Fantastic venue for performers and audience members alike. As a performer, Ian was one of the most accommodating hosts/engineers I've ever worked with, and it's just a great space. Cool aesthetic, interesting variety of acts, and excellent room sound. Plus there's a great selection of beverages (including local craft beer) to enjoy while you watch. I'm not in Portland often, but I cannot wait to make it back over. Highly recommend.

Ian did a fantastic job setting everything up for perfectly for our out-of-town group. Sun Tiki had everything we needed, as well as nice extras like beverages, masks, and earplugs. Parking was easy. The sound was great! I would highly recommend this studio!

Outstanding venue. Intimate, clean, great acoustics, friendly staff. Saw The Burning Hell, Jeffrey Lewis, and Myles Bullen there recently. This is a top tier venue, and a tremendous resource for touring artists and local performers alike.

First off the room sounds awesome. It's a bit small. But other than that this place is awesome. Will definitely be back.

Great place to see original acts. Pro stage, sound system, and lights give the small room a "big" feel. Would be 5-stars if ticketing was properly enforced... As a musician and fan of indie music, the lax ticket collection meant a lot of revenue for the bands was uncollected at the shows I've attended. I guess if the bands don't care, then NBD. Beyond that, a fantastic music room that is a HUUUUUUGE bonus in town where cover bands and DJs rule. I'll happily pay to see shows here. I can't wait to perform at Sun Tiki! This was an awesome place to find. The owner, Ian, went out of his way for us and for another band's last minute need as well. The rooms are great for the price and it has a very good vibe, I highly recommend it!

I had a good time tramped and frolicked thru the dance floor and my sister gave birth afterwards it was beautiful my mom wouldn't buy me anything alcoholic

This place despite how small it is for a venue puts ono put on pretty remarkably amazing is amazing musical performances. Have a hugely wide variety of artists coming in from all over the place. I beg you to check out their scheduling and give this place a chance.

I have rehearsed and performed live at Sun Tiki. Ian Smith is an extraordinary host and makes musicians feel totally valued and at home there. He has a healthy selection of drums, guitar amps, bass amps and such so you get a respite from having to lug all your gear in. It’s just a super positive place and they host live music four nights a week, ranging from national touring bands to newly formed garage bands. I highly recommend it for musicians and lovers of live music shows.
