I only wish I could rate higher than 5 stars! The atmosphere was not only welcoming, but elegant as well. The waitstaff was very prompt, conscientious, attentive (without being overbearing), and friendly. Sally, Maryann (spelling?), and Amber made a perfect team; between the drinks, appetizer, and entrée, a beat was not missed. They have a wonderful menu selection, daily specials, and of course a fabulous bar. (Happy hour Monday - Saturday, 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm. There is also a great outdoor seating area. (Dog moms and dads, let them know if you'd like to be able to bring your doggos to the patio.) Can't stress this enough, GREAT first experience and cannot wait to return.

Wonderful food here from the Bistro, Tlaquepaque, and event food. Love coming here to the outside events they have here during the summer

Go to the Bistro of Oakwood square! You won’t be disappointed… Plus all the other great new shops to visit. An on the weekends during summer. They are always have events. Great little shopping center, an in a great area.

Absolutely hands down the best food I've had in a long time ,pork chops were out of this world, and wings were fabulous,guy behind the bar was cool as hell , great time ,a great place ,will be back

Since we only went to John's Bar, I can't review the entire place. It has grown over the years and looks very nice. As for John's Bar.....5 stars from me! Food was excellent, as it was at their old location, more room inside, better parking, but same great staff and food. Highly recommend!!

We were there for the grand opening of the Plain Township amphitheater. What a wonderful place, absolutely beautiful, and the opening band was awesome.

John's bar food is usually pretty good but last week we had Roast beef dip, the broth foe dippen was like salty beef juice. my friends Corn beef sandwich only corn beef on half of the sandwich Where the meat.....they must of had a bad night. will try some ____time later

John’s Bar is great. Good service & good food. Oakwood Square has become quite the hotspot.

The resurgence of this place, with the addition of the amphitheater, is nothing short of amazing. A busy and bustling place. Totally awesome.

It looks like they have mostly finished the new amphitheater behind Ace Hardware. I'm usually just here for some light shopping at Discount Drug Mart. They are a cross between a dollar store and a small grocery store with an obvious focus on typical drug store items.

This plaza has been developed BEAUTIFULLY and is now becoming the heart of Plain Township. It has everything - great restaurants, a drug store, daycare, and even a great Anytime Fitness Gym!

This place has really changed. They are full of business such as John's Bar, thers a Mexican place in the corner, they have a Gionino's with the nicest owners. Lagest cigar place I've ever seen. It is a DORA area and they are building and outdoor stage now. They bring in vendors some weekends and is just overall a nice place to visit.

We ate at johns bar. They have done a lot to the plaza. It looks great. Johns has great food and and great atmosphere and a great place to was a sports game too if you wanted to

It's where I grew up so I go there every time I visit my family.

They have worked hard to bring Oakwood from the depths to what it is now: open and welcoming people to come visit and have a snack with us. I am loving this new improved plaza!

Secluded and convenient. Many restaurants to choose from, but we love John's bar and grill. So glad It moved over here. More private. Nice and cozy. One of our go-to. Here's a picture of my cat. Totoro.

The new John's Bar is located here, also a wine brewery and The birds nest gift and clothing shop. There are lot of new stores with ample parking.

Beautifully remodeled plaza, and such an improvement from it's former self. There are so many incredible places to eat and drink here as well as a large Drug Mart for some basic groceries, health items and other needs. Lots of events take place here such as the 720 farmers market. It seems they're always improving and it's definitely worth your time to visit.

Always love the little sidestreet markets there, happy too see the square back to its formal beauty and even beyond!

If I could give them no stars I would. This is the second time we tried them but this is the first time we walked out. We got our small salads and hard bread and had to ask about our appetizer which when it didn’t come they bagged it for us to take. After waiting and the manager or someone coming over we then had to ask about our food. When it came the meatball fell apart and looked uncooked. We asked for our bill and to take away our pasta and the manager still charged us. Oh what about dirty silverware. She had the nerve to bring a bill for $29 and basically throw it on the table and said nothing. Do not support this restaurant as it’s nothing like in Massillon.

It's a cool plaza. And there doing more work to it. All it needs is a few shopping areas in it.

Love it here. Most of the restaurants.and stores here are great. They have a cruise-in every Monday in the summer. They are building an amphitheater for concerts. This plaza has come a long way.

Lobster Bisque was thin and lacked the lobster. Stuffed mushrooms were good but not hot. Barely warm. I had veal parm. Veal was quite good but paste was under cooked below al dente. Staff was nice. Replaced the pasta.

Really nice area. They really did a lot to this place since I was there years ago. All the restaurants and walking areas are really nice and clean. Good place for a few hours out and about.

I remember when that plaza was first built and IGA was there where drug Mart is now, it also crazy the Pizza Hut and Mickey D's is gone. But I am so ecstatic to see the life coming back to Oakwood Square. Can't wait for the amphitheatre to be done. I will definitely be back when the car show season is here. I really thought once IGA left the square, the square was going to become one of those abandoned plazas that never took off. I remember when Goodwill was there and the donation trailer. Oh wow I remember to the old Oakwood square video store yes I'm vintage and grew up in the 90s lol.

The square has definitely improved over the past few years. Multiple restaurants to chose from as well as have a Drug Mart as the anchor.

Nice plaza with a variety of businesses. Only issue is the parking at Peak hours. Customers visiting the restaurants take over the parking lot

I am so glad to see this once run down plaza being used again. Very nicely done. They have car shows every Monday at 3, a Farmer's market every week through the summer. Lots of great places to eat, get a few drinks or just go shopping at Drug Mart. If you haven't come out to see the new restaurants or bars, I recommend you do.
