The
Briller
Kebap
Stall
was
an
institution
for
many
years.
I
was
there
as
a
student
when
we
spent
our
evenings
in
Café
Creme
before
we
went
to
the
Arena
or
to
the
Bhaggy
in
Ddorf.
I'll
soon
reach
50
and
live
most
of
the
time
in
Croatia
on
the
beautiful
island
of
Lošinj.
I
eat
there
every
day
because
it's
so
cheap.
With
around
20
EUR
for
a
decent
lunch
and
three
beers,
I
can
get
by
well
there.
When
I
was
recently
in
Germany
I
remembered
the
kebab
shop
at
the
weekend.
The
last
time
I
was
there
was
around
2009
with
my
ex.
We
sat
outside
in
the
summer
and
had
a
pretty
good
meal
there.
Nothing
special,
Turkish
cuisine
is
just
"simple".
But
you
can
hardly
go
wrong
with
meat,
salad
and
various
sauces.
I
was
there
yesterday.
After
the
previous
owner
apparently
went
bankrupt,
the
very
nice
Turkish
landlady
found
a
new
tenant.
What
can
I
say.
The
portion
was
large,
the
Erdinger
tasted
like
an
Erdinger
tastes
(Unertl
would
be
the
better
choice)
and
the
shop
seemed
clean.
I
didn't
use
the
toilet.
A
previous
reviewer
wrote
something
about
cartilage.
I
can
not
confirm
that.
However,
the
kebab
skewer
was
probably
from
the
day
before
and
therefore
correspondingly
tough.
A
little
was
saved
with
the
sauces,
but
not
with
the
meat.
Possibly
a
sign
that
it
just
had
to
go.
Maybe
just
buy
smaller
skewers
in
the
future
or
make
them
yourself.
Anyway,
I
ate
well
and
had
no
stomach
ache
or
diarrhea
eleven
hours
later.
What
annoyed
me
personally
was
the
fact
that
the
waitress
hardly
spoke
any
German.
Sorry,
but
as
a
German
with
an
obvious
migration
background,
I
expect
German-speaking
service
even
in
a
kebab
shop.
But
there
are
no
points
deducted
for
this
shortcoming.
It's
just
a
well-intentioned
note
regarding
better
integration.
In
any
case,
I
wish
you
all
the
best
for
the
future.
And
maybe
let
a
female
hand
have
a
look
at
the
slightly
undercooled
interior
design.
