Service was great and so was the food. Breakfast tasted home made and delicious. Liz was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Loved their homemade Biscuits, Grits was delicious and bacon was the best I ever tasted. Atmosphere small and cozy with lots os locals conversing and having a good time. Very inviting and parking is located in the small shopping plaza. If ever in the area again, will certainly be back!

The service staff were very nice. The menu and prices decent. The servings generous. Coffee was good. That's the good stuff. The place wasn't too clean. I ordered two eggs, tomato slices and burger steak. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy with hash brown potatoes crispy with onions. Our food was only slightly warmer than room temperature. It was also quite bland. The burger steak was dry and dense. I ate the tomatoes only. 😞

First time eating here but will not be the last. The french toast is amazing! Christin was a great waitress, very friendly and welcoming. It was pretty crowded but didn't have any trouble finding a seat. They should put the breakfast menu on their website. This place may be my "go to" spot for breakfast. It's that good!

If I could give it 12 stars I would. @google This place has amazing food and amazing service. Everything is homemade and tastes like it. We came two day in a row and they even remembered our drinks. Definitely a place to go. And major plus, no masks required for entry. All employees do wear masks and hand sanitizer is provided directly inside the entrance.

A classic Southern diner experience with streamlined ordering and check payment processing via QR code, if you like. It was perfect! The biscuits and gravy were great as well as the fresh tomatoes, grits and corn-beef hash. Five Stars!

Great atmosphere and true Homestyle Restraunt feel. When you first step theru the door you feel at home. The hospitality is grade A and the service was awesome as well. Prices were as expected not bad at all. The specials should be a little cheaper considering they are specials however the prices were great. The food was great also I can say the special "stew beef and rice" was a bit bland and could've use some kind of zing. Tasted ok and I was satisfied with the food. Would recommend stopping by for a Southern Treat :)

This was my first time eating there, and I loved it! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great, and affordable. The place was clean, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes a calm and attentive setting for good tasting breakfast.

Excellent service and an inexpensive breakfast place. I ordered my eggs over-medium and the yolks came runny, not cooked (like a lot of other restaurants do). The server didn't let my coffee mug get lower than a 1/4 empty. The plate portions are a good size and I didn't leave still feeling hungry.

Me and my husband and son just discovered this place (we have lived in the Wilmington area since we were born) and we can’t get enough of this place. Good southern style cooking. They also have daily specials with sides. Last time I got the chicken & dumplings and potato salad! I can’t get enough of their potato salad - so yummy! Very affordable & fast we never wait long for our food to arrive. Staff is great. 10/10 recommend

Absolutely love the place. Small and cozy. Crowded. Not pretentious. Very folksy. We had breakfast. No questioning when we asked for cheese in eggs or anything added in. Like mayo with my sliced tomatoes. They were out of banana pudding, which means its probably good. Good portions. Great prices. Friendly service. Will definitely come back when we visit Wilmington again.

Love this place. Delicious home cooking. Friendly service and the food comes out quickly. You know it's good when it's always packed with locals. I've never been there and not seen someone I know. Yesterday I had fried oysters, french fries and slaw with hush puppies for less than $20. And it was all delicious. Also had a cup of clam chowder that was as good as you can get in a seafood restaurant.

Bare bones classic diner door. Small menu with everything you would expect for a small local cafe. Just wat I was looking for. Good grits, smoked sausage, biscuits and gravy, all with fast and friendly service. Nothing fancy, just good breakfast.
