I decided to stay local for my Anniversary! And Boy was I surprised. I made reservations that day. Upon arrival we were met by the Host who had immediately took my wife and I to our table and wished us a Happy Anniversary! While being seated I couldn’t help to notice that this place was nice, the seating comfortable, and staff especially our waitress was amazing. This is in Ayer? The Food was Fantastic!! Check them out!!!

me and lady enjoy coming here. the vibe is cozy, food is great, and staff are all friendly. a mystery person paid for our dinner tonight so we wanted to thank you (whoever you are) it was very sweet and had my pregnant wife emotional. we did pay it forward. here’s to good people and lasting memories like tonight..

The ambiance is cozy and elegant with a fire place and small, tasteful bar. The white linem table clothes adorn tables with soft, lit candles. For starters, the bread is homemade and out of this world with the oil and herbs. We are not talking store bought anything here! The service is top-notch and friendly. Our server, Ryan and (spelling?) was knowledgeable in helping my husband decide on the pork cheek, a meal you can only get in Italy and in this restaurant with polenta and an amazing blend of beans and other great ingredients. My pappardella lobster with truffle and pasta was probably the best meal that I have had in a long time, ever? The pasta is also homemade and fresh. It is light and yet filling, but it does not outshine the lobster. We are talking large chunks of fresh lobster meat! The butter sauce made it all wonderful with zucchini and aquarium mixed in for added flavor and color. My son's salad was great with the substitution of shrimp for the steak, just a personal preference. We are definitely looking forward to coming back. The menu items are priced high, but they are not skimping on the meal. The food is worth every penny!

Customized menus, daily specials and a great menu. Lucias never disappoints. I always make a reservation just in case it’s a bit busy. From escargot to finely cooked aged NY bone-in steak you should find something you like. Staff is overly friendly. One of my favorites in the area.

I brought my significant other here for dinner. Our server was Jamie. She was very pleasant and especially patient with our ordering. We enjoyed fried calamari and mozzarella arancini both were delicious. She had the lobster stack for dinner and she said she must've died and went to heaven. I had sciue sciue which was spicy and I paired it with sausage. We were too full for dessert but we're planning to go back to try the tiramisu and the chocolate de pot creme.

My family and I are fortunate enough to live less than 10 minutes from this establishment and it has become a favorite of ours, and a must go whenever we have friends or family visiting. The dining room is not huge, so a reservation is highly recommended, but the atmosphere is excellent and very comfortable. Whether you want to dress casually or go a little more formal you won't feel out of place. The service is absolutely impeccable, with the staff being knowledgeable, attentive, and very friendly. We have had several servers in the times we have gone and never had anything but top notch service. The food itself is nothing short of excellent. I try to sample something new every time we visit, and I have never been disappointed. We have also heard nothing but adulation on the quality of the food from anyone we take here. If you are in the Ayer area and looking for a place for a night out, this is a no brainier, and I would also say a must visit

This is truly a neighborhood gem capable of competing with fine dining eateries on food and service, and completely outshining them when it comes to value!

We were very disappointed in our meal. The pasta was over cooked and smothered in sauce. We also received wrong order and had to wait for correct order. The chicken Marsala was tough and under seasoned. My friend ordered lasagna and it was so dry! If that wasn’t bad enough we sat outside and it was all flies and bugs flying around! Will not be back.

Always a wonderful experience when going to Lucia's. Plenty of options to choose from. Food is amazing. Full of excellent flavor. Ashley our waitress was AMAZING. Always checked in at the right time. Great attitude. Sean also is a fantastic singer (sang Happy Birthday in Italian for those who want a fun Italian surprise 😉). Will be back again!

Wonderful food and experience. Had the Branzino topped with crab meat and it was delicious. The noodles were light and the green beans were crisp and flavorful too.

