Lovely pub and the most wonderful friendly service. Food was delicious. Costs a little more than other nearby establishments around the Towyn area but worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone looking at treating themselves to a real nice meal. Staff were amazing too.

After a period of nearly 2 years we had our first pub grub. We were actually on our way to get a fish and chip takeaway from a chippy in Llandudno but saw a sign from the A55 to Saint George - this reminded us of a pub we used to visit nearly 30 years ago. We couldn't remember the name and wondered if it still existed so we went to have a look! As part of our great escape from the restrictions of covid we had a lunch time meal here. This place was such a treat - fortunately the sun 🌞 was shining and the weather was hot. Having been locked in for such a long time we were able to sit outside at suitably physically distanced tables. We had a lovely meal and some very decent beer and wine. The staff were extremely helpful and caring, making a major fuss of the dog with treats and hugs (as shown in one of the pictures). We will return. xxx

Myself, my partner and our one-year old went here for Sunday Lunch this past weekend. The Kinmal Arms is a beautiful looking place inside and out. The room they put us in to have our lunch was slightly cold, no heating on even though it's winter. The meal was basic, we did expect better considering the prices and it's reputation. Overall I give it 4 stars, the staff were very nice, the food wasn't bad apart from the meat, it wasn't good meat, but overall the meal was OK just not what was expected. I wouldn't mind trying this place out for a few drinks on one evening, sitting and drinking on the sofas next to the lit fire.

We had a great Christmas family meal on the weekend. Nice big table in the conservatory surrounded by lovely decorations. Staff were attentive ( while bringing food out) and friendly, one improvement I would say is we would have had more drinks if we'd have been asked, as it got a bit confusing weather it was table service or we where to go to the bar ourselves which was difficult for anyone sat against the window to get in and out. Food was a bit slow coming out but understandable with a large group of 11 adults and 4 children. Food was all very tasty and cooked really well, I had the scotch egg, turkey and Christmas pudding. Will definitely be going back again soon and recommending to friends. Thank you for a great festive meal.

Just happened to pull off the dual carriageway and stumbled on this absolute gem of a pub. Log burner roaring, staff cheerful, service friendly.

Great food and surroundings. Service is good and staff very friendly, albeit some long waiting between courses and for the bill but that’s a small gripe.

They kindly fitted us in at very short notice following a change of plans. I used to go regularly but haven't been recently, so wasn't sure what to expect. The food and drink was superb and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Friendly and welcoming. We had a great evening there and will be sure to return.

So having been on numerous occasions under the previous ownership, this was my first time since the new owners took over. Whilst I appreciate these are strange times we now live in embracing the changes with covid19, we entered the pub and were immediately stopped by notices at the bar requesting we wait to be seated so couldn't proceed to sit down. One of the staff a pleasant young man asked had we booked? I replied we had and that we were early as we wanted a drink first before eating, found this a bit awkward as our guests were unable to sit anywhere or get a drink until my booking was confirmed. Eventually got a drink and we were shown to our table. The menu was not extensive but still has plenty of choice. I had the beetroot and feta fritters with tzatziki which were delicious followed by sea bass fillets served with chorizo and haricot beans with a tomato sauce, I asked if I could swap the gnocchi out for halloumi fries the waitress checked and said no problem at all. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I followed with a slice of lovely gooey sticky toffee pudding with icecream. A nice bottle of NZ sauvignon with our meal and a port at the end of it. Overall a delightful experience and pleasant staff plus a not overly expensive meal. Will go back in the future

Called in for a Sunday lunch with the family. Pre booked to avoid disappointment. Lovely setting and attentive staff. The roast we opted for was beef and it was delicious!! Best lunch we have had for quite a while. Will definitely return and its dog friendly.

We called in here for lunch today and what started off for us as perfect, great service and lovely food quickly escalated into my brother coming down ill early into the mains. Nothing to do with the food i might hasten to add. The staff at Kinmel were outstanding, especially H and the tall slim young lad (sorry we didn't catch your name) who looked after my brother with such compassion. We ended up taking him to A&E and thankfully he got sorted. We will return someday soon and are so appreciative of the staff of the Kinmel Arms for all they did. You can see why the reviews folk have left so reflect the superb service and quality of food served up here.

Came here by chance for lunch and so glad we did. Friendly cheerful staff (all Covid regs adhered to). Lovely scenic view from the outdoor seating, with a very convivial atmosphere amongst the customers. Dog friendly both inside and out, with water bowls provided. Excellent service, who checked with us to see whether we wanted further drinks - not normally a big fan of Robinson Unicorn bitter, but they offered Cascade IPA and it was delicious! Good quality food (I had lambs liver) and generous portions. Being fairly local we will return and a good place to bring visitors as the village is very picturesque. Highly recommend
