We were a party of 9. Thought this would be a great local diner to grab breakfast before we headed home from our weekend. Pretty sure we interacted with the owner. 1st there were two separate tables of 4 and plenty of space to push them together to accommodate us. However, the owner said this could not be done so we sat 5 at one and 4 at the other. Pushing them together would not have blocked the walk way. Honestly she acted like us being there was an inconvenience. The food was okay but it wasn't great. I got the Sunday special. My biscuit was cold, the sausage gravy wasn't seasoned well. My eggs were cooked perfect and the hashbrowns were good too. Our waitress was wonderful (not the owner). The food didn't take long to come out. Another group of 9 came in and was told they didn't have room because a table was reserved that we never saw cleaned or cleared while we were there. It had dirty plates on it. Again leading me to believe they don't like to accommodate large parties. I know that if we come back to visit, we will not eat here again. I hate leaving bad reviews but after realizing the owner was who we interacted with and her poor attitude I had to leave the review. I would avoid this restaurant. Especially if from out of town.

Great service, and good "diner style" food. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

I hate to be the person to write a bad review, but I placed an order via phone today. The woman on the other line spoke to me as if I was crazy, and overall had very poor manners. Usually I brush this type of stuff off- I understand everyone has bad days- but it's happened too many times from this place. It'd be nice to call next time and speak to someone polite for a change.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Its a very old diner. The prices were very reasonable.The food was served hot and fresh Our waitress was the cook, and did a wonderful job.She did mention they were a little short-handed

Price was reasonable and my hamburger and onion rings were really good. Had to finish off with a slice of elderberry pie. Place was full of regulars and very cozy.

Lady in the back made us feel like we was a inconvenience. We had 5 grown men they wanted us to sit in a booth. When one of us grabbed a extra chair and pulled it up she made a big deal in the kitchen about it.

Every time we come here, it's always been amazing! I never knew about this place until last year. We have only ever had breakfast but every time we go, it's amazing, hot and fresh!

Food was amazing. Our waitress was very polite and she did a really good job.

Friendly staff. Good prices. Confusing hamburger: (1) meat is completely unseasoned - not salted, no pepper, bland and flavorless as meat can be. (2) how is the meat cooked. Not on a grill, I think. Boiled? Sous vide? Microwaved? Toaster oven? I'm sincerely befuddled.

Have been there 4x. Everytime, pleasant, friendly, hometown folks, home cooking. I love it here but I love mom and pop restaurants not many around we can support! Prices are just crazy cheap. Not for everyone, but give it a try! Not a franchise, thank goodness too many of those.

Great food, excellent service, nice dinner with very affordable prices.

Just a small n & pops dinner in a small town. Don't see to many off these left. Don't expect great food but the serve a good size plate. Service was okay but could have been better. I liked the staff, they just got a little distracted talking with regulars and made me wait to long on stuff.
