knowledgeable, the trains are beautiful and clean, the ride was smooth, and the stop off at Fenwick was festive & fun. We are looking forward to riding again!

Really nice operation. Ride is smooth, cars are clean. Staff is friendly. Saw a bald eagle, great blue heron and a bunch of wild turkeys.

The trip was very organized and the staff are very knowledgeable about the trains. It is a labor of love for a time gone by. We sat in the Caboose on the high seats.

An amazing experience! We are newer to the area but love discovering new things to explore. When I first heard that Woodstown Central Railroad was restoring a passenger train and running I hoped they would do something to see the beautiful autumn landscape and a Santa train and we are thrilled they are doing both! The kids LOVED seeing and riding the train, learning more about train travel and the evolution of the railroad. Excellent customer service fielding questions, making any accommodations necessary and just being so kind. We will be back for many rides!

To the Woodstown Central Rails. I did the classic excursion trip and booked the caboose. I really had a nice experience on the trip. I learned a lot of history related to the train. My next trip will be to the pumpkin patch.

This was our second trip this year on the WCR. This time we did the Santa Clause train with family and friends. The tickets were purchased ahead of time, which I strongly recommend. A good time was had by all. Some small gifts were handed out to the children and adults. I only have one recommendation for families with very small children who may be upset by loud noises. You may want to choose the train car in the center of the bunch to sit. The engine is required to sound its horn at each intersection and is very loud, startling the younger children. Other than that, this is a great thing for the economy of this area. A lot better than having to drive all the way to Strasburg Pennsylvania or Wilmington Delaware. I'm hopeful that this will become a tourist destination at some point. Word of mouth will definitely help. I believe there are plans to expand the length of the rail line service. Check the website for future excursions in the new year.

What a fantastic little railroad! Really well restored equipment with decent speeds and really bucolic scenery. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and the ride was the perfect length! Great for people of all ages who want a nice relaxing train ride through South Jersey. And I hear they’re going to offer alcohol onboard eventually!

A terrific tourist railroad experience. Staff were friendly and eager to share their knowledge with you. I attended their Classic excursion which was a one hour (exactly) scenic train tour going from woodstown to the outskirts of Swedesboro, returning to woodstown, past the starting spot for a short trip the other way, and returning to the starting point. The train cars and equipment is clean and beautiful. My children and I rode in the caboose and had seating in the cupola, having a great view along the entire route. As of July, you can access the outdoor portion of the train car for an awesome view. The cars are right up against the train engine so if you are sensitive to loud noise, consider bringing hearing protection as the train horn is loud and unforgiving. (But necessary) Great for kids and family. They also host a number of other events worthy of consideration.

👍 This place is an amazing mega flea market, rodeo, and eateries, all in one! It is open two days a week all year long- Tuesdays & Saturdays. Saturday offers the most having maximum vendors, food, and even live entertainment options. I am often entertained by the "two men outside singing every hit."...
