A great place to stay! Amazing clean and warm caravan (we stayed in the winter) I wish we booked in for longer! Modern and cosy, very comfy bed and ensuite! The only downside was there wasnt anyone in the reception in the morning to see what's around locally, but we managed ok anyway with trusty google maps!

Really nice park. The whole site is very clean and tidy and very well maintained. The site is also very quiet, ideal for a relaxing break. Good location as very close to the city centre and plenty of shops nearby.

Lovely friendly lady greeted us at reception and checked us in, beautiful site, very quiet, nothing for children but my kids enjoyed paddling pools on the decking area and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the caravan as we were out and about, 30 mins away from a gorgeous beach in Abergele wales, round the corner from shopping centres and Chester zoo. Caravan was very clean, loads of space, everything you need. downfall the pull out bed was very small for 2 adults. If I get a chance to return to Chester I will definitely stay here again, thanks for a lovely stay, gutted to be going home 😞

I am leaving two reviews, one from myself and the other from my family who stayed here for 7 days in one of the rentals (R19). We own a holiday home on this park, it is the best thing we have ever purchased. Very peaceful, beautiful location and surrounds, very well maintained and excellent management and staff. If you are looking to purchase a holiday home here or rent one then you won't be disappointed, you wouldn't know you are in Chester when you are on the park. Our family stayed here for 7 days in one of the rentals directly opposite our holiday home, they absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning. Our nephew and niece both said they preferred this holiday compared to going abroad. Thanks to Debbie & Bev for making their stay so welcoming.

Great location for visiting Chester, loved the canal path , so handy for biking into city . Only downside our caravan had a large tree blocking all sun from our decking. Nice clean caravan, wouldn't hesitate to recommend

This is a lovely Caravan site! So peaceful and a quiet retreat away from the busy road that I live on! Ideally situated on the edge of Chester City Centre, down a long rural road. Nice and secure, with card to get through the barrier. On site warden, reception (all real friendly) and laundry room. There is a mix of caravans and lodges for sale with a few caravans for holiday rental. My cat (also called Chester) loves it, highly recommend! (PS: This is a repost, I accidentally deleted my initial review! Silly me!) :D

The caravans and holiday park are very clean, and well looked after. The park is very quiet and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The park is an ideal base for a good holiday, 5 minutes walk away is Sealand Road park and ride, 5 minute bus ride into Chester city centre. Chester is a very interesting place to visit, I enjoyed walking along the city wall, with excellent views of the racecourse, River Dee, and the many historical features Chester has to offer. Chester is also a very good shopping area. 10 minutes walk away from the park, along Ferry Lane, is the Wales Coast Path, a excellent walking and cycling path alongside the River Dee.

Our first visit to firtrees and without a doubt we will be returning. Amazing friendly staff that will go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. And making sure we got to our accommodation safely. All are secure with barriers and large locked gates at night. We have been on many caravan/ lodge breaks, but our accommodation was absolutely fantastic with everything we could ever need. Smart TV with netflix amazon Prime, etc. Smart fire Free WiFi central heating Decking with seating and table, etc. Without out a doubt, the cleanest caravan / lodge accommodation we have ever experienced. We even shared our breakfast with the local squirrels, which in itself made my visit. Thank you to Gary for all of your help and the owl present for our little girl who celebrated her birthday. And also the loan of your personal extra clothes hangers. Cannot fault anything at all from the beginning to end of our stay. We will 100% be returning for another break away. 100% recommend staying with firtrees.

Beautiful caravan and lovely peaceful park. Great location for Chester which is only a few minutes away by car and Liverpool is easily reached for a day trip. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay for a few days if you are looking for a quiet site.

The lodge was quite new, larger than we expected, really well presented and very clean. It was close to a field with horses and shaded by trees which was welcome as it was 30c temps all week. This little fellow wanter to share the lodge with us!
