When the agent (Simon) first visited our home his charisma and enthusiasm reeled us in, after our first couple of encounters and we signed NEXA as our agents we had very little contact at all. I would have put a single star but as buyers were already lined up for our home (which was why we signed), one star might almost seem unfair. We asked for our neighbours not to be informed and for the property not to be listed online seeing as the sale was agreed without it needing to be listed as we wanted to inform our neighbours ourselves ... This was agreed but the agent went ahead and done it anyway. Throughout the long process (with initially slow solicitors the agent recommended as fast) we received no contact or response from any emails and each time we called we were met with "I was just about to call you!" , we resorted to making direct contact with the family who were buying our home to see what was going on. Fortunately the agent of the property we bought (Rural Scene) "cracked the whip" with our solicitors and kept us informed throughout. We didn't receive any contact from the agents when the property sale was drawing to a close, neither did we receive anything on completion.... It felt as though they took the money and walked away. Rural Scene called us throughout and gave us a welcome card from their team when we moved.. Our solicitor was questioning us on our move day to see if we had heard from the agent in regards to the key exchange as they hadn't received any response from the agent either. The buyers of our property were not even offered to be met by the agents with the keys to make their transition easier (they were expected to drive in rush hour Bristol City to the agent to collect) ... I handed the keys to them personally to make it easier for them. So, a VERY EASY SALE for NEXA with VERY LITTLE customer support and close to ZERO service. I'm sorry to say that in hindsight I'd have chosen differently.. Although if you're are after no contact or non personal service, at a premium price these may be perfect for your requirements.

I looked at many different estate agents when deciding to sell my one bed harbourside flat that I had lived in for 11 years. As soon as I met Will at NEXA, I knew he was the right fit, I could imagine buyers meeting him and just feeling like he was a normal person. I had considered selling the property myself, because at the time I thought who better to show people around my flat than me? I definitely didn’t appreciate the amount of work that I would soon see happened at the later stages. I can confidently say I don’t think the sale would have gone through at all without him. He personally made an effort to communicate with my buyer and my solicitor as well as myself, and when my purchase was struggling he also got in touch with the management company and the solicitors and the estate agents at the other end of the chain. He was always at the end of the phone, very quick to help - but in a normal, relatable way. I think he’s a credit to the business & I wouldn’t use any other estate agent going forward. I will continue to recommend them to everyone. It felt like more of a risk choosing them compared to more well known names but I’m so glad that I did.

Simon at Nexa cannot be faulted and is highly recommended if you are looking at selling your house. Ours was a tricky one as it was a probate house of my late parents. The sale was lengthy and fell through a number of times and was delayed for other reasons but Simon’s patience, kindness and amazing negotiating skills were used fully for this sale. Bought a house that was marketed through Nexa Bristol. Website and house advert was clear and straight to the point and not missing out on any details. Communication from Simon at Nexa was amazing, including out of hour calls during the whole process. After a long term tenant moved out and left the property in a disgusting state, we met with Laura, discussed our plans and took on board her advice and set about work. Nexa we’re recommended to me by a friend Simon was so efficient and easy to communicate with throughout the sale of my property.