As a huge fan of fresh, home made pasta, I've been dying to try Lucias Tavola for a while now, and a friend made us dinner reservations for tonight at 5. The ambiance was lovely, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. It was very quiet at first, was picking up as we left an hour later. The bread was a little bland and cold but the oil dip was very good. I ordered a margarita which was not good, way too tangy and too much tequila (my own fault...it's not a mexican restaurant!) I had the Aqua Pazza (photo below) and my date had the Frutti de Mare Fra Diavola. The seafood on both was perfectly cooked and fresh. The pasta was slightly overcooked but still delicious, the sauce on mine was a bit bland and seemed to be lacking the herbs (but I refused the black pepper which would have helped). The Fra Diavola sauce had a nice kick to it. Overall a nice experience, and we will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. My wife and I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. The service is absolutely fantastic and the food is excellent. If you go during the warmer months they have a great outdoor seating area. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Atmosphere was exceptional, dined outside behind the restaurant which was very nice. My filet mignon was overcooked and some of our party found their dinner lacking in flavor. Otherwise, service was very good and we enjoyed our meal.

Lucias is by far the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. I never leave reviews but after the meals and appetizers we had I feel like I should. The service was great and the food was amazing. I’m not easy to please but I will definitely be going back. My new favorite spot👍

I went here two times last week. The first night the food was great - I ordered gluten free pasta with Bolognese sauce. I'd give it 4 stars. The second night the food was absolutely terrible - 1 star. The filet mignon was overcooked and very small and the broccolini was not broccolini. There was also no spices added to the broccolini. Steamed and that's it. Very disappointed. Same server was great both nights and we had a very large group for her to take care of!

Lucia's rarely misses or has an off night. We started with the bacon wrapped dates and Arancini. 2 of the best Italian appetizers I've had at any Italian restaurant. Finished with the seafood alfredo, which is a really great dish. It's a nice portion, lots of shrimp and lobster. And the noodles were cooked perfectly. We will see you soon Lucia's!

All of our food was delicious. It was a little salty, which wasn't a problem for us but might bother some people. The calamari was crisp, the risotto was SO creamy, and the short ribs, scallops, and shrimp were all cooked to perfection. The bread was freshly baked and still warm. Our server was so friendly and helpful. A delightful experience all around!

Amazing itialian restaurant in the old Town of Ayer! This place is small but it's got big flavor in its dishes. The menu is full of Italian classics with a price that is relatively affordable to how much portion you get. Along with the food, the atmosphere is just as local as the restaurant and more modern than Italian. The staff was very kind to even need and happy to have a fun conversation without having to feel rushed. Will highly recommend going here for a pleasant date or in the mood for some authentic Italian.

I give this fabulous restaurant 5 stars as it deserves it, from the time we entered our server couldn't have been more pleasant. Greeted us with a smile attentive but nit over the top just perfect. Answered questions with honesty and as for the food it was unbelievable. Compliments to the chef and waitress the staff here are the best 👌 👍

Went here on Saturday night for a date with my boyfriend. We had made a reservation online. I was extremely impressed with the taste and quality of everything we ordered. Calamari was lightly bartered and fresh, not heavy. House Italian dressing on the salad was delicious. I was blown away by my limoncello pasta. Portion sizes were smaller than I expected but quality was incredible. With the bread and oil and salad, I was full. My boyfriend loved his fettuccine alfredo. We finished it off with an incredible pot de creme that was so rich and fluffy. Our server was so sweet and helpful. It took a good amount of time for each course to come out but it gave us time to digest and also it was a Saturday night. We will definitely be back.

The staff at Lucia's were really wonderful for our group of 10, and the food and wine were exceptional. We were there during the week so parking was simple but it looked like there was plenty around the center. Risotto was done perfectly, short ribs and seafood were also expertly done. Looking forward to our next visit.

We have gone there three times and the first time we stopped in, is the reason we kept coming back. Chris who works the bar is incredibly friendly and just an overall great guy. Service was very fast and my husband’s favorite is the chicken Parm. Personally I like the drinks- they make them very well.
