Lovely scenic area with lots of wildlife, plants and walking routes. But be careful as it's very easy to take the wrong path within the woods. Be sure to follow the main paths and take a picture of the map if you can.

Amazing park, and loads of nice paths to explore. Car park off pant lane is quite small, so may need to park down the road if it's busy

A pleasant circular walk. Places to sit and absorb the surroundings. I liked it!

We really enjoyed our walk here, vast open woodland great for kids to explore and still be in view running through the rows of trees. The only disappointment being the play area we was expecting was gone when we got to the end of the loop so the kids weren't happy. Car park is small, but people were coming and going constantly so wouldn't wait long and I think you can park on the street outside. Definitely recommend here over a trip to somewhere like Delamere. Take a picture of the map because the paths were fairly hard to follow about half way around. Highly recommended and we'll definitely visit again.

Over felling of trees has made the once pleasant walks through the woods either inaccessible or a health hazard and has probably devastated some wildlife species.

Good walking but prepare to get lost! We went round in circles but it was a nice day and we went to get plenty of steps in.

Lovely walks really peaceful great place for the kids to go wild and burn off energy, spoilt a bit by youths hanging out smoking weed occasionally I know it's hard to control, have to re iterate it's not all the time but sometimes you can smell it from the car park !! Not nice especially when you have kids with you. Maybe occasional police patrols may help put them off a bit

What a great place to walk the dog. Absolutely loved it here. Far bigger than I thought. So many little footpaths to explore off the main route. My pup certainly loved it...a paws-up from her. Small free car park. Will certainly visit again for sure.

Beautiful walk around Marford Quarry. Some parts look like it belongs in the Jurassic era.

Great little walk, dog friendly and well maintained paths. Car park is small but plenty of street parking.

Lovely little woods. I really enjoyed it with the dogs. The car park is small but plenty of street parking available. It's a hidden gem, worth a visit.

My only criticism is lot's of dog muck, also 2 dogs running off leads & not under control scaring the kids. But other wise enjoying walk

No dog poo bins anywhere, great for a community that complains about dog poo consistently...

Great place to walk the dogs. Has a playground for kids too, but it is only suitable for slightly older kids. Nothing for toddlers.

We love our little walks, who knew this gem was lurking so close. Found details on os maps app.

Nice local woods reasonably well looked after. Allow for some mud in places. Some traffic noise from A483.

Maes y Pant was originally referred to as Gresford and Marford Quarries and covers a large area West of the villages. It's undulating woodland where you can walk your dog or yourself or run our cycle round on your mountain bike(it's shared space so respect other users). A circular route is approximately three miles if you go right round and there is a small car park on Pant Lane with additional Street parking.

Didn't even know this lovely wood was here! Lovely paths and walk, kids loved riding their bikes over the bumps and hills.

Never fails to provide a lovely walk in beautiful surroundings and chatting along the way with fellow walkers. Very lucky to have this on our doorstep.
