Lovely cafe in a beautiful spot by the river. Nice seating outside as well as inside. I really enjoyed japanese green tea with cherry blossom. Very friendly staff too

Last visited in the summer of 2020 and was caught out by the minimum card payment of £10. This year it's £12 so beware if it's just one or two of you having a quick cuppa. I've only used the cashpoint once in the last 16 months and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Good service though and coffee and cake were good.

have visited this lovely cafe a couple of times now. discovered it by accident when turning around in the entrance way... its a hidden gem....great place, friendly & helpful staff, great food, including some korean themed dishes as well as english ones... all of which are really nice, and everything is home cooked. fantastic location, quiet... right next to a small river with a seated balcony in a peaceful setting. will definatley be going again when i'm passing :)

I adore Honey's Bakery! The location is perfect, the food and drinks taste great (particularly the iced lattes), the price is very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly. I can't recommend the café enough and I am so thrilled to have found it. 😁

Cute little place to stop off and have a bite to eat. The parking is alittle tight but it's worth it. Card payments charge unless you spend over a certain amount but it is also made clear as soon as you enter. I got the English breakfast and it was so nice! Would definitely recommend it.

Lovely vegan breakfast, coffees and sugar donuts. Had a great meal here while out for a big walk in the countryside, it certainly filled us up! Friendly service nd good value for money.

Love this place, staff and customers always happy and chatty. Dog friendly and my teenagers love the food, which is fab. Totally recommend the avacado cake.

I have been visiting this café for a number of years and always spent well there. I've always received fantastic service and beautiful food. 10/10 here. Unfortunately, I do not like having animals barking next to my table when eating out, or dog saliva on my clothes when having breakfast. Wet animals do give off a oder, I'm experiencing this when eating at Honeys more often, especially through winter. Lunch visit a month ago there was dog mess and urine on the floor from a customers German Shepard who was queueing whilst i was eating. Disgusting! I fully support animal friendly sites but not in a café or around food. Although the mess was cleaned quickly, I feel this policy needs to be revised on H&S grounds. Or animals to remain outside when attending. Damp animal smells, dogs yapping, dog hair and saliva on my clothes from dogs inside, and hygiene concerns, I now use the River Cafe in Llangollen.

I call there occasionally on the way to Wrexham or back ,mainly for a coffee and a scone with jam cream and butter . The staff are very pleasant, it's situated by a small river, pleasant atmosphere. When i first went there about 8 years ago it was quiet, its got a lot busier now.

Nice lunch on their outside tables with the river as a backdrop. Pleasant staff, dog friendly. Good service and nice food (we just had a sandwich). Will be back!

This place is a great find. The staff are very accommodating of dietary needs and the quality of the food is surprisingly excellent. Never disappointing and the setting is great too. I hope that not too many people find it because its already busy due to being a great place in every sense. I would happily queue for to get a seat because it is so worth it

We visited Honeys a few weekends ago and I can't stop thinking about the delicious honey toast and caramel latte we had for breakfast! Beautiful cafe and lovely friendly staff too!

On sunny days, I sometimes have tea with my friend on the terrace. The chai latte has just the right amount of sweetness and is our favorite drink. All the staff are very kind. I was happy to see that a staff knew about Japan♡

We came for the Thai night. I've not eaten much Thai food before, but this was lovely, I got to try new food and flavours. Service was great, food was lovely. Would recommend the special evenings. We've also been during the day for coffee, lunch, and cake, and there is always a good selection on the menu and a variety of cakes to choose from. They do have a minimum spend of £12 if you want to pay by card. We would recommend Honey's.

Very nice food

After hearing positive reviews we thought we would call past for some breakfast . Sadly we waited whilst people who arrived later were served before us, finally we asked if we would take away two coffees and a bacon and sausage roll to as we needed to leave in 15 mins. 25 mins later it all arrived and it was over cooked and bland. No offer of sauces and tasted no better than a ‘greasy spoon’, which you can see from the picture.

I have been to Honey's lots of times but it was the first visit since coming out of restrictions from Covid. I am glad to say they still bake delicious looking cakes and we had a lovely cooked breakfast as my daughter took me for that on my birthday. I thoroughly recommend Honey's. There is good access up a ramp for prams and wheelchairs and tables outside and in. Most important friendly service.

The cafe was in a lovely location by the river, the food was really good, freshly made and the homemade cake was divine, well worth a small detour to visit.

Everytime I come here the tea pots are dirty! It seems they ever clean them. Also the cart machine is always not working and they accept only cash. This is not true. Its their policy I a regular client because of the spot beautiful on the Riverside. So of the staff it's nice but I have not always been treated politely And the cash policy its not OK. I have use everything take away, dine in

The food is of a great quality, I have been greeted well upon entrance on both occasions & the place is of a very clean & tidy standard. I will be returning to Honey's & hopefully ordering more than just a breakfast in order to see how good the food is here. I must say, the capachino and the chai latte have both been great! Had afternoon tea delivered I ordered it for 1.00 and it arrived bang on time everything was lovely and fresh will definitely order it again

Over priced plain food.. Not going to fill you up.. And 7 quid for a can of coke and a bacon, sausage and egg bun you could fit in the palm of your kids hand.. nope.. not for us!
