Had a very quick look around, mines near the free carpark... visitor centre shut but could walk around the mine ruins, lots of signposted walks to various places, including Nant Mill. looked a very interesting area so will be back. A brilliant little place to spend a few hours the walk around the area is lovely and the main lead mines are impressive and well maintained.

Nothing but the old mine equipment and a few buildings. No restoration has been done, no people to talk to, just a 10 minutes walk around. Cold have been a great place with lots of storytelling.

Done the Clywedog valley trial today from the lead mines down to kings mills and back cracking walk sturdy ground most of the way but few uneven patches definitely recommend even if you wanted to split the areas up

Industrial heritage site under the care of the charity Groundwork. Part of the Clwydog trail linking Minera Quarry to King's Mill in Wrexham.

Nothing but old mine equipment and a few buildings left to rot. No restoration work, no signage, no notice or story boards, no staff and no other visitors. It's okay if you intend to walk your dog along the nearby trail which is advertised as a country park. Sadly the the 2 miles that we walked of it (to the former limestone quarry) was nothing more than a narrow gravel footpath which ended up crossing some people's gardens and livestock.

Nice little walk for the little ones if you go down the trail across the road to bridge at the bottom of the steps turn left on to a dirt track there's a bit you can walk so far down the river .

Great place for local walks. We have the os maps app which we have to say is fantastic 👏 loads of routes from here going to the nant Mill, over to the quarries. Etc. Would love to convert the mill into a house, would be epic.

There are tours late morning and early afternoon so it was closed when I arrive at 4pm...I could walk around the outside though

Nice place to spend an afternoon with kids. Pity it seems you cannot cycle there at all or at least in certain parts. Today 27.12.it was not even busy. Most of people we met were dog walkers but not much of litter around

Nice place to spend time with kids. But it seems that it's not functioning now. You can access walking trails from there.
